1 Joshua was old and advanced in age, and the Lord said to him: “You have grown old, and are aged, and a very wide land remains, which has not yet been divided by lot,	1 Josué era ya viejo y entrado en años. 2 specifically, all of Galilee, Philistia, and all of Geshur;	2 Esta es la tierra que queda: «Todos los distritos de los filisteos y todo lo de los guesuritas;
3 from the muddy river, which irrigates Egypt, as far as the border of Ekron toward the north, the land of Canaan, which is divided among the rulers of Philistia: the Gazites, and the Ashdodites, the Ashkelonites, the Gathites, and the Ekronites;	3 desde Sijor, que esta al lado de Egipto, hasta el límite de Ecron por el norte, es considerado como de los cananeos. 6 all who live in the mountains from Lebanon, as far as the waters of Misrephoth, and all the Sidonians. I am the One who will wipe them out, before the face of the sons of Israel. Therefore, let their land become a part of the inheritance of Israel, just as I have instructed you.	6 «Yo arrojaré de la presencia de los israelitas a todos los habitantes de la montaña, desde el Líbano hasta Misrefot al occidente: a todos los sidonios. Tú solamente reparte por suertes la tierra como heredad entre los israelitas, según te he ordenado.
7 And now, divide the land as a possession to the nine tribes, and to the one half tribe of Manasseh.”	7 Reparte ya esta tierra como heredad entre las nueve tribus y la media tribu de Manasés: se la darás desde el Jordán hasta el mar Grande de occidente; el mar Grande será su límite».
8 With them, Reuben and Gad have possessed the land, which Moses, the servant of the Lord, delivered to them beyond the river Jordan, on the eastern side:	8 La otra nedia tribu de Manasés, junto con los rubenitas y los gaditas, había recibido ya la parte de la heredad que Moisés les había dado al lado oriental del Jordán, como Moisés, siervo de Yahveh, les había dado:
9 from Aroer, which is situated on the bank of the torrent Arnon and in the midst of the valley, and all the plains of Medeba, as far as Dibon;	9 la tierra desde Aroer, que está a orillas del torrente Arnón, y la ciudad que está en medio de la vaguada: y toda la llanura desde Medbá hasta Dibón;
10 and all the cities of Sihon, the king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, even to the borders of the sons of Ammon;	10 todas las ciudades de Sijón, rey de los amorreos, que había reinado en Jesbón, hasta la frontera de los ammonitas.
11 and Gilead, as well as the borders of Geshur and Maacati, and all of mount Hermon, and all of Bashan, as far as Salecah;	11 Además, Galaad y el territorio de los guesuritas y los maakatitas con toda la montaña del Hermón y todo Basán hasta Salká;
12 the entire kingdom of Og in Bashan, who reigned at Ashtaroth and Edrei, (he was among the last of the Rephaim). And Moses struck and destroyed them.	12 y dentro de Basán todo el reino de Og, que había reinado en Astarot y en Edreí, y era último residuo de los Refaím. Moisés los había batido y desposeído.
13 And the sons of Israel were not willing to destroy Geshur and Maacati, and so they have lived in the midst of Israel, even to the present day.	13 Pero los israelitas no desposeyeron ni a los guesuritas ni a los maakatitas, de manera que Guesur y Maaká siguen todavía hoy habitando en medio de Israel.
14 But to the tribe of Levi, he did not give a possession. Instead, the sacrifices and victims of the Lord, the God of Israel, these are his inheritance, just as he spoke to him.	14 La tribu de Leví fue la única a la que no se dio heredad: Yahveh, Dios de Israel, fue su heredad, como se lo había dicho.
15 Therefore, Moses gave a possession to the tribe of the sons of Reuben, according to their families.	15 Moisés había dado a la tribu de los hijos de Rubén una parte por clanes.
