Galatians 6

1 And, brothers, if a man has been overtaken by any offense, you who are spiritual should instruct someone like this with a spirit of leniency, considering that you yourselves might also be tempted.	1 Fratelli, se uno viene sorpreso in qualche colpa, voi, che avete lo Spirito, correggetelo con spirito di dolcezza. E tu vigila su te stesso, per non essere tentato anche tu.
2 Carry one another’s burdens, and so shall you fulfill the law of Christ.	2 Portate i pesi gli uni degli altri: così adempirete la legge di Cristo.
3 For if anyone considers himself to be something, though he may be nothing, he deceives himself.	3 Se infatti uno pensa di essere qualcosa, mentre non è nulla, inganna se stesso.
4 So let each one prove his own work. And in this way, he shall have glory in himself only, and not in another.	4 Ciascuno esamini invece la propria condotta e allora troverà motivo di vanto solo in se stesso e non in rapporto agli altri.
5 For each one shall carry his own burden.	5 Ciascuno infatti porterà il proprio fardello.
6 And let him who is being taught the Word discuss it with him who is teaching it to him, in every good way.	6 Chi viene istruito nella Parola, condivida tutti i suoi beni con chi lo istruisce.
7 Do not choose to wander astray. God is not to be ridiculed.	7 Non fatevi illusioni: Dio non si lascia ingannare. Ciascuno raccoglierà quello che avrà seminato.
8 For whatever a man will have sown, that also shall he reap. For whoever sows in his flesh, from the flesh he shall also reap corruption. But whoever sows in the Spirit, from the Spirit he shall reap eternal life.	8 Chi semina nella sua carne, dalla carne raccoglierà corruzione; chi semina nello Spirito, dallo Spirito raccoglierà vita eterna.
9 And so, let us not be deficient in doing good. For in due time, we shall reap without fail.	9 E non stanchiamoci di fare il bene; se infatti non desistiamo, a suo tempo mieteremo.
10 Therefore, while we have time, we should do good works toward everyone, and most of all toward those who are of the household of the faith.	10 Poiché dunque ne abbiamo l’occasione, operiamo il bene verso tutti, soprattutto verso i fratelli nella fede.
11 Consider what kind of letters I have written to you with my own hand.	11 Vedete con che grossi caratteri vi scrivo, di mia mano.
12 For as many of you as they desire to please in the flesh, they compel to be circumcised, but only so that they might not suffer the persecution of the cross of Christ.	12 Quelli che vogliono fare bella figura nella carne, vi costringono a farvi circoncidere, solo per non essere perseguitati a causa della croce di Cristo.
13 And yet, neither do they themselves, who are circumcised, keep the law. Instead, they want you to be circumcised, so that they may glory in your flesh.	13 Infatti neanche gli stessi circoncisi osservano la Legge, ma vogliono la vostra circoncisione per trarre vanto dalla vostra carne.
14 But far be it from me to glory, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom the world is crucified to me, and I to the world.	14 Quanto a me invece non ci sia altro vanto che nella croce del Signore nostro Gesù Cristo, per mezzo della quale il mondo per me è stato crocifisso, come io per il mondo.
15 For in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision prevails in any way, but instead there is a new creature.	15 Non è infatti la circoncisione che conta, né la non circoncisione, ma l’essere nuova creatura.
16 And whoever follows this rule: may peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God.	16 E su quanti seguiranno questa norma sia pace e misericordia, come su tutto l’Israele di Dio.
17 Concerning other matters, let no one trouble me. For I carry the stigmata of the Lord Jesus in my body.	17 D’ora innanzi nessuno mi procuri fastidi: io porto le stigmate di Gesù sul mio corpo.
18 May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers. Amen.	18 La grazia del Signore nostro Gesù Cristo sia con il vostro spirito, fratelli. Amen.
