9 Os que trabalham o linho ficarão decepcionados, os cardadores e os tecelães serão confundidos, | 9 The workers of carded flax and the weavers of white cloth wil be confounded, |

18 Naquele tempo, haverá no Egito cinco cidades que falarão a língua de Canaã e jurarão pelo Senhor dos exércitos. Uma delas será chamada a Cidade do Sol. | 18 That day in Egypt there wil be five towns speaking the language of Canaan and pledging themselvesto Yahweh Sabaoth; one of them will be cal ed City of the Sun. |
19 Naquele tempo, haverá um altar erguido ao Senhor, em pleno Egito, e, em suas fronteiras, um obelisco dedicado ao Senhor. | 19 That day there wil be an altar dedicated to Yahweh in the centre of Egypt and, close to the frontier, apil ar dedicated to Yahweh, |
20 E eles servirão de monumento ao Senhor na terra do Egito. Quando maltratados pelos opressores, invocarão o Senhor, e ele lhes enviará um salvador, um defensor que os libertará. | 20 and this will be a sign and a witness to Yahweh Sabaoth in Egypt. When they cry to Yahweh for helpbecause of oppressors, he wil send them a Saviour and leader to deliver them. |
21 O Senhor se dará a conhecer ao Egito, os egípcios conhecerão o Senhor naquele tempo, e lhe oferecerão sacrifícios e oblações; farão votos ao Senhor e os cumprirão. | 21 Yahweh will reveal himself to Egypt, and the Egyptians wil acknowledge Yahweh that day and wiloffer sacrifices and cereal offerings, and wil make vows to Yahweh and perform them. |
22 Quando o Senhor ferir os egípcios, será para curá-los; eles se voltarão para o Senhor, que se deixará aplacar e os curará. | 22 And if Yahweh strikes Egypt, having struck he wil heal, and they wil turn to Yahweh who wil heartheir prayers and heal them. |
23 Naquele tempo, haverá um caminho do Egito para a Assíria; os assírios irão ao Egito, e os egípcios, à Assíria. O Egito e a Assíria renderão culto ao Senhor. | 23 That day there wil be a highway from Egypt to Assyria. Assyria will have access to Egypt and Egypthave access to Assyria. Egypt wil serve with Assyria. |
24 Naquele tempo, Israel será, como terceiro, aliado ao Egito e à Assíria, objeto da bênção no meio da terra | 24 That day Israel will make a third with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing at the centre of the world, |
25 Que o Senhor dos exércitos abençoará nestes termos: Bendito seja meu povo do Egito, a Assíria, obra de minhas mãos, e Israel, minha herança! | 25 and Yahweh Sabaoth wil bless them in the words, 'Blessed be my people Egypt, Assyria my creation,and Israel my heritage.' |
