1 A psalm of the Korahites. A song. The LORD loves the city founded on holy mountains,	1 Kóré fiainak zsoltára. Ének. Szent hegyeken vetette meg alapjait,
2 Loves the gates of Zion more than any dwelling in Jacob.	2 jobban szereti Sion kapuit az Úr, mint Jákob többi hajlékát.
3 Glorious things are said of you, O city of God! Selah	3 Dicsőséges dolgokat mond rólad, Isten városa!
4 From Babylon and Egypt I count those who acknowledge the LORD. Philistia, Ethiopia, Tyre, of them it can be said: "This one was born there."	4 Ráhábot és Babilont azok között említem, akik ismernek engem; Íme Filisztea, Tírusz és Etiópia népe: mind ott született.
5 But of Zion it must be said: "They all were born here." The Most High confirms this;	5 Sionról mondják majd: »Ez is, az is ott született, és maga a Fölséges erősíti meg.«
6 the Lord notes in the register of the peoples: "This one was born here." Selah	6 Bejegyzi majd az Úr, a népek könyvébe: »Ezek itt születtek.«