16 And their border was from Aroer, which is situated on the bank of the torrent Arnon, and in the midst of the valley of the same torrent, with all the flatlands that lead to Medeba;	16 Su territorio fue desde Aroer, que está a orillas del torrente Arnón, incluida la ciudad que está en medio de la vaguada, y todo el llano hasta Medbá;

20 Bethpeor, and the descending slopes of Pisgah, and Beth-jeshimoth;	20 Bet Peor, las laderas del Pisgá, Bet Hayesimot,
21 and all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdoms of Sihon, the king of the Amorites, who reigned at Heshbon, whom Moses struck down with the leaders of Midian: Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, the commanders of Sihon, inhabitants of the land.	21 todas las ciudades del llano y todo el reino de Sijón, rey de los amorreos, que reinó en Jesbón y a quien venció Moisés, igual que a los príncipes de Madián: Eví, Réquem, Sur, Jur, Rebá, vasallos de Sijón, que habitaban en el país.
22 And the sons of Israel killed Balaam, the son of Beor, the seer, with the sword, along with the others who were slain.	22 Al adivino Balaam, hijo de Beor, los israelitas lo habían pasado a cuchillo con otras víctimas.
23 And the river Jordan was made the border of the sons of Reuben; this is the possession of the Reubenites, by their families, in cities and villages.	23 Así el territorio de los rubenitas llegaba hasta el Jordán. Esta fue la heredad de los hijos de Rubén por clanes: las ciudades y sus aldeas.
24 And Moses gave to the tribe of Gad and his sons, by their families, a possession, of which this is the division:	24 A la tribu de Gad, a los hijos de Gad, había dado Moisés una parte conforme a sus clanes.
25 the border of Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and one half part of the land of the sons of Ammon, as far as Aroer, which is opposite Rabbah;	25 Su territorio fue Yazer, todas las ciudades de Galaad, la mitad del país de los ammonitas hasta Aroer, que está enfrente de Rabbá,
26 and from Heshbon as far as Ramath, Mizpeh, and Betonim; and from Mahanaim as far as the borders of Debir;	26 y desde Jesbón hasta Ramat Hammispá y Betonim, y desde Majanáyim hasta el territorio de Lo Debar;
27 also, in the valley Beth-haram and Beth-nimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the remaining part of the kingdom of Sihon, the king of Heshbon; the limit of this also is the Jordan, as far as the furthest part of the sea of Chinnereth, beyond the Jordan on the eastern side.	27 y en el valle: Bet Jaram, Bet Nimrá, Sukkot, Safón - el resto del reino de Sijón, rey de Jesbón -, el Jordán y el territorio hasta la punta del mar de Kinnéret, al lado oriental del Jordán.
28 This is the possession of the sons of Gad, by their families, in their cities and villages.	28 Esta fue la heredad de los hijos de Gad por clanes: las ciudades y sus aldeas.
29 He also gave, to the one half tribe of Manasseh and to his sons, a possession according to their families,	29 A la media tribu de Manasés le había dado Moisés una parte conforme a sus clanes.
30 the beginning of which is this: from Mahanaim, all of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Og, the king of Bashan, and all the villages of Jair, which are in Bashan, sixty towns;	30 Su territorio comprendía, desde Majanáyim, todo el Basán, todos los Aduares de Yaír en Basán: sesenta ciudades;
31 and one half part of Gilead, and Ashtaroth, and Edrei, the cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, to the sons of Machir, the son of Manasseh, to one half part of the sons of Machir, according to their families.	31 la mitad de Galaad, Astarot y Edreí, ciudades del reino de Og en Basán. Pasaron a ser de los hijos de Makir, hijo de Manasés, de la mitad de los hijos de Makir por clanes.
32 Moses divided this possession, in the plains of Moab, beyond the Jordan, opposite Jericho on the eastern side.	32 Esto fue lo que repartió en heredad Moisés en las Estepas de Moab, al otro lado del Jordán, al oriente de Jericó.
33 But to the tribe of Levi he did not give a possession. For the Lord, the God of Israel, is himself their possession, just as he spoke to him.	33 Pero Moisés no dio heredad a la tribu de Leví: Yahveh, el Dios de Israel, es su heredad, como se lo había dicho.
