Salmos 94

BIBLIA	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 ¡Dios de las venganzas, Yahveh, Dios de las venganzas, aparece!	1 O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.
2 ¡Levántate, juez de la tierra, da su merecido a los soberbios!	2 Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.
3 ¿Hasta cuándo los impíos, Yahveh, hasta cuándo triunfarán los impíos?	3 LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?
4 Cacarean, dicen insolencias, se pavonean todos los agentes de mal.	4 How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?
5 A tu pueblo, Yahveh, aplastan, a tu heredad humillan.	5 They break in pieces thy people, O LORD, and afflict thine heritage.
6 Matan al forastero y a la viuda, asesinan al huérfano.	6 They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.
7 Y dicen: «No lo ve Yahveh, el Dios de Jacob no se da cuenta».	7 Yet they say, The LORD shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.
8 ¡Comprended, estúpidos del pueblo!, insensatos, ¿cuándo vais a ser cuerdos?	8 Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise?
9 El que plantó la oreja, ¿no va a oír? El que formó los ojos, ¿no ha de ver?	9 He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?
10 El que corrige a las naciones, ¿no ha de castigar? El que el saber al hombre enseña,	10 He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know?
11 Yahveh, conoce los pensamientos del hombre, que no son más que un soplo.	11 The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.
12 Dichoso el hombre a quien corriges tú, Yahveh, a quien instruyes por tu ley,	12 Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O LORD, and teachest him out of thy law;
13 para darle descanso en los días de desgracia, mientras se cava para el impío la fosa.	13 That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.
14 Pues Yahveh no dejará a su pueblo, no abandonará a su heredad;	14 For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.
15 sino que el juicio volverá a la justicia, y en pos de ella todos los de recto corazón.	15 But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.
16 ¿Quién se alzará por mí contra los malvados? ¿quién estará por mí contra los agentes de mal?	16 Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?
17 Si Yahveh no viniese en mi ayuda, bien presto mi alma moraría en el silencio.	17 Unless the LORD had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.
18 Cuando digo: «Vacila mi pie», tu amor, Yahveh, me sostiene;	18 When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O LORD, held me up.
19 en el colmo de mis cuitas interiores, tus consuelos recrean mi alma.	19 In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.
20 ¿Eres aliado tú de un tribunal de perdición, que erige en ley la tiranía?	20 Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?
21 Se atropella la vida del justo, la sangre inocente se condena.	21 They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.
22 Mas Yahveh es para mí una ciudadela, mi Dios la roca de mi amparo;	22 But the LORD is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge.
23 él hará recaer sobre ellos su maldad, los aniquilará por su malicia, Yahveh, nuestro Dios, los aniquilará.	23 And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off.
