Isaiah (ישעיה) - Isaia 142

STUTTGARTENSIA-DELITZSCH	NEW JERUSALEM
1 מַשְׂכִּיל לְדָוִד בִּהְיֹותֹו בַמְּעָרָה תְפִלָּה	1 [Psalm Of David When he was in the cave Prayer] To Yahweh I cry out with my plea. To Yahweh Icry out with entreaty.
2 קֹולִי אֶל־יְהוָה אֶזְעָק קֹולִי אֶל־יְהוָה אֶתְחַנָּן	2 I pour out my worry in his presence, in his presence I unfold my troubles.
3 אֶשְׁפֹּךְ לְפָנָיו שִׂיחִי צָרָתִי לְפָנָיו אַגִּיד	3 However faint my spirit; you are watching over my path. On the road I have to travel they havehidden a trap for me.
4 בְּהִתְעַטֵּף עָלַי ׀ רוּחִי וְאַתָּה יָדַעְתָּ נְתִיבָתִי בְּאֹרַח־זוּ אֲהַלֵּךְ טָמְנוּ פַח לִי	4 Look on my right and see -- there is no one who recognises me. Al refuge is denied me, no onecares whether I live or die.
5 הַבֵּיט יָמִין ׀ וּרְאֵה וְאֵין־לִי מַכִּיר אָבַד מָנֹוס מִמֶּנִּי אֵין דֹּורֵשׁ לְנַפְשִׁי	5 I cry out to you, Yahweh, I affirm, 'You are my refuge, my share in the land of the living!'
6 זָעַקְתִּי אֵלֶיךָ יְהוָה אָמַרְתִּי אַתָּה מַחְסִי חֶלְקִי בְּאֶרֶץ הַחַיִּים	6 Listen to my cal ing, for I am miserably weak. Rescue me from my persecutors, for they are toostrong for me.
7 הַקְשִׁיבָה ׀ אֶל־רִנָּתִי כִּי־דַלֹּותִי מְאֹד הַצִּילֵנִי מֵרֹדְפַי כִּי אָמְצוּ מִמֶּנִּי	7 Lead me out of prison that I may praise your name. The upright gather round me because of yourgenerosity to me.
8 הֹוצִיאָה מִמַּסְגֵּר ׀ נַפְשִׁי לְהֹודֹות אֶת־שְׁמֶךָ בִּי יַכְתִּרוּ צַדִּיקִים כִּי תִגְמֹל עָלָי
