Leviticus 24

1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:	1 O Senhor disse a Moisés:
2 Instruct the sons of Israel, so that they may bring to you clear oil from the purest olives, in order to supply the lamps continuously	2 "Ordena aos israelitas que te tragam óleo puro de olivas esmagadas para manter, continuamente, acesas as lâmpadas do candelabro.
3 outside the veil of the testimony in the tabernacle of the covenant. And Aaron shall place these, from evening until morning, before the Lord, as a perpetual worship and ritual in your generations.	3 Aarão prepará-las-á fora do véu do testemunho, na tenda de reunião, a fim de que elas queimem continuamente, da tarde à manhã, diante do Senhor.
4 They shall be placed upon the most pure candlestick in the sight of the Lord always.	4 Disporá as lâmpadas no candelabro de ouro puro, para que queimem continuamente diante do Senhor.
5 You shall also receive fine wheat flour, and you shall bake twelve loaves from it, each loaf of which shall have two-tenths.	5 Tomarás também flor de farinha e farás com ela doze bolos cozidos, cada um dos quais com dois décimos de efá.
6 And you shall arrange them, six on each side, upon the most pure table before the Lord.	6 Dispô-los-ás em duas pilhas de seis na mesa de ouro puro diante do Senhor.
7 And you shall place upon them the clearest frankincense, so that the bread may be a memorial of oblation for the Lord.	7 Sobre cada pilha porás incenso puro, que será um memorial oferecido pelo fogo ao Senhor.
8 On each Sabbath, they shall be changed before the Lord, having been received from the sons of Israel as an everlasting covenant.	8 Colocar-se-ão esses pães diante do Senhor a cada sábado, continuamente, da parte dos israelitas: esta é uma aliança perpétua.
9 And they shall be for Aaron and his sons, so that they may eat these in the holy place; for it is the Holy of holies from the sacrifices of the Lord, as a perpetual right.	9 Esses pães serão propriedade de Aarão e de seus filhos, que os comerão no lugar santo; isso será para eles uma coisa santíssima entre as ofertas feitas pelo fogo ao Senhor. É uma lei perpétua."
10 Then, behold, the son of an Israelite woman, whom she had born of an Egyptian man among the sons of Israel, going out, was quarreling in the camp with a man of Israel.	10 O filho de uma mulher israelita, tendo por pai um egípcio, veio entre os israelitas. E, discutindo no acampamento com um deles,
11 And when he had blasphemed the name, and had cursed it, he was led to Moses. (Now his mother was called Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri from the tribe of Dan.)	11 o filho da mulher israelita blasfemou contra o santo nome e o amaldiçoou. Sua mãe chamava-se Salumite, filha de Dabri, da tribo de Dã.
12 And they sent him to prison, until they might know what the Lord would command,	12 Puseram-no em prisão até que Moisés tomasse uma decisão, segundo a ordem do Senhor."
13 who spoke to Moses,	13 Então o Senhor disse a Moisés:
14 saying: Lead away the blasphemer beyond the camp, and let all who heard him place their hands upon his head, and let the entire people stone him.	14 "Faze sair do acampamento o blasfemo, e todos aqueles que o ouviram ponham a mão sobre a sua cabeça, e toda a assembléia o apedreje.
15 And you shall say to the sons of Israel: The man who curses his God shall bear his sin,	15 Dirás aos israelitas: todo aquele que amaldiçoar o seu Deus levará o seu pecado.
16 and whoever will have blasphemed the name of the Lord shall be put to death. The entire multitude shall overwhelm him with stones, whether he be a citizen or a sojourner. Whoever blasphemes the name of the Lord shall be put to death.	16 Quem blasfemar o nome do Senhor será punido de morte: toda a assembléia o apedrejará. Quer seja ele estrangeiro ou natural, se blasfemar contra o santo nome, será punido de morte."
17 Whoever will have struck and killed a man shall be put to death.	17 "Todo aquele que ferir mortalmente um homem será morto.
18 Whoever will have struck down an animal shall repay its equivalent, that is, a life for a life.	18 Quem tiver ferido de morte um animal doméstico, dará outro em seu lugar: vida por vida.
19 Whoever will have inflicted a blemish on any of his citizens, just as he has done, so shall it be done to him:	19 Se um homem ferir o seu próximo, assim como fez, assim se lhe fará a ele:
20 fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, shall he repay. Whatever degree of blemish he has inflicted, so shall he be compelled to suffer.	20 fratura por fratura, olho por olho e dente por dente; ser-lhe-á feito o mesmo que ele fez ao seu próximo;
21 Whoever strikes down a beast, shall repay another. Whoever strikes a man shall be punished.	21 Quem matar um animal, restituirá outro, mas o que matar um homem será punido de morte.
22 Let there be equal judgment among you, whether it is a sojourner or a citizen who will have sinned. For I am the Lord your God.	22 Só haverá uma lei entre vós tanto para o estrangeiro como para o natural: porque eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus".
23 And Moses spoke to the sons of Israel. And they led away him who had blasphemed, beyond the camp, and they overwhelmed him with stones. And the sons of Israel did just as the Lord had instructed Moses.	23 Moisés transmitiu essas normas aos israelitas. Tiraram do acampamento o blasfemo e o apedrejaram, conforme a ordem que o Senhor tinha dado a Moisés.
