1 Chronicles 27

1 Now the sons of Israel, according to their number, the leaders of the families, the tribunes, and the centurions, and the chiefs, who were ministering to the king by their companies, entering and departing in each month of the year as they were in charge, were twenty-four thousand.	1 και υιοι ισραηλ κατ' αριθμον αυτων αρχοντες των πατριων χιλιαρχοι και εκατονταρχοι και γραμματεις οι λειτουργουντες τω λαω και εις παν λογον του βασιλεως κατα διαιρεσεις εις παν λογον του εισπορευομενου και εκπορευομενου μηνα εκ μηνος εις παντας τους μηνας του ενιαυτου διαιρεσις μια εικοσι και τεσσαρες χιλιαδες
2 Jashobeam, the son of Zabdiel, was in charge of the first company in the first month; and under him were twenty-four thousand.	2 και επι της διαιρεσεως της πρωτης του μηνος του πρωτου ιεσβοαμ ο του ζαβδιηλ και επι της διαιρεσεως αυτου εικοσι και τεσσαρες χιλιαδες
3 He was from the sons of Perez, and he was the leader of all the other leaders in the army, in the first month.	3 απο των υιων φαρες αρχων παντων των αρχοντων της δυναμεως του μηνος του πρωτου
4 The company of the second month had Dodai, an Ahohite; and after him there was another, named Mikloth, who ruled over a portion of the army of the twenty-four thousand.	4 και επι της διαιρεσεως του μηνος του δευτερου δωδια ο εχωχι και επι της διαιρεσεως αυτου εικοσι και τεσσαρες χιλιαδες αρχοντες δυναμεως
5 Also, the commander of the third company, in the third month, was Benaiah, the son of Jehoiada the priest; and in his division there were twenty-four thousand.	5 ο τριτος τον μηνα τον τριτον βαναιας ο του ιωδαε ο ιερευς ο αρχων και επι της διαιρεσεως αυτου τεσσαρες και εικοσι χιλιαδες
6 The same is the Benaiah who was strongest among the thirty, and was above the thirty. But his son, Ammizabad, was in charge of his company.	6 αυτος βαναιας δυνατωτερος των τριακοντα και επι των τριακοντα και επι της διαιρεσεως αυτου αμιζαβαθ υιος αυτου
7 The fourth, for the fourth month, was Asahel, the brother of Joab, and his son Zebadiah after him; and in his company there were twenty-four thousand.	7 ο τεταρτος εις τον μηνα τον τεταρτον ασαηλ ο αδελφος ιωαβ και ζαβδιας ο υιος αυτου και οι αδελφοι και επι της διαιρεσεως αυτου τεσσαρες και εικοσι χιλιαδες
8 The fifth leader, for the fifth month, was Shamhuth, an Izrahite; and in his company there were twenty-four thousand.	8 ο πεμπτος τω μηνι τω πεμπτω ο ηγουμενος σαμαωθ ο ιεσραε και επι της διαιρεσεως αυτου εικοσι τεσσαρες χιλιαδες
9 The sixth, for the sixth month, was Ira, the son of Ikkesh, a Tekoite; and in his company there were twenty-four thousand.	9 ο εκτος τω μηνι τω εκτω οδουιας ο του εκκης ο θεκωιτης και επι της διαιρεσεως αυτου τεσσαρες και εικοσι χιλιαδες
10 The seventh, for the seventh month, was Helez, a Pelonite from the sons of Ephraim; and in his company there were twenty-four thousand.	10 ο εβδομος τω μηνι τω εβδομω χελλης ο εκ φαλλους απο των υιων εφραιμ και επι της διαιρεσεως αυτου τεσσαρες και εικοσι χιλιαδες
11 The eighth, for the eighth month, was Sibbecai, a Hushathite from the stock of the Zerahites; and in his company there were twenty-four thousand.	11 ο ογδοος τω μηνι τω ογδοω σοβοχαι ο ισαθι τω ζαραι και επι της διαιρεσεως αυτου τεσσαρες και εικοσι χιλιαδες
12 The ninth, for the ninth month, was Abiezer, an Anathothite from the sons of Benjamin; and in his company there were twenty-four thousand.	12 ο ενατος τω μηνι τω ενατω αβιεζερ ο εξ αναθωθ εκ γης βενιαμιν και επι της διαιρεσεως αυτου τεσσαρες και εικοσι χιλιαδες
13 The tenth, for the tenth month, was Maharai, and he was a Netophathite from the stock of the Zerahites; and in his company there were twenty-four thousand.	13 ο δεκατος τω μηνι τω δεκατω μεηρα ο εκ νετουφατ τω ζαραι και επι της διαιρεσεως αυτου τεσσαρες και εικοσι χιλιαδες
14 The eleventh, for the eleventh month, was Benaiah, a Pirathonite from the sons of Ephraim; and in his company there were twenty-four thousand.	14 ο ενδεκατος τω μηνι τω ενδεκατω βαναιας ο εκ φαραθων των υιων εφραιμ και επι της διαιρεσεως αυτου τεσσαρες και εικοσι χιλιαδες
15 The twelfth, for the twelfth month, was Heldai, a Netophathite from the stock of Othniel; and in his company there were twenty-four thousand.	15 ο δωδεκατος εις τον μηνα τον δωδεκατον χολδαι ο νετωφατι τω γοθονιηλ και επι της διαιρεσεως αυτου τεσσαρες και εικοσι χιλιαδες
