Deuteronomy 14

1 “Be sons of the Lord your God. You shall not cut yourselves, nor make yourselves bald, because of the dead.	1 υιοι εστε κυριου του θεου υμων ου φοιβησετε ουκ επιθησετε φαλακρωμα ανα μεσον των οφθαλμων υμων επι νεκρω
2 For you are a holy people, for the Lord your God. And he chose you, so that you may be a people particularly his, out of all the nations on earth.	2 οτι λαος αγιος ει κυριω τω θεω σου και σε εξελεξατο κυριος ο θεος σου γενεσθαι σε αυτω λαον περιουσιον απο παντων των εθνων των επι προσωπου της γης
3 You shall not eat the things that are unclean.	3 ου φαγεσθε παν βδελυγμα
4 These are the animals which you ought to eat: the ox, and the sheep, and the goat,	4 ταυτα τα κτηνη α φαγεσθε μοσχον εκ βοων και αμνον εκ προβατων και χιμαρον εξ αιγων
5 the stag and the roe deer, the gazelle, the wild goat, the addax, the antelope, the giraffe.	5 ελαφον και δορκαδα και βουβαλον και τραγελαφον και πυγαργον ορυγα και καμηλοπαρδαλιν
6 Every beast which has a hoof divided into two parts and which also chews the cud, you shall eat.	6 παν κτηνος διχηλουν οπλην και ονυχιστηρας ονυχιζον δυο χηλων και αναγον μηρυκισμον εν τοις κτηνεσιν ταυτα φαγεσθε
7 But those which chew over again, but do not have a divided hoof, you must not eat, such as the camel, the hare, and the hyrax. Since these chew the cud, but do not have a divided the hoof, they shall be unclean to you.	7 και ταυτα ου φαγεσθε απο των αναγοντων μηρυκισμον και απο των διχηλουντων τας οπλας και ονυχιζοντων ονυχιστηρας τον καμηλον και δασυποδα και χοιρογρυλλιον οτι αναγουσιν μηρυκισμον και οπλην ου διχηλουσιν ακαθαρτα ταυτα υμιν εστιν
8 The pig also, since it has a divided hoof, but does not chew over again, shall be unclean. Their flesh shall not be eaten, and you shall not touch their carcasses.	8 και τον υν οτι διχηλει οπλην τουτο και ονυχιζει ονυχας οπλης και τουτο μηρυκισμον ου μαρυκαται ακαθαρτον τουτο υμιν απο των κρεων αυτων ου φαγεσθε και των θνησιμαιων αυτων ουχ αψεσθε
9 These you shall eat out of all that dwells in the waters: whatever has fins and scales, you shall eat.	9 και ταυτα φαγεσθε απο παντων των εν τοις υδασιν παντα οσα εστιν εν αυτοις πτερυγια και λεπιδες φαγεσθε
10 Whatever is without fins and scales, you shall not eat, for these are unclean.	10 και παντα οσα ουκ εστιν αυτοις πτερυγια και λεπιδες ου φαγεσθε ακαθαρτα υμιν εστιν
11 All the clean birds, you shall eat.	11 παν ορνεον καθαρον φαγεσθε
12 You shall not eat those that are unclean: such as the eagle, and the griffin, and the osprey,	12 και ταυτα ου φαγεσθε απ' αυτων τον αετον και τον γρυπα και τον αλιαιετον
13 the crane, and the vulture, and the kite, according to their kind,	13 και τον γυπα και τον ικτινα και τα ομοια αυτω
14 and any kind of raven,	14 και παντα κορακα και τα ομοια αυτω
15 and the ostrich, and the owl, and the gull, and the hawk, according to their kind,	15 και στρουθον και γλαυκα και λαρον
16 the heron, and the swan, and the ibis,	16 και ερωδιον και κυκνον και ιβιν
17 and the sea bird, the marsh hen, and the night raven,	17 και καταρακτην και ιερακα και τα ομοια αυτω και εποπα και νυκτικορακα
18 the pelican and the plover, each in their kind, likewise the crested hoopoe and the bat.	18 και πελεκανα και χαραδριον και τα ομοια αυτω και πορφυριωνα και νυκτεριδα
19 And anything which crawls and also has little wings shall be unclean, and shall not be eaten.	19 παντα τα ερπετα των πετεινων ακαθαρτα ταυτα εστιν υμιν ου φαγεσθε απ' αυτων
