1 “But you shall also do this, so that they may be consecrated to me in the priesthood: Take a calf from the herd, and two immaculate rams,	1 Voici comment tu consacreras les prêtres à mon service: tu prendras un jeune taureau et deux béliers sans défaut,
2 and unleavened bread, and a crust without leaven that has been sprinkled with oil, likewise, unleavened cakes smeared with oil. You shall make them all from the same wheat flour.	2 des pains sans levain, des gâteaux sans levain trempés dans l’huile et des galettes sans levain trempées dans l’huile. Le tout sera de fleur de farine de blé.
3 And, having placed them in baskets, you shall offer them, along with the calf and the two rams.	3 Tu les mettras dans une corbeille et tu les offriras dans la corbeille avec le jeune taureau et les deux béliers.
4 And you shall bring forward Aaron and his sons, to the door of the tabernacle of the testimony. And when you will have washed the father with his sons in water,	4 Alors tu feras approcher Aaron et ses fils à l’entrée de la Tente du Rendez-Vous et tu les laveras dans l’eau.
5 you shall clothe Aaron in his vestments, that is, with the linen, and the tunic, and the ephod, and the breastplate, which you shall draw together with the wide belt.	5 Puis tu prendras les habits et tu revêtiras Aaron de la tunique, du manteau, de l’éphod et du pectoral. Puis tu laceras sur lui la bande de l’éphod.
6 And you shall place the headdress on his head and the holy plate upon the headdress.	6 Tu lui poseras sur la tête le turban, et tu placeras le diadème sacré sur le turban.
7 And you shall pour the oil of unction over his head. And so, by this rite, he shall be consecrated.	7 Tu prendras l’huile pour l’onction et tu la verseras sur sa tête. C’est ainsi que tu l’oindras.
8 Likewise, you shall bring forward his sons, and you shall clothe them in the linen tunics, and wrap them with the wide belt:	8 Puis tu feras approcher ses fils et tu les habilleras de tuniques.
9 Aaron, certainly, as well as his sons. And you shall impose headdresses upon them. And they shall be priests to me by a perpetual ordinance. After you have initiated their hands,	9 Tu mettras une ceinture autour des reins d’Aaron et de ses fils, ensuite tu leur mettras les mitres. C’est ainsi que tu consacreras Aaron et ses fils comme prêtres à mon service selon un rite perpétuel.
10 you shall bring forward also the calf, in the presence of the tabernacle of the testimony. And Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands upon its head.	10 Alors tu feras approcher le jeune taureau devant la Tente du Rendez-Vous. Aaron et ses fils poseront leurs mains sur la tête du jeune taureau.
11 And you shall sacrifice it in the sight of the Lord, beside the door of the tabernacle of the testimony.	11 Tu immoleras le jeune taureau devant Yahvé, à l’entrée de la Tente du Rendez-Vous.
12 And taking some of the blood of the calf, you shall place it upon the horns of the altar with your finger, but the remainder of the blood you shall pour next to its base.	12 Tu prendras du sang du taureau, tu en mettras sur les cornes de l’autel avec ton doigt, et tu verseras le reste du sang au pied de l’autel.
13 And you shall take all the fat which covers its intestines, and the mesh of the liver, as well as the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, and you shall offer them as a burnt offering upon the altar.	13 Tu prendras la graisse qui entoure les intestins, le foie, les deux rognons et la graisse qui les entoure, et tu brûleras le tout sur l’autel.
14 Yet truly, the flesh of the calf, and the hide and the dung, you shall burn outside, beyond the camp, because it is for sin.	14 Tu brûleras la chair du taureau, sa peau et ses excréments en dehors du camp, en sacrifice de réparation pour le péché.
15 Likewise, you shall take one ram, and upon its head Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands.	15 Ensuite tu prendras le premier bélier; Aaron et ses fils poseront leurs mains sur la tête du bélier.
16 And when you will have sacrificed it, you shall take from its blood and pour it around the altar.	16 Tu immoleras le bélier et, avec son sang, tu aspergeras l’autel.
