Isaia (اشعياء) 31

SMITH VAN DYKE	NEW JERUSALEM
1 ويل للذين ينزلون الى مصر للمعونة ويستندون على الخيل ويتوكلون على المركبات لانها كثيرة وعلى الفرسان لانهم اقوياء جدا ولا ينظرون الى قدوس اسرائيل ولا يطلبون الرب.	1 Woe to those going down to Egypt for help, who put their trust in horses, who rely on the quantity ofchariots, and on great strength of cavalrymen, but do not look to the Holy One of Israel or consult Yahweh.
2 وهو ايضا حكيم وياتي بالشر ولا يرجع بكلامه ويقوم على بيت فاعلي الشر وعلى معونة فاعلي الاثم.	2 Yet he too is wise and can bring disaster and he wil not go back on his word; he wil rise against thebreed of evil-doers and against those who protect wrong-doers.
3 واما المصريون فهم اناس لا آلهة وخيلهم جسد لا روح والرب يمد يده فيعثر المعين ويسقط المعان ويفنيان كلاهما معا	3 The Egyptian is human, not divine, his horses are flesh, not spirit; Yahweh wil stretch out his hand: theprotector wil stumble, the protected wil fal and all wil perish together.
4 لانه هكذا قال لي الرب كما يهر فوق فريسته الاسد والشبل الذي يدعى عليه جماعة من الرعاة وهو لا يرتاع من صوتهم ولا يتذلل لجمهورهم هكذا ينزل رب الجنود للمحاربة عن جبل صهيون وعن اكمتها.	4 Yes, this is what Yahweh has said to me: As a lion or lion cub growls over its prey, when scores ofshepherds are summoned to drive it off, without being frightened by their shouting or cowed by the noise theymake, just so will Yahweh Sabaoth descend to fight for Mount Zion and for its hil .
5 كطيور مرفّة هكذا يحامي رب الجنود عن اورشليم يحامي فينقذ يعفو فينجي	5 Like hovering birds, so wil Yahweh Sabaoth protect Jerusalem; by protecting it, he will save it, bysupporting it, he wil deliver it.
6 ارجعوا الى الذي ارتد بنو اسرائيل عنه متعمقين.	6 Come back to the one whom the Israelites have so deeply betrayed!
7 لان في ذلك اليوم يرفضون كل واحد اوثان فضته واوثان ذهبه التي صنعتها لكم ايديكم خطيئة.	7 For, that day, each of you wil throw away the false gods of silver and the false gods of gold which yourown sinful hands have made.
8 ويسقط اشور بسيف غير رجل وسيف غير انسان ياكله فيهرب من امام السيف ويكون مختاروه تحت الجزية	8 Assyria will fal by the sword, not that of a man, wil be devoured by the sword, of no human being, hewil flee before the sword and his young warriors will be enslaved.
9 وصخره من الخوف يزول ومن الراية يرتعب رؤساؤه يقول الرب الذي له نار في صهيون وله تنور في اورشليم	9 In his terror he wil abandon his rock, and his panic-stricken officers desert the standard -- declaresYahweh, whose fire is in Zion, whose furnace, in Jerusalem.
