1 Sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth.	1 (Di David, quando gli fu restituito il suo dominio). Il Signore regna! Esulti la terra, si rallegrino le molte isole.
2 Sing to the LORD, bless his name; announce his salvation day after day.	2 Una densa nube lo circonda, la giustizia e l'equità son la base del suo trono.
3 Tell God's glory among the nations; among all peoples, God's marvelous deeds.	3 Il fuoco gli va dinanzi e abbrucia tutto all'intorno i suoi nemici.
4 For great is the LORD and highly to be praised, to be feared above all gods.	4 Lampeggiano i suoi fulmini sull'universo, la terra trema al vederli
5 For the gods of the nations all do nothing, but the LORD made the heavens.	5 I monti si struggono corno cera davanti al Signore, davanti al Signore tutta la terra.
6 Splendor and power go before him; power and grandeur are in his holy place.	6 I cieli hanno annunziata la sua giustizia e tutti i popoli han veduta la sua gloria.
7 Give to the LORD, you families of nations, give to the LORD glory and might;	7 Si vergognino tutti gli adoratori di statue, o quelli che ventano i loro idoli. Adoratelo voi tutti, o angeli suoi.
8 give to the LORD the glory due his name! Bring gifts and enter his courts;	8 Udì Sionne e ne ebbe allegrezza, ed esultarono le figliole di Giuda per ragione? dei tuoi giudizi, o Signore.
9 bow down to the LORD, splendid in holiness. Tremble before God, all the earth;	9 Perchè tu sei l'Altissimo Signore sopra tutta la terra, sovranamente esaltato sopra tutti gli dèi.
10 say among the nations: The LORD is king. The world will surely stand fast, never to be moved. God rules the peoples with fairness.	10 Voi che amate il Signore, odiate il male. Il Signore custodisce le anime dei suoi santi e le libera dalle inani del peccatore.
11 Let the heavens be glad and the earth rejoice; let the sea and what fills it resound;	11 E' spuntata la luce pel giusto e la gioia pei retti di cuore.
12 let the plains be joyful and all that is in them. Then let all the trees of the forest rejoice	12 Rallegratevi nel Signore, o giusti, e celebrate la memoria della sua santità.
13 before the LORD who comes, who comes to govern the earth, To govern the world with justice and the peoples with faithfulness.