20 All that is clean, you shall eat.	20 παν πετεινον καθαρον φαγεσθε
21 But whatever has died of itself, you shall not eat from it. Give it to the sojourner, who is within your gates, so that he may eat, or sell it to him. For you are the holy people of the Lord your God. You shall not boil a young goat in the milk of his mother.	21 παν θνησιμαιον ου φαγεσθε τω παροικω τω εν ταις πολεσιν σου δοθησεται και φαγεται η αποδωση τω αλλοτριω οτι λαος αγιος ει κυριω τω θεω σου ουχ εψησεις αρνα εν γαλακτι μητρος αυτου
22 Each year, you shall separate the tithes out of all your crops which spring forth from the earth.	22 δεκατην αποδεκατωσεις παντος γενηματος του σπερματος σου το γενημα του αγρου σου ενιαυτον κατ' ενιαυτον
23 And you shall eat these in the sight of the Lord your God, in the place which he will choose, so that his name may be invoked there: the tenth part of your grain and wine and oil, and the firstborn from the herds and your sheep. So may you learn to fear the Lord your God at all times.	23 και φαγη αυτο εναντι κυριου του θεου σου εν τω τοπω ω αν εκλεξηται κυριος ο θεος σου επικληθηναι το ονομα αυτου εκει οισετε τα επιδεκατα του σιτου σου και του οινου σου και του ελαιου σου τα πρωτοτοκα των βοων σου και των προβατων σου ινα μαθης φοβεισθαι κυριον τον θεον σου πασας τας ημερας
24 But when the way and the place which the Lord your God will have chosen is further away, and he will have blessed you, so that you are not able to carry all these things to it,	24 εαν δε μακραν γενηται απο σου η οδος και μη δυνη αναφερειν αυτα οτι μακραν απο σου ο τοπος ον αν εκλεξηται κυριος ο θεος σου επικληθηναι το ονομα αυτου εκει οτι ευλογησει σε κυριος ο θεος σου
25 you shall sell them all, so as to turn them into money, and you shall carry it in your hand, and you shall set out for the place which the Lord will choose.	25 και αποδωση αυτα αργυριου και λημψη το αργυριον εν ταις χερσιν σου και πορευση εις τον τοπον ον αν εκλεξηται κυριος ο θεος σου αυτον
26 And you shall buy with the same money whatever pleases you, either from the herds or from the sheep, and also wine and liquor, and all that your soul desires. And you shall eat in the sight of the Lord your God, and you shall feast: you and your household.	26 και δωσεις το αργυριον επι παντος ου εαν επιθυμη η ψυχη σου επι βουσι η επι προβατοις επι οινω η επι σικερα η επι παντος ου εαν επιθυμη η ψυχη σου και φαγη εκει εναντιον κυριου του θεου σου και ευφρανθηση συ και ο οικος σου
27 As for the Levite, who is within your gates, take care that you do not abandon him, for he has no other portion within your possession.	27 και ο λευιτης ο εν ταις πολεσιν σου οτι ουκ εστιν αυτω μερις ουδε κληρος μετα σου
28 In the third year, you shall separate another tenth part of all the things which spring forth for you at that time, and you shall store it within your gates.	28 μετα τρια ετη εξοισεις παν το επιδεκατον των γενηματων σου εν τω ενιαυτω εκεινω θησεις αυτο εν ταις πολεσιν σου
29 And the Levite, who has no other portion or possession with you, and the sojourner as well as the orphan and the widow who are within your gates, shall approach and eat and be satisfied, so that the Lord your God may bless you in all the works of your hands which you shall do.”	29 και ελευσεται ο λευιτης οτι ουκ εστιν αυτω μερις ουδε κληρος μετα σου και ο προσηλυτος και ο ορφανος και η χηρα η εν ταις πολεσιν σου και φαγονται και εμπλησθησονται ινα ευλογηση σε κυριος ο θεος σου εν πασιν τοις εργοις οις εαν ποιης
