1 Du maître de chant. Psaume de David.	1 Unto the end, a psalm for David. How long, O Lord, wilt thou forget me unto the end? how long dost thou turn away thy face from me?
2 Jusques à quand, Yahvé, m'oublieras-tu? Jusqu'à la fin? Jusques à quand me vas-tu cacher ta face?	2 How long shall I take counsels in my soul, sorrow in my heart all the day?
3 Jusques à quand mettrai-je en mon âme la révolte, en mon coeur le chagrin, de jour et de nuit?Jusques à quand mon adversaire aura-t-il le dessus?	3 How long shall my enemy be exalted over me?
4 Regarde, réponds-moi, Yahvé mon Dieu! Illumine mes yeux, que dans la mort je ne m'endorme.	4 Consider, and hear me, O Lord my God. Enlighten my eyes that I never sleep in death:
5 Que l'adversaire ne dise: "Je l'emporte sur lui", que mes oppresseurs n'exultent à me voir chanceler!	5 lest at any time my enemy say: I have prevailed against him. They that trouble me will rejoice when I am moved:
6 Pour moi, en ton amour je me confie; que mon coeur exulte, admis en ton salut, que je chante àYahvé pour le bien qu'il m'a fait, que je joue pour le nom de Yahvé le Très-Haut!	6 but I have trusted in thy mercy. My heart shall rejoice in thy salvation: I will sing to the Lord, who giveth me good things: yea I will sing to the name of the Lord the most high.
