1 And it came to pass at the end of twenty years, wherein Solomon had built the house of the LORD, and his own house,	1 Compiuti i XX anni, poichè Salomone edificoe la casa del Signore e la casa sua,
2 That the cities which Huram had restored to Solomon, Solomon built them, and caused the children of Israel to dwell there.	2 edificoe le cittadi le quali Iram avea dato a Salomone, e fecevi abitare i figliuoli d' Israel.
3 And Solomon went to Hamath-zobah, and prevailed against it.	3 E andossene in Emat Suba, ed ebbela.
4 And he built Tadmor in the wilderness, and all the store cities, which he built in Hamath.	4 E nel deserto edificoe Palmira; e altre cittadi fortissime edificoe in Emat.
5 Also he built Beth-horon the upper, and Beth-horon the nether, fenced cities, with walls, gates, and bars;	5 E fece Betoron di sopra, e Betoron di sotto, cittadi fornite, le quali aveano porte e stanghe e serrature;
6 And Baalath, and all the store cities that Solomon had, and all the chariot cities, and the cities of the horsemen, and all that Solomon desired to build in Jerusalem, and in Lebanon, and throughout all the land of his dominion.	6 e anco Balaat, e tutte le cittadi fortissime, ch' erano di Salomone, e tutte le cittadi delle quadrighe e le cittadi de' cavalieri; e tutte le cose, che Salomone volse e dispose (nel suo cuore), tutte fece in Ierusalem e nel Libano, e in tutta la terra della sua podestà.
7 As for all the people that were left of the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which were not of Israel,	7 E tutto il popolo il quale era rimaso degli Etei e degli Amorrei e de' Ferezei e degli Evei e e degli Iebusei, i quali non erano della stirpe d' Israel;
8 But of their children, who were left after them in the land, whom the children of Israel consumed not, them did Solomon make to pay tribute until this day.	8 de' loro figliuoli e de' loro successori, i quali non aveano morti i figliuoli d' Israel, soggiogò Salomone in tributarii, insino al dì presente.
9 But of the children of Israel did Solomon make no servants for his work; but they were men of war, and chief of his captains, and captains of his chariots and horsemen.	9 Ma de' figliuoli d' Israel non puose a servire nelle opere del re; ma erano uomini combattitori e primi duchi e principi delle quadrighe e de' suoi cavalieri.
10 And these were the chief of king Solomon's officers, even two hundred and fifty, that bare rule over the people.	10 E furono tutti i prìncipi dello esercito di Salomone CCL, i quali ammaestravano il popolo.
11 And Solomon brought up the daughter of Pharaoh out of the city of David unto the house that he had built for her: for he said, My wife shall not dwell in the house of David king of Israel, because the places are holy, whereunto the ark of the LORD hath come.	11 E la figliuola di Faraone tolse della città di David, e menolla nella casa la quale gli avea edificata. E disse il re: non abiterà la mia moglie nella casa di David re d'Israel, però ch' ella è santificata; imperciò che l'arca di Dio entrò in quella.
12 Then Solomon offered burnt offerings unto the LORD on the altar of the LORD, which he had built before the porch,	12 E allotta Salomone offerse olocausti a Dio sopra l'altare del Signore, il quale avea fatto dinanzi al portico,
13 Even after a certain rate every day, offering according to the commandment of Moses, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts, three times in the year, even in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles.	13 acciò che ogni di fosse offerto sopra quello secondo il comandamento di Moisè, nei sabbati e nelle calende e nelli dì festivi, tre volte per anno, cioè nella solennità degli azimi e nella solennità dell' ebdomade e nella solennità del tabernacolo.
14 And he appointed, according to the order of David his father, the courses of the priests to their service, and the Levites to their charges, to praise and minister before the priests, as the duty of every day required: the porters also by their courses at every gate: for so had David the man of God commanded.	14 E ordinò, secondo l'ordine del suo padre David, gli ufficii (de' padri) de' sacerdoti ne' loro ministerii; e i leviti nell' ordine suo, che laudassi e ministrassi in cospetto de' sacerdoti, secondo l' ordine di ciascuno dì; e portieri per ogni porta, secondo che toccava; però che così avea comandato l' uomo. di Dio, David.
15 And they departed not from the commandment of the king unto the priests and Levites concerning any matter, or concerning the treasures.	15 E non passarono de' comandamenti del re così i sacerdoti come i leviti, di tutte le cose le quali avea comandato, e nelle guardie de' tesori.
16 Now all the work of Solomon was prepared unto the day of the foundation of the house of the LORD, and until it was finished. So the house of the LORD was perfected.	16 Ed ebbe apparecchiate Salomone tutte le cose ch' erano bisogno, dal dì che fondoe la casa del Signore insino al dì che l'ebbe fornita.
17 Then went Solomon to Ezion-geber, and to Eloth, at the sea side in the land of Edom.	17 E allora se n'andoe Salomone in Asiongaber e Ailat al lato il mare rosso, il quale è nella terra di Edom.
18 And Huram sent him by the hands of his servants ships, and servants that had knowledge of the sea; and they went with the servants of Solomon to Ophir, and took thence four hundred and fifty talents of gold, and brought them to king Solomon.	18 E mandogli Iram, per gli servi suoi, navi e marinai (savii e) dotti di mare; e andarono in Ofir co' servi di Salomone, e tolsero indi CCCCL talenti d'oro, e portarongli al re Salomone.
