Nehemías 11

EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Los jefes del pueblo se establecieron en Jerusalén. El resto del pueblo fue sorteado para que uno de cada diez hombres viviera en Jerusalén, la Ciudad santa, y los otros nueve en las demás ciudades.	1 Now the leaders of the people took up residence in Jerusalem; so the rest of the people drew lots: oneman in ten was to come and live in Jerusalem, the holy city, while the other nine were to stay in the townsoutside.
2 Y el pueblo bendijo a todos los hombres que se ofrecieron voluntariamente para vivir en Jerusalén.	2 The people praised al those who volunteered to live in Jerusalem.
3 Estos son los jefes de la provincia que se establecieron en Jerusalén, y en las otras ciudades de Judá. Así, todo Israel, los sacerdotes, los levitas, los empleados del Templo y los hijos de los servidores de Salomón, vivían en sus respectivas ciudades, cada uno en su propiedad.	3 In the towns of Judah each man lived on his own property, but these are the provincial leaders, theIsraelites, the priests, the Levites, the temple slaves and the descendants of Solomon's slaves, who made theirhomes in Jerusalem:
4 En Jerusalén vivían hijos de Judá e hijos de Benjamín. De los hijos de Judá: Atalías, hijo de Uzías, hijo de Zacarías, hijo de Amarías, hijo de Sefatías, hijo de Mahalalel, de los descendientes de Peres;	4 Of the sons of Judah and the sons of Benjamin who made their homes in Jerusalem there were: Ofthe sons of Judah: Athaiah son of Uzziah, son of Zechariah, son of Amariah, son of Shephatiah, son ofMehalalel, of the descendants of Perez;

13 y sus hermanos, jefes de familia: en total, 242; y Amasái, hijo de Azarel, hijo de Ajzái, hijo de Mesilemot, hijo de Imer,	13 and his kinsfolk, heads of families: two hundred and forty-two; and Amashai son of Azarel, son ofAhzai, son of Meshil emoth, son of Immer,
14 y sus hermanos, hombres aguerridos: en total 128. Zabdiel, hijo de Haguedolím, estaba al frente de ellos.	14 and his kinsfolk, outstanding people: one hundred and twenty-eight. Their chief was Zabdiel son ofHaggadol.
15 De los levitas: Semaías, hijo de Jasub, hijo de Azricam, hijo de Jasabías, hijo de Buní;	15 Of the Levites there were Shemaiah son of Hasshub, son of Azrikam, son of Hashabiah, son ofBunni;

31 Los hijos de Benjamín vivían en Gueba, Micmás, Aiá, Betel y sus poblados;	31 And some Benjaminites made their homes in Geba, Michmash, Aija, Bethel and its dependencies,
32 en Anatot, Nob, Anaías,	32 Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,
33 Jasor, Ramá, Guitaim,	33 Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,
34 Jadid, Seboím, Nebalat,	34 Hadid, Zeboim, Nebal at,
35 Lod, Onó y el valle de los Artesanos.	35 Lod, Ono and the Valley of Craftsmen.
