Psalms 43

1 Unto the end. To the sons of Korah, toward understanding.	1 εις το τελος τοις υιοις κορε εις συνεσιν ψαλμος
2 We have heard, O God, with our own ears. Our fathers have announced to us the work that you wrought in their days and in the days of antiquity.	2 ο θεος εν τοις ωσιν ημων ηκουσαμεν οι πατερες ημων ανηγγειλαν ημιν εργον ο ειργασω εν ταις ημεραις αυτων εν ημεραις αρχαιαις
3 Your hand dispersed the Gentiles, and you transplanted them. You afflicted a people, and you expelled them.	3 η χειρ σου εθνη εξωλεθρευσεν και κατεφυτευσας αυτους εκακωσας λαους και εξεβαλες αυτους
4 For they did not take possession of the land by their sword, and their own arm did not save them. But your right hand and your arm, and the light of your countenance did so, because you were pleased with them.	4 ου γαρ εν τη ρομφαια αυτων εκληρονομησαν γην και ο βραχιων αυτων ουκ εσωσεν αυτους αλλ' η δεξια σου και ο βραχιων σου και ο φωτισμος του προσωπου σου οτι ευδοκησας εν αυτοις
5 You yourself are my king and my God, who commands the salvation of Jacob.	5 συ ει αυτος ο βασιλευς μου και ο θεος μου ο εντελλομενος τας σωτηριας ιακωβ
6 With you, we will brandish a horn before our enemies; and in your name, we will spurn those rising up against us.	6 εν σοι τους εχθρους ημων κερατιουμεν και εν τω ονοματι σου εξουθενωσομεν τους επανιστανομενους ημιν
7 For I will not hope in my bow, and my sword will not save me.	7 ου γαρ επι τω τοξω μου ελπιω και η ρομφαια μου ου σωσει με
8 For you have saved us from those who afflict us, and you have bewildered those who hate us.	8 εσωσας γαρ ημας εκ των θλιβοντων ημας και τους μισουντας ημας κατησχυνας
9 In God, we will give praise all day long; and in your name, we will confess forever.	9 εν τω θεω επαινεσθησομεθα ολην την ημεραν και εν τω ονοματι σου εξομολογησομεθα εις τον αιωνα διαψαλμα
10 But now, you have rejected and bewildered us, and you will not go forth with our armies, O God.	10 νυνι δε απωσω και κατησχυνας ημας και ουκ εξελευση εν ταις δυναμεσιν ημων
11 You have turned our back to our enemies, and those who hated us have plundered for themselves.	11 απεστρεψας ημας εις τα οπισω παρα τους εχθρους ημων και οι μισουντες ημας διηρπαζον εαυτοις
12 You have given us over like sheep for food. You have scattered us among the Gentiles.	12 εδωκας ημας ως προβατα βρωσεως και εν τοις εθνεσιν διεσπειρας ημας
13 You have sold your people without a price, and no great number was exchanged for them.	13 απεδου τον λαον σου ανευ τιμης και ουκ ην πληθος εν τοις αλλαγμασιν αυτων
14 You have set us as a disgrace to our neighbors, a scoff and a derision to those who are around us.	14 εθου ημας ονειδος τοις γειτοσιν ημων μυκτηρισμον και καταγελωτα τοις κυκλω ημων
15 You have set us as a parable among the Gentiles, a shaking of the head among the peoples.	15 εθου ημας εις παραβολην εν τοις εθνεσιν κινησιν κεφαλης εν τοις λαοις
16 All day long my shame is before me, and the confusion of my face has covered me,	16 ολην την ημεραν η εντροπη μου κατεναντιον μου εστιν και η αισχυνη του προσωπου μου εκαλυψεν με
17 before the voice of the reproacher and the commentator, before the face of the adversary and the pursuer.	17 απο φωνης ονειδιζοντος και παραλαλουντος απο προσωπου εχθρου και εκδιωκοντος
18 All these things have come upon us, yet we have not forgotten you, and we have not acted unjustly in your covenant.	18 ταυτα παντα ηλθεν εφ' ημας και ουκ επελαθομεθα σου και ουκ ηδικησαμεν εν διαθηκη σου
19 And our heart has not turned back. And you have not diverted our steps from your way.	19 και ουκ απεστη εις τα οπισω η καρδια ημων και εξεκλινας τας τριβους ημων απο της οδου σου
20 For you humbled us in a place of affliction, and the shadow of death has covered us.	20 οτι εταπεινωσας ημας εν τοπω κακωσεως και επεκαλυψεν ημας σκια θανατου
21 If we have forgotten the name of our God, and if we have extended our hands to a foreign god,	21 ει επελαθομεθα του ονοματος του θεου ημων και ει διεπετασαμεν χειρας ημων προς θεον αλλοτριον
22 will not God find this out? For he knows the secrets of the heart. For, because of you, we are being killed all day long. We are considered as sheep for the slaughter.	22 ουχι ο θεος εκζητησει ταυτα αυτος γαρ γινωσκει τα κρυφια της καρδιας
23 Rise up. Why do you fall asleep, O Lord? Rise up, and do not reject us in the end.	23 οτι ενεκα σου θανατουμεθα ολην την ημεραν ελογισθημεν ως προβατα σφαγης
24 Why do you turn your face away, and why do you forget our needfulness and our tribulation?	24 εξεγερθητι ινα τι υπνοις κυριε αναστηθι και μη απωση εις τελος
25 For our soul has been humbled into the dust. Our belly has been bound to the earth.	25 ινα τι το προσωπον σου αποστρεφεις επιλανθανη της πτωχειας ημων και της θλιψεως ημων
26 Rise up, O Lord. Help us and redeem us, because of your name.	26 οτι εταπεινωθη εις χουν η ψυχη ημων εκολληθη εις γην η γαστηρ ημων
	27 αναστα κυριε βοηθησον ημιν και λυτρωσαι ημας ενεκεν του ονοματος σου
