Leviticus 1

1 And the LORD called unto Moses, and spake unto him out of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying,	1 Chiamd (Iddio) Moisè, e parlò a lui il Signore dello tabernacolo della testimonianza, e disse:
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man of you bring an offering unto the LORD, ye shall bring your offering of the cattle, even of the herd, and of the flock.	2 Parla alli figliuoli d'Israel, e di'a loro: chi di voi offerirà sacrificio a Dio, cioè di pecore e di buoi, offerendo la oblazione;
3 If his offering be a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD.	3 e se lo sacrificio sarà sua oblazione, e sia maschio della greggia senza macula, offeralo alla porta di questo tabernacolo della testimonianza, a pacificar Iddio verso lui.
4 And he shall put his hand upon the head of the burnt offering; and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him.	4 Egli porrà la mano sopra lo capo di questo sacrificio, e sarà accettabile a Dio, e sarà utile alla sua purgazione.
5 And he shall kill the bullock before the LORD: and the priests, Aaron's sons, shall bring the blood, and sprinkle the blood round about upon the altar that is by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.	5 E (costui che offerirà questo sacrificio, e) offerrà il vitello a Dio, e lo sangue darà ai figliuoli d'Aaron sacerdote; e loro (l'offeriranno e) lo spargeranno intorno all'altare che è dinanzi alla porta del tabernacolo.
6 And he shall flay the burnt offering, and cut it into his pieces.	6 E levata la pelle della bestia, tutti li membri tagliati gli strignano insieme.
7 And the sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire upon the altar, and lay the wood in order upon the fire:	7 E piglieranno le legne, e il fuoco accende ranno sopra l'altare.
8 And the priests, Aaron's sons, shall lay the parts, the head, and the fat, in order upon the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar:	8 Li membri tagliati e accozzi insieme, il capo (e il polmone), e tutte le cose che si accostan (al cuore e) al fegato,
9 But his inwards and his legs shall he wash in water: and the priest shall burn all on the altar, to be a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.	9 e le budella ei piedi lavati coll'acqua, lo sacerdote arderà sopra questo luogo dell' altare in sacrificio; e sarà grande odore a Dio.
10 And if his offering be of the flocks, namely, of the sheep, or of the goats, for a burnt sacrifice; he shall bring it a male without blemish.	10 E se lo sacrificio sarà di pecore, ovvero di capre, faccia che sia [maschio] d'uno anno; e senza macula Offeralo.
11 And he shall kill it on the side of the altar northward before the LORD: and the priests, Aaron's sons, shall sprinkle his blood round about upon the altar.	11 E sacrificherallo a lato dell' altare, che ra guarda ad acquilone, per sacrificio a Dio; lo sangue di questa bestia li figliuoli d'Aaron lo verseranno sopra l'altare per lo circuito.
12 And he shall cut it into his pieces, with his head and his fat: and the priest shall lay them in order on the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar:	12 E divideranno lo capo e le membra e ciò che istà presso allo fegato, e sì lo porranno sopra le legne dove si dee mettere lo fuoco.
13 But he shall wash the inwards and the legs with water: and the priest shall bring it all, and burn it upon the altar: it is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.	13 E le budella e li piedi laveranno coll'acqua; e offerto ogni cosa, lo sacerdote l'arderà in sacrificio sopra l'altare; e sarà a Dio soave odore.
14 And if the burnt sacrifice for his offering to the LORD be of fowls, then he shall bring his offering of turtledoves, or of young pigeons.	14 E se di uccelli sarà la oblazione del sacrificio al Signore, cioè di tortore o di pippioni,
15 And the priest shall bring it unto the altar, and wring off his head, and burn it on the altar; and the blood thereof shall be wrung out at the side of the altar:	15 lo prete lo offerrà all'altare; e torto il capo al collo, rompalo in una parte, sicchè lo sangue n'esca, e pongalo sopra lo circuito dell' altare.
16 And he shall pluck away his crop with his feathers, and cast it beside the altar on the east part, by the place of the ashes:	16 La vescica della gola e le penne sì le getti presso all'altare, che risponde verso ad oriente, colà dove la cenere suole gettare.
17 And he shall cleave it with the wings thereof, but shall not divide it asunder: and the priest shall burn it upon the altar, upon the wood that is upon the fire: it is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.	17 Le ale loro sì le rompa, e non le sechi ovver tagli con coltello. E arderalle sopra l'altare, posto il fuoco sotto le legna. Sacrificio è, e oblazione sarà a Dio di soave odore.
