1 Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him.	1 Unto the end, a psalm of a canticle for David himself.
2 As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.	2 Let God arise, and let his enemies be scattered: and let them that hate him flee from before his face.
3 But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.	3 As smoke vanisheth, so let them vanish away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.
4 Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him.	4 And let the just feast, and rejoice before God: and be delighted with gladness.
5 A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.	5 Sing ye to God, sing a psalm to his name, make a way for him who ascendeth upon the west: the Lord is his name. Rejoice ye before him: but the wicked shall be troubled at his presence,
6 God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.	6 who is the father of orphans, and the judge of widows. God in his holy place:
7 O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, when thou didst march through the wilderness; Selah:	7 God who maketh men of one manner to dwell in a house: Who bringeth out them that were bound in strength; in like manner them that provoke, that dwell in sepulchres.
8 The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel.	8 O God, when thou didst go forth in the sight of thy people, when thou didst pass through the desert:
9 Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, whereby thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary.	9 The earth was moved, and the heavens dropped at the presence of the God of Sina, at the presence of the God of Israel.
10 Thy congregation hath dwelt therein: thou, O God, hast prepared of thy goodness for the poor.	10 Thou shalt set aside for thy inheritance a free rain, O God: and it was weakened, but thou hast made it perfect.
11 The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.	11 In it shall thy animals dwell; in thy sweetness, O God, thou hast provided for the poor.
12 Kings of armies did flee apace: and she that tarried at home divided the spoil.	12 The Lord shall give the word to them that preach good tidings with great power.
13 Though ye have lien among the pots, yet shall ye be as the wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with yellow gold.	13 The king of powers is of the beloved, of the beloved; and the beauty of the house shall divide spoils.
14 When the Almighty scattered kings in it, it was white as snow in Salmon.	14 If you sleep among the midst of lots, you shall be as the wings of a dove covered with silver, and the hinder parts of her back with the paleness of gold.
15 The hill of God is as the hill of Bashan; an high hill as the hill of Bashan.	15 When he that is in heaven appointeth kings over her, they shall be whited with snow in Selmon.
16 Why leap ye, ye high hills? this is the hill which God desireth to dwell in; yea, the LORD will dwell in it for ever.	16 The mountain of God is a fat mountain. A curdled mountain, a fat mountain.
17 The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.	17 Why suspect, ye curdled mountains? A mountain in which God is well pleased to dwell: for there the Lord shall dwell unto the end.
18 Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them.	18 The chariot of God is attended by ten thousands; thousands of them that rejoice: the Lord is among them in Sina, in the holy place.
19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.	19 Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive; thou hast received gifts in men. Yea for those also that do not believe, the dwelling of the Lord God.
20 He that is our God is the God of salvation; and unto God the Lord belong the issues from death.	20 Blessed be the Lord day by day: the God of our salvation will make our journey prosperous to us.
21 But God shall wound the head of his enemies, and the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth on still in his trespasses.	21 Our God is the God of salvation: and of the Lord, of the Lord are the issues from death.
22 The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring my people again from the depths of the sea:	22 But God shall break the heads of his enemies: the hairy crown of them that walk on in their sins.
23 That thy foot may be dipped in the blood of thine enemies, and the tongue of thy dogs in the same.	23 The Lord said: I will turn them from Basan, I will turn them into the depth of the sea:
24 They have seen thy goings, O God; even the goings of my God, my King, in the sanctuary.	24 That thy foot may be dipped in the blood of thy enemies; the tongue of thy dogs be red with the same.
25 The singers went before, the players on instruments followed after; among them were the damsels playing with timbrels.	25 They have seen thy goings, O God, the goings of my God: of my king who is in his sanctuary.
26 Bless ye God in the congregations, even the Lord, from the fountain of Israel.	26 Princes went before joined with singers, in the midst of young damsels playing on timbrels.
27 There is little Benjamin with their ruler, the princes of Judah and their council, the princes of Zebulun, and the princes of Naphtali.	27 In the churches bless ye God the Lord, from the fountains of Israel.
28 Thy God hath commanded thy strength: strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us.	28 There is Benjamin a youth, in ecstasy of mind. The princes of Juda are their leaders: the princes of Zabulon, the princes of Nephthali.
29 Because of thy temple at Jerusalem shall kings bring presents unto thee.	29 Command thy strength, O God: confirm, O God, what thou hast wrought in us.
30 Rebuke the company of spearmen, the multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the people, till every one submit himself with pieces of silver: scatter thou the people that delight in war.	30 From thy temple in Jerusalem, kings shall offer presents to thee.
31 Princes shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall soon stretch out her hands unto God.	31 Rebuke the wild beasts of the reeds, the congregation of bulls with the kine of the people; who seek to exclude them who are tried with silver. Scatter thou the nations that delight in wars:
32 Sing unto God, ye kingdoms of the earth; O sing praises unto the Lord; Selah:	32 ambassadors shall come out of Egypt: Ethiopia shall soon stretch out her hands to God.
33 To him that rideth upon the heavens of heavens, which were of old; lo, he doth send out his voice, and that a mighty voice.	33 Sing to God, ye kingdoms of the earth: sing ye to the Lord: Sing ye to God,
34 Ascribe ye strength unto God: his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the clouds.	34 who mounteth above the heaven of heavens, to the east. Behold he will give to his voice the voice of power:
35 O God, thou art terrible out of thy holy places: the God of Israel is he that giveth strength and power unto his people. Blessed be God.	35 give ye glory to God for Israel, his magnificence, and his power is in the clouds.
	36 God is wonderful in his saints: the God of Israel is he who will give power and strength to his people. Blessed be God.
