1 A song of ascents. I raise my eyes toward the mountains. From where will my help come?	1 שיר למעלות אשא עיני אל ההרים מאין יבא עזרי
2 My help comes from the LORD, the maker of heaven and earth.	2 עזרי מעם יהוה עשה שמים וארץ
3 God will not allow your foot to slip; your guardian does not sleep.	3 אל יתן למוט רגלך אל ינום שמרך
4 Truly, the guardian of Israel never slumbers nor sleeps.	4 הנה לא ינום ולא יישן שומר ישראל
5 The LORD is your guardian; the LORD is your shade at your righthand.	5 יהוה שמרך יהוה צלך על יד ימינך
6 By day the sun cannot harm you, nor the moon by night.	6 יומם השמש לא יככה וירח בלילה
7 The LORD will guard you from all evil, will always guard your life.	7 יהוה ישמרך מכל רע ישמר את נפשך
8 The LORD will guard your coming and going both now and forever.	8 יהוה ישמר צאתך ובואך מעתה ועד עולם