17 Then you shall cut the ram into pieces, and, having washed its intestines and feet, you shall place these upon the cut-up flesh and upon its head.	17 Tu couperas le bélier en morceaux, tu laveras les intestins et les pattes, tu les poseras sur les morceaux et sur la tête du bélier,
18 And you shall offer the entire ram as a burnt offering upon the altar. It is an oblation to the Lord, a most sweet odor of the victim of the Lord.	18 et tu feras brûler le tout sur l’autel. C’est l’holocauste, c’est-à-dire le sacrifice par le feu, en l’honneur de Yahvé. Ce sera un sacrifice agréable à Yahvé.
19 Likewise, you shall take the other ram, upon whose head Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands.	19 Tu prendras ensuite le second bélier; Aaron et ses fils poseront leurs mains sur la tête du bélier.
20 And when you will have immolated it, you shall take of its blood, and place it on the tip of the right ear of Aaron and his sons, and on the thumbs and big toes of their right hand and right foot, and you shall pour the blood upon the altar, all around.	20 Tu immoleras le bélier et, avec son sang, tu marqueras l’oreille droite d’Aaron et l’oreille droite de ses fils, le pouce de leur main droite et le pouce de leur pied droit. Puis tu aspergeras tout l’autel avec le reste du sang.
21 And when you have taken from the blood that is on the altar, and from the oil of unction, you shall sprinkle Aaron and his vestment, his sons and their vestments. And after they and their vestments have been consecrated,	21 Tu prendras du sang qui est sur l’autel et de l’huile qui sert pour l’onction, tu en aspergeras Aaron et ses habits, ses fils et leurs habits. Ils seront ainsi consacrés, lui et ses habits, ses fils et leurs habits.
22 you shall take the fat of the ram, and the rump, and the lard that covers the internal organs, and the mesh of the liver, and the two kidneys along with the fat that is on them, and the right shoulder, because it is the ram of consecration,	22 Tu prendras la graisse et la queue du bélier, la graisse qui entoure l’intestin, le foie, les deux rognons et la graisse qui les enveloppe, ainsi que le gigot droit, car c’est un bélier de consécration.
23 and one turn of bread, a crust sprinkled with oil, and a cake from the basket of unleavened bread, which was placed in the sight of the Lord.	23 Tu prendras une boule de pain, un gâteau de pain cuit dans l’huile et une galette de la corbeille des pains sans levain qui se trouve devant Yahvé.
24 And you shall place all these in the hands of Aaron and his sons, and you shall sanctify them, lifting them up in the sight of the Lord.	24 Tu mettras le tout dans les mains d’Aaron et dans les mains de ses fils, et tu les balanceras devant Yahvé.
25 And you shall take all these things from their hands and burn them upon the altar as a holocaust, as a most sweet odor in the sight of the Lord, because it is his oblation.	25 Puis tu reprendras le tout de leurs mains, et tu le brûleras sur l’autel, en holocauste, c’est-à-dire en sacrifice par le feu, en l’honneur de Yahvé. Ce sera un sacrifice agréable à Yahvé.
26 Likewise, you shall take the chest of the ram, with which Aaron was initiated, and you shall sanctify it, lifting it up in the sight of the Lord, and it will fall to your share.	26 Tu prendras alors la poitrine du bélier pour la consécration d’Aaron, et tu la balanceras devant Yahvé: elle t’appartiendra.
27 And you shall sanctify both the consecrated chest and the shoulder that you separated from the ram,	27 Tu consacreras la poitrine que tu auras balancée, le gigot que tu auras prélevé, tout ce qui a été balancé, tout ce qui a été prélevé sur le bélier de consécration pour Aaron et sur le bélier de consécration pour ses fils.
28 with which Aaron was initiated with his sons, and these will fall to the share of Aaron and his sons, as a perpetual oath by the sons of Israel. For these are the greatest and the first of their victims of peace, which they offer to the Lord.	28 Ce sera un droit perpétuel pour Aaron et pour ses fils, leur dû: les Israélites le prélèveront sur les sacrifices de communion qu’ils offrent à Yahvé.
29 But the holy vestment, which Aaron shall use, his sons shall possess after him, so that they may be anointed in it and their hands may be consecrated.	29 Les vêtements sacrés d’Aaron passeront à ses fils après lui, pour qu’ils les portent au jour de leur onction et de leur consécration.
30 For seven days, he who is high priest in his place and who enters the tabernacle of the testimony to minister in the Sanctuary shall use it.	30 Pendant sept jours, celui de ses fils qui lui succédera pour entrer comme lui dans la Tente du Rendez-Vous et accomplir son ministère dans le Saint, portera ces vêtements sacrés.
