Revelation 14

1 And I saw, and behold, the Lamb was standing above mount Zion, and with him were one hundred and forty-four thousand, having his name and the name of his Father written on their foreheads.	1 Poi guardai ed ecco l'Agnello ritto sul monte Sion e insieme centoquarantaquattromila persone che recavano scritto sulla fronte il suo nome e il nome del Padre suo.
2 And I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of a great thunder. And the voice that I heard was like that of singers, while playing on their stringed instruments.	2 Udii una voce che veniva dal cielo, come un fragore di grandi acque e come un rimbombo di forte tuono. La voce che udii era come quella di suonatori di arpa che si accompagnano nel canto con le loro arpe.
3 And they were singing what seemed like a new canticle before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. And no one was able to recite the canticle, except those one hundred and forty-four thousand, who were redeemed from the earth.	3 Essi cantavano un cantico nuovo davanti al trono e davanti ai quattro esseri viventi e ai vegliardi. E nessuno poteva comprendere quel cantico se non i centoquarantaquattromila, i redenti della terra.
4 These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are Virgins. These follow the Lamb wherever he will go. These were redeemed from men as the first-fruits for God and for the Lamb.	4 Questi non si sono contaminati con donne, sono infatti vergini e seguono l'Agnello dovunque va. Essi sono stati redenti tra gli uomini come primizie per Dio e per l'Agnello.
5 And in their mouth, no lie was found, for they are without flaw before the throne of God.	5 Non fu trovata menzogna sulla loro bocca; sono senza macchia.
6 And I saw another Angel, flying through the midst of heaven, holding the eternal Gospel, so as to evangelize those sitting upon the earth and those of every nation and tribe and language and people,	6 Poi vidi un altro angelo che volando in mezzo al cielo recava un vangelo eterno da annunziare agli abitanti della terra e ad ogni nazione, razza, lingua e popolo.
7 saying with a loud voice: “Fear the Lord, and give honor to him, for the hour of his judgment has arrived. And worship him who made heaven and earth, the sea and the sources of water.”	7 Egli gridava a gran voce: "Temete Dio e dategli gloria, perché è giunta l'ora del suo giudizio. Adorate colui che ha fatto il cielo e la terra, il mare e le sorgenti delle acque".
8 And another Angel followed, saying: “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, who inebriated all nations with the wine of her wrath and of fornication.”	8 Un secondo angelo lo seguì gridando: "È caduta, è caduta Babilonia la grande, quella che ha abbeverato tutte le genti col vino del furore della sua fornicazione".
9 And the third Angel followed them, saying with a great voice: “If anyone has worshiped the beast, or his image, or has received his character on his forehead or on his hand,	9 Poi, un terzo angelo li seguì gridando a gran voce: "Chiunque adora la bestia e la sua statua e ne riceve il marchio sulla fronte o sulla mano,
10 he shall drink also from the wine of the wrath of God, which has been mixed with strong wine in the cup of his wrath, and he shall be tortured with fire and sulphur in the sight of the holy Angels and before the sight of the Lamb.	10 berrà il vino dell'ira di Dio che è versato puro nella coppa della sua ira e sarà torturato con fuoco e zolfo al cospetto degli angeli santi e dell'Agnello.
11 And the smoke of their torments shall ascend forever and ever. And they shall have no rest, day or night, those who have worshiped the beast or his image, or who have received the character of his name.”	11 Il fumo del loro tormento salirà per i secoli dei secoli, e non avranno riposo né giorno né notte quanti adorano la bestia e la sua statua e chiunque riceve il marchio del suo nome".
12 Here is the patient endurance of the Saints, those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.	12 Qui appare la costanza dei santi, che osservano i comandamenti di Dio e la fede in Gesù.
13 And I heard a voice from heaven, saying to me: “Write: Blessed are the dead, who die in the Lord, now and hereafter, says the Spirit, so that they may find rest from their labors. For their works follow them.”	13 Poi udii una voce dal cielo che diceva: "Scrivi: Beati d'ora in poi, i morti che muoiono nel Signore. Sì, dice lo Spirito, riposeranno dalle loro fatiche, perché le loro opere li seguono".
14 And I saw, and behold, a white cloud. And upon the cloud was one sitting, resembling a son of man, having a crown of gold on his head, and a sharp sickle in his hand.	14 Io guardai ancora ed ecco una nube bianca e sulla nube uno stava seduto, simile a un Figlio d'uomo; aveva sul capo una corona d'oro e in mano una falce affilata.
15 And another Angel went forth from the temple, crying out in a great voice to the one sitting upon the cloud: “Send out your sickle and reap! For the hour of reaping has arrived, because the harvest of the earth has ripened.”	15 Un altro angelo uscì dal tempio, gridando a gran voce a colui che era seduto sulla nube: "Getta la tua falce e mieti; è giunta l'ora di mietere, perché la messe della terra è matura".
16 And the one who was sitting upon the cloud sent out his sickle to the earth, and the earth was reaped.	16 Allora colui che era seduto sulla nuvola gettò la sua falce sulla terra e la terra fu mietuta.
17 And another Angel went forth from the temple that is in heaven; he also had a sharp sickle.	17 Allora un altro angelo uscì dal tempio che è nel cielo, anch'egli tenendo una falce affilata.
18 And another Angel went forth from the altar, who held power over fire. And he cried out in a great voice to him who held the sharp sickle, saying: “Send out your sharp sickle, and harvest the clusters of grapes from the vineyard of the earth, because its grapes have matured.”	18 Un altro angelo, che ha potere sul fuoco, uscì dall'altare e gridò a gran voce a quello che aveva la falce affilata: "Getta la tua falce affilata e vendemmia i grappoli della vigna della terra, perché le sue uve sono mature".
19 And the Angel sent out his sharp sickle to the earth, and he harvested the vineyard of the earth, and he cast it into the great basin of the wrath of God.	19 L'angelo gettò la sua falce sulla terra, vendemmiò la vigna della terra e gettò l'uva nel grande tino dell'ira di Dio.
20 And the basin was trodden beyond the city, and blood went forth from the basin, even as high as the harnesses of horses, out to one thousand six hundred stadia.	20 Il tino fu pigiato fuori della città e dal tino uscì sangue fino al morso dei cavalli, per una distanza di duecento miglia.
