1 Alleluia. Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem. Praise your God, O Zion.	1 Loda, o Gerusalemme, il Signore, celebra il tuo Dio, o Sion!
2 For he has reinforced the bars of your gates. He has blessed your sons within you.	2 Perchè ha rafforzato le spranghe delle tue porte, ha benedetto i tuoi figliuoli in [mezzo a] te.
3 He has stationed peace at your borders, and he has satisfied you with the fat of the grain.	3 Ha messo ne' tuoi confini la pace, e del grasso del frumento ti sazia.
4 He sends forth his eloquence to the earth. His word runs swiftly.	4 E' manda la sua parola sulla terra: velocemente corre il suo detto.
5 He provides snow like wool. He strews clouds like ashes.	5 Dà la neve come [fiocchi di] lana, e la brina e' sparge come cenere.
6 He sends his ice crystals like morsels. Who can stand firm before the face of his cold?	6 Getta il suo ghiaccio come briciole: davanti al suo gelo chi può resistere?
7 He will send forth his word, and it will melt them. His Spirit will breathe out, and the waters will flow.	7 Manda [poi] la sua parola e lo scioglie; soffia il suo vento e scorron le acque.
8 He announces his word to Jacob, his justices and his judgments to Israel.	8 Annunzia la sua parola a Giacobbe, le sue leggi e i suoi giudizi a Israele.
9 He has not done so much for every nation, and he has not made his judgments manifest to them. Alleluia.	9 Non fece così a nessuna nazione, e i suoi giudizi ad esse non manifestò. [Alleluia!]
