1 This is the book of the lineage of Adam. In the day that God created man, he made him to the likeness of God.	1 Ádám nemzetségtáblája. Azon a napon, amelyen Isten az embert teremtette, az Isten hasonlatosságára alkotta.
2 He created them, male and female; and he blessed them. And he called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.	2 Férfinak és nőnek teremtette, megáldotta, és embernek nevezte el őket, azon a napon, amelyen teremtette.
3 Then Adam lived for one hundred and thirty years. And then he conceived a son in his own image and likeness, and he called his name Seth.	3 Amikor aztán Ádám százharminc esztendős lett, gyermeket nemzett a maga képére és hasonlatosságára, s elnevezte azt Szetnek.
4 And after he conceived Seth, the days of Adam that passed were eight hundred years. And he conceived sons and daughters.	4 Azután, hogy Szetet nemzette, Ádám még nyolcszáz esztendeig élt, és nemzett még fiakat meg leányokat.
5 And all the time that passed while Adam lived was nine hundred and thirty years, and then he died.	5 Ádám összesen kilencszázharminc esztendeig élt, azután meghalt.
6 Seth likewise lived for one hundred and five years, and then he conceived Enos.	6 Amikor Szet százöt esztendős lett, Enóst nemzette.
7 And after he conceived Enos, Seth lived for eight hundred and seven years, and he conceived sons and daughters.	7 Miután Enóst nemzette, Szet még nyolcszázhét esztendeig élt, s nemzett még fiakat meg leányokat.
8 And all the days of Seth that passed were nine hundred and twelve years, and then he died.	8 Szet összesen kilencszáztizenkét esztendeig élt, aztán meghalt.
9 In truth, Enos lived ninety years, and then he conceived Cainan.	9 Amikor Enós kilencvenesztendős lett, Káinánt nemzette.
10 After his birth, he lived eight hundred and fifteen years, and he conceived sons and daughters.	10 Ennek születése után nyolcszáztizenöt esztendeig élt, s nemzett még fiakat meg leányokat.
11 And all the days of Enos that passed were nine hundred and five years, and then he died.	11 Enós összesen kilencszázöt esztendeig élt, s aztán meghalt.
12 Likewise, Cainan lived seventy years, and then he conceived Mahalalel.	12 Amikor Káinán hetvenesztendős volt, nemzette Maláleélt.
13 And after he conceived Mahalalel, Cainan lived for eight hundred and forty years, and he conceived sons and daughters.	13 Káinán azután, hogy Maláleélt nemzette, nyolcszáznegyven esztendeig élt, és nemzett még fiakat meg leányokat.
14 And all the days of Cainan that passed were nine hundred and ten years, and then he died.	14 Káinán összesen kilencszáztíz esztendeig élt, azután meghalt.
15 And Mahalalel lived sixty-five years, and then he conceived Jared.	15 Amikor Maláleél hatvanöt esztendős volt, nemzette Járedet.
16 And after he conceived Jared, Mahalalel lived for eight hundred and thirty years, and he conceived sons and daughters.	16 Maláleél azután, hogy Járedet nemzette, nyolcszázharminc esztendeig élt, és nemzett még fiakat meg leányokat.
17 And all the days of Mahalalel that passed were eight hundred and ninety-five years, and then he died.	17 Maláleél összesen nyolcszázkilencvenöt esztendeig élt, azután meghalt.
18 And Jared lived for one hundred and sixty-two years, and then he conceived Enoch.	18 Amikor Járed százhatvankét esztendős volt, nemzette Hénokot.
19 And after he conceived Enoch, Jared lived for eight hundred years, and he conceived sons and daughters.	19 Járed azután, hogy Hénokot nemzette, nyolcszáz esztendeig élt, és nemzett még fiakat meg leányokat.
20 And all the days of Jared that passed were nine hundred and sixty-two years, and then he died.	20 Járed összesen kilencszázhatvankét esztendeig élt, azután meghalt.
21 Now Enoch lived for sixty-five years, and then he conceived Methuselah.	21 Amikor Hénok hatvanöt esztendős volt, nemzette Matuzsálemet.
22 And Enoch walked with God. And after he conceived Methuselah, he lived for three hundred years, and he conceived sons and daughters.	22 És Hénok az Istennel járt. Azután, hogy Matuzsálemet nemzette, háromszáz esztendeig élt, és nemzett még fiakat meg leányokat.
23 And all the days of Enoch that passed were three hundred and sixty-five years.	23 Hénok összesen háromszázhatvanöt esztendeig élt.
24 And he walked with God, and then he was seen no more, because God took him.	24 Kedves volt Isten előtt, és nem találták, mert Isten elvitte.
25 Likewise, Methuselah lived for one hundred and eighty-seven years, and then he conceived Lamech.	25 Amikor Matuzsálem száznyolcvanhét esztendős volt, nemzette Lámeket.
26 And after he conceived Lamech, Methuselah lived for seven hundred and eighty-two years, and he conceived sons and daughters.	26 Matuzsálem azután, hogy Lámeket nemzette, hétszáznyolcvankét esztendeig élt, és nemzett még fiakat meg leányokat.
27 And all the days of Methuselah that passed were nine hundred and sixty-nine years, and then he died.	27 Matuzsálem összesen kilencszázhatvankilenc esztendeig élt, azután meghalt.
28 Then Lamech lived for one hundred and eighty-two years, and he conceived a son.	28 Amikor Lámek száznyolcvankét esztendős volt, fiút nemzett,
29 And he called his name Noah, saying, “This one will console us from the works and hardships of our hands, in the land that the Lord has cursed.”	29 és elnevezte Noénak, mondván: »Ez vigasztal meg majd minket kezünk munkáiban és fáradalmaiban a földön, melyet az Úr megátkozott!«
30 And after he conceived Noah, Lamech lived for five hundred and ninety-five years, and he conceived sons and daughters.	30 Lámek azután, hogy Noét nemzette, ötszázkilencvenöt esztendeig élt, és nemzett még fiakat meg leányokat.
31 And all the days of Lamech that passed were seven hundred and seventy-seven years, and then he died. In truth, when Noah was five hundred years old, he conceived Shem, Ham, and Japheth.	31 Lámek összesen hétszázhetvenhét esztendeig élt, azután meghalt.
	32 Noé pedig, amikor ötszáz esztendős volt, nemzette Szemet, Kámot és Jáfetet.