16 Now those who were first over the tribes of Israel were these: over the Reubenites, Eliezer, the son of Zichri, was the ruler; over the Simeonites, Shephatiah, the son of Maacah, was the ruler;	16 και επι των φυλων ισραηλ τω ρουβην ηγουμενος ελιεζερ ο του ζεχρι τω συμεων σαφατιας ο του μααχα
17 over the Levites, Hashabiah, the son of Kemuel; over the Aaronites, Zadok;	17 τω λευι ασαβιας ο του καμουηλ τω ααρων σαδωκ
18 over Judah, Elihu, the brother of David; over Issachar, Omri, the son of Michael;	18 τω ιουδα ελιαβ των αδελφων δαυιδ τω ισσαχαρ αμβρι ο του μιχαηλ
19 over the Zebulunites, Ishmaiah, the son of Obadiah; over the Naphtalites, Jeremoth, the son of Azriel;	19 τω ζαβουλων σαμαιας ο του αβδιου τω νεφθαλι ιεριμωθ ο του εσριηλ
20 over the sons of Ephraim, Hoshea, the son of Azaziah; over the one half tribe of Manasseh, Joel, the son of Pedaiah;	20 τω εφραιμ ωση ο του οζιου τω ημισει φυλης μανασση ιωηλ ο του φαδαια
21 and over the one half tribe of Manasseh in Gilead, Iddo, the son of Zechariah; then over Benjamin, Jaasiel, the son of Abner;	21 τω ημισει φυλης μανασση τω εν τη γαλααδ ιαδδαι ο του ζαβδιου τοις υιοις βενιαμιν ασιηλ ο του αβεννηρ
22 yet truly, Azarel, the son of Jeroham, was over Dan. These were the leaders of the sons of Israel.	22 τω δαν αζαραηλ ο του ιωραμ ουτοι πατριαρχαι των φυλων ισραηλ
23 But David was not willing to number them from twenty years old and under. For the Lord had said that he would multiply Israel like the stars of heaven.	23 και ουκ ελαβεν δαυιδ τον αριθμον αυτων απο εικοσαετους και κατω οτι κυριος ειπεν πληθυναι τον ισραηλ ως τους αστερας του ουρανου
24 Joab, the son of Zeruiah, had begun to number, but he did not finish. For because of this, wrath had fallen upon Israel. And therefore the number of those who had been counted was not related in the official records of king David.	24 και ιωαβ ο του σαρουια ηρξατο αριθμειν εν τω λαω και ου συνετελεσεν και εγενετο εν τουτοις οργη επι τον ισραηλ και ου κατεχωρισθη ο αριθμος εν βιβλιω λογων των ημερων του βασιλεως δαυιδ
25 Now over the storerooms of the king was Azmaveth, the son of Adiel. But Jonathan, the son of Uzziah, was over those storerooms that were in the cities, and in the villages, and in the towers.	25 και επι των θησαυρων του βασιλεως ασμωθ ο του ωδιηλ και επι των θησαυρων των εν αγρω και εν ταις κωμαις και εν τοις εποικιοις και εν τοις πυργοις ιωναθαν ο του οζιου
26 And over the farmlands and the farmers, those who worked the ground, was Ezri, the son of Chelub.	26 επι δε των γεωργουντων την γην των εργαζομενων εσδρι ο του χολουβ
27 And over the cultivators of vineyards was Shimei, a Ramathite; then over the wine cellars was Zabdi, an Aphonite.	27 και επι των χωριων σεμει ο εκ ραμα και επι των θησαυρων των εν τοις χωριοις του οινου ζαχρι ο του σεφνι
28 Now over the olive groves and the fig groves, which were in the plains, was Baal-hanan, a Gederite; and over the oil cellars was Joash.	28 και επι των ελαιωνων και επι των συκαμινων των εν τη πεδινη βαλανας ο γεδωριτης επι δε των θησαυρων του ελαιου ιωας
29 Now over the herds that were pastured in Sharon, Shitrai, a Sharonite, was in the first place; and over the oxen in the valleys, there was Shaphat, the son of Adlai.	29 και επι των βοων των νομαδων των εν τω ασιδων σατραις ο σαρωνιτης και επι των βοων των εν τοις αυλωσιν σωφατ ο του αδλι
30 Truly, over the camels was Obil, an Ishmaelite; and over the donkeys was Jehdeiah, a Meronothite.	30 επι δε των καμηλων ωβιλ ο ισμαηλιτης επι δε των ονων ιαδιας ο εκ μεραθων
31 And over the sheep was Jaziz, a Hagarene. All these were leaders over the substance of king David.	31 και επι των προβατων ιαζιζ ο αγαριτης παντες ουτοι προσταται υπαρχοντων δαυιδ του βασιλεως
32 Now Jonathan, the uncle of David, was a counselor, a prudent and scholarly man; he and Jehiel, the son of Hachmoni, were with the sons of the king.	32 και ιωναθαν ο πατραδελφος δαυιδ συμβουλος ανθρωπος συνετος και γραμματευς αυτος και ιιηλ ο του αχαμανι μετα των υιων του βασιλεως
33 Now Ahithophel was the counselor of the king; and Hushai, the Archite, was the king’s friend.	33 και αχιτοφελ συμβουλος του βασιλεως και χουσι πρωτος φιλος του βασιλεως
34 After Ahithophel was Jehoiada, the son of Benaiah, and Abiathar. But the leader of the army of the king was Joab.	34 και μετα τουτον αχιτοφελ εχομενος ιωδαε ο του βαναιου και αβιαθαρ και ιωαβ αρχιστρατηγος του βασιλεως
