Leviticus 9

1 On the eighth day Moses summoned Aaron and his sons, together with the elders of Israel,	1 Venendo l'ottavo die, chiamò Moisè Aronne e li figliuoli suoi con tutti li principi d'Israel. E disse ad Aaron:
2 and said to Aaron, "Take a calf for a sin offering and a ram for a holocaust, both without blemish, and offer them before the LORD.	2 Togli dell' armento uno vitello per lo peccato, e uno montone per lo sacrificio, e amendue sieno senza macula; e offerira'li in presenza di Dio.
3 Tell the elders of Israel, too: Take a he-goat for a sin offering, a calf and a lamb, both unblemished yearlings, for a holocaust,	3 E parlerai ai figliuoli d'Israel, e di' loro: Tollete uno becco per lo peccato, e uno vitello e uno agnello d'un anno senza macula in sacrificio,
4 and an ox and a ram for a peace offering, to sacrifice them before the LORD, along with a cereal offering mixed with oil; for today the LORD will reveal himself to you."	4 uno bue e uno montone; offerirete in prenonsenza d'Iddio, sia perpeccato; e in ogni sacrificio offerirete crusca intinta con olio: oggi Iddio v'apparirà.
5 So they brought what Moses had ordered. When the whole community had come forward and stood before the LORD,	5 E tolsero ogni cosa che disse Moisè, e posero alla porta del tabernacolo; ed essendovi tutto il popolo,
6 Moses said, "This is what the LORD orders you to do, that the glory of the LORD may be revealed to you.	6 disse Moisè: queste sono le parole che Iddio hae comandate; fatele, e vedrete la sua gloria.
7 Come up to the altar," Moses then told Aaron, "and offer your sin offering and your holocaust in atonement for yourself and for your family; then present the offering of the people in atonement for them, as the LORD has commanded."	7 E ad Aaron disse: va all'altare, ed offerisci per lo tuo peccato; ed offerisci lo sacrificio, e prega per te e per lo popolo tuo; e quando lo sacrificio sarà compiuto, prega per lo popolo, secondo che Iddio comando.
8 Going up to the altar, Aaron first slaughtered the calf that was his own sin offering.	8 E incontanente Aaron andoe all'altare, e offerse lo vitello per lo suo peccato.
9 When his sons presented the blood to him, he dipped his finger in the blood and put it on the horns of the altar. The rest of the blood he poured out at the base of the altar.	9 Lo cui sangue gli portarono li suoi figliuoli; e intinto lo dito dentro, unse li canti dell' altare, e quello che rimase versoe al piede dell' altare.
10 He then burned on the altar the fat, the kidneys and the lobe of the liver that were taken from the sin offering, as the LORD had commanded Moses;	10 Lo grasso e i lombi e la rete del fegato, li quali si offerranno per li peccati, arse sopra l'altare, secondo che Iddio comandò a Moisè.
11 but the flesh and the hide he burned up in the fire outside the camp.	11 La carne e la pelle arse fuori dello abitato.
12 Then Aaron slaughtered his holocaust. When his sons brought him the blood, he splashed it on all sides of the altar.	12 E offerse lo animale in sacrificio; e gli figliuoli gli portarono lo sangue, ed egli lo versoe d'intorno all'altare.
13 They then brought him the pieces and the head of the holocaust, and he burned them on the altar.	13 E questa medesima oblazione, tagliato lo capo e tutti i membri, portarono; e arseli sopra l'altare,
14 Having washed the inner organs and the shanks, he burned these also with the holocaust on the altar.	14 lavate prima l'interiora e li piedi.
15 Thereupon he had the people's offering brought up. Taking the goat that was for the people's sin offering, he slaughtered it and offered it up for sin as before.	15 E per lo peccato del popolo offerse e uccise lo becco; e mondato l'altare,
16 Then he brought forward the holocaust, other than the morning holocaust, and offered it in the usual manner.	16 fece lo sacrificio,
17 He then presented the cereal offering; taking a handful of it, he burned it on the altar.	17 aggiungendo insieme ciò che rimase delle cose di che si fece sacrificio; arsele sopra l'altare, non facendo festa.
18 Finally he slaughtered the ox and the ram, the peace offering of the people. When his sons brought him the blood, Aaron splashed it on all sides of the altar.	18 E offerse uno bue e uno montone in sacrificio per grazia del popolo; e gli figliuoli suoi gli portarono il sangue, il quale versoe intorno l'altare.
19 The portions of fat from the ox and from the ram, the fatty tail, the fatty membrane over the inner organs, the two kidneys, with the fat that is on them, and the lobe of the liver,	19 Lo grasso del bue, e la coda del montone, e i lombi colla grassa sua, e la rete del fegato,
20 he placed on top of the breasts and burned them on the altar,	20 pose sopra lo petto; e come egli ebbe arso li grassi nell'altare,
21 having first waved the breasts and the right legs as a wave offering before the LORD, in keeping with the LORD'S command to Moses.	21 li petti loro e le spalle destre separolle Aaron e levolle, secondo che Moisè avea comandato.
22 Aaron then raised his hands over the people and blessed them. When he came down from offering the sin offering and holocaust and peace offering,	22 E istendendo la mano al popolo, si lo be nedisse. Sì che compiuti li sacrificii, che si faceano per lo peccato, ovvero senza peccato, discesero.
23 Moses and Aaron went into the meeting tent. On coming out they again blessed the people. Then the glory of the LORD was revealed to all the people.	23 E andati Moise e Aaron nel tabernacolo della testimonianza, e indi usciti, benedissero lo popolo; e la gloria di Dio apparve a tutto il popolo.
24 Fire came forth from the LORD'S presence and consumed the holocaust and the remnants of the fat on the altar. Seeing this, all the people cried out and fell prostrate.	24 Ed ecco lo fuoco disceso d'Iddio arse tutto lo sacrificio, e la grassa ch' era sopra l'altare. E la gente vedendo questo, lodarano Iddio tutti temendo con grande riverenza.