31 But you shall take the ram of consecration and cook its flesh in the holy place.	31 Tu prendras le bélier de consécration et tu feras cuire sa viande dans un lieu sacré.
32 And Aaron and his sons shall feed on it. Likewise, the loaves which are in the basket, they shall consume in the vestibule of the tabernacle of the testimony,	32 Aaron et ses fils mangeront la viande du bélier et le pain qui est dans la corbeille à l’entrée de la Tente du Rendez-Vous.
33 so that it may be an appeasing sacrifice, and so that the hands of those who offer may be sanctified. A stranger shall not eat from these, for they are holy.	33 Ils mangeront ainsi ce qui a été offert pour le péché au moment de leur consécration. Aucun profane n’en mangera, car ce sont des viandes sacrées.
34 And what may remain until morning, of the consecrated flesh or of the bread, you shall burn these remnants with fire. These shall not be eaten, because they have been sanctified.	34 S’il reste de la viande du sacrifice de consécration, ou du pain, jusqu’au matin, on les brûlera au feu; mais on ne les mangera pas, car ce sont des choses saintes.
35 All that I have instructed you concerning Aaron and his sons, you shall do. For seven days shall you consecrate their hands,	35 Tu feras pour Aaron et pour ses fils tout ce que je t’ai ordonné. Leur consécration durera sept jours.
36 and you shall offer a calf for sin on each day, as an atonement. And you shall cleanse the altar when you will have immolated the victim of expiation, and you shall anoint it for sanctification.	36 Pour la purification et la consécration de l’autel, tu prépareras chaque jour un jeune taureau pour l’expiation, en sacrifice pour le péché. Ensuite, tu oindras l’autel pour le consacrer.
37 For seven days, you shall expiate and sanctify the altar, and it shall be the Holy of holies. All those who will touch it must be sanctified.	37 Cette expiation et consécration de l’autel durera sept jours. Désormais l’autel sera très saint et tout ce qui touchera à l’autel sera consacré.
38 This is what you shall acquire for the altar: Two one-year-old lambs, each day continually,	38 Chaque jour, et pour toujours, tu prépareras sur l’autel deux agneaux nés durant l’année.
39 one lamb in the morning, and the other in the evening;	39 Tu prépareras le premier agneau le matin, et le second à la tombée du jour.
40 for the one lamb, a tenth part of fine flour sprinkled with crushed oil, which shall have the measure of the fourth part of a hin, and wine for a libation, of the same measure;	40 Tu offriras une mesure de fleur de farine trempée dans de l’huile d’olive concassée et, pour l’offrande liquide, une mesure de vin pour le premier agneau.
41 truly, the other lamb you shall offer in the evening, according to the ritual of the morning oblation, and according to what we have said, as an odor of sweetness.	41 À la tombée du jour tu prépareras le second agneau et tu feras pour lui comme pour l’offrande du matin, avec offrande liquide. Ce sera un sacrifice par le feu, agréable à Yahvé.
42 It is a sacrifice to the Lord, by a perpetual oblation among your generations, at the door of the tabernacle of the testimony before the Lord, where I resolve to speak to you.	42 C’est là l’holocauste perpétuel que vous présenterez à Yahvé à l’entrée de la Tente du Rendez-Vous, tout au long de vos générations, à l’endroit même où je te fixerai rendez-vous pour te parler.
43 And there I will instruct the sons of Israel, and the altar shall be sanctified by my glory.	43 Je viendrai en ce lieu pour rencontrer les fils d’Israël, et ce lieu sera sanctifié par ma Gloire.
44 I will also sanctify the tabernacle of the testimony with the altar, and Aaron with his sons, to exercise the priesthood for me.	44 Je consacrerai la Tente du Rendez-Vous et l’autel, je consacrerai aussi Aaron et ses fils pour qu’ils soient mes prêtres et me servent.
45 And I will live in the midst of the sons of Israel, and I will be their God.	45 Ainsi j’habiterai au milieu des Israélites et je serai leur Dieu.
46 And they shall know that I am the Lord their God, who led them away from the land of Egypt, so that I might dwell among them. I am the Lord their God.”	46 Ils sauront que je suis Yahvé, leur Dieu, qui les ai fait monter du pays d’Égypte pour habiter au milieu d’eux, moi, Yahvé leur Dieu!
