1 Of David. To you, LORD, I call; my Rock, do not be deaf to me. If you fail to answer me, I will join those who go down to the pit.	1 De David. Seigneur, mon rocher, je t’appelle, ne fais pas le sourd. Si tu gardes le silence, je serai l’un de ceux qui vont à la fosse.
2 Hear the sound of my pleading when I cry to you, lifting my hands toward your holy place.	2 Écoute ma prière quand je crie vers toi, Seigneur, quand je lève les mains vers ton saint Temple.
3 Do not drag me off with the wicked, with those who do wrong, Who speak peace to their neighbors though evil is in their hearts.	3 Ne me ramasse pas avec les méchants, avec les hommes malfaisants toujours pleins de bonnes paroles alors qu’ils projettent le mal.
4 Repay them for their deeds, for the evil that they do. For the work of their hands repay them; give them what they deserve.	4 Donne-leur ce que valent leurs actes et la méchanceté de leur conduite. Tu leur feras comme ils ont fait, tu leur rendras la pareille.
5 They pay no heed to the LORD'S works, to the deeds of God's hands. God will tear them down, never to be rebuilt.	5 S’ils veulent ignorer les choses du Seigneur, tout ce que fait sa main, il ira chez eux pour détruire, non pour bâtir.
6 Blessed be the LORD, who has heard the sound of my pleading.	6 Béni soit le Seigneur! Il a entendu ma prière.
7 The LORD is my strength and my shield, in whom my heart trusted and found help. So my heart rejoices; with my song I praise my God.	7 Le Seigneur est ma force, mon bouclier: mon cœur était sûr de lui, il m’a secouru. Mon cœur en est plein de joie, je le chante, je le louerai encore.
8 LORD, you are the strength of your people, the saving refuge of your anointed king.	8 Le Seigneur est la force de son peuple, il est pour son roi un refuge assuré.
9 Save your people, bless your inheritance; feed and sustain them forever!	9 Sauve ton peuple et bénis ton héritage, sois leur pasteur et porte-les à jamais!
