1 Bratoljublje neka je trajno!	1 Continue to love each other like brothers,
2 Gostoljublja ne zaboravljajte: njime neki, i ne znajući, ugostiše anđele!	2 and remember always to welcome strangers, for by doing this, some people have entertained angelswithout knowing it.
3 Sjećajte se uznika kao suuznici; zlostavljanih – ta i sami ste u tijelu!	3 Keep in mind those who are in prison, as though you were in prison with them; and those who arebeing badly treated, since you too are in the body.
4 Ženidba neka bude u časti u sviju i postelja neokaljana! Jer bludnicima će i preljubnicima suditi Bog.	4 Marriage must be honoured by al , and marriages must be kept undefiled, because the sexuallyimmoral and adulterers wil come under God's judgement.
5 U življenju ne budite srebroljupci, zadovoljni onim što imate! Ta on je rekao: Ne, neću te zapustiti i neću te ostaviti.	5 Put avarice out of your lives and be content with whatever you have; God himself has said: I shal notfail you or desert you,
6 Zato možemo pouzdano reći: Gospodin mi je pomoćnik, ja ne strahujem: što mi tko može?	6 and so we can say with confidence: With the Lord on my side, I fear nothing: what can human beingsdo to me?
7 Spominjite se svojih glavara koji su vam navješćivali riječ Božju: promatrajući kraj njihova života, nasljedujte njihovu vjeru.	7 Remember your leaders, who preached the word of God to you, and as you reflect on the outcome oftheir lives, take their faith as your model.
8 Isus Krist jučer i danas isti je – i uvijeke.	8 Jesus Christ is the same today as he was yesterday and as he wil be for ever.
9 Ne dajte se zanijeti različitim tuđim naucima! Jer bolje je srce utvrđivati milošću nego jelima, koja nisu koristila onima što su ih obdržavali.	9 Do not be led astray by al sorts of strange doctrines: it is better to rely on grace for inner strength thanon food, which has done no good to those who concentrate on it.
10 Imamo žrtvenik s kojega nemaju pravo jesti služitelji Šatora.	10 We have our own altar from which those who serve the Tent have no right to eat.
11 Jer tijela životinja, kojih krv veliki svećenik unosi za grijeh u Svetinju, spaljuju se izvan tabora.	11 The bodies of the animals whose blood is taken into the sanctuary by the high priest for the rite ofexpiation are burnt outside the camp,
12 Zato i Isus, da bi vlastitom krvlju posvetio narod, trpio je izvan vrata.	12 and so Jesus too suffered outside the gate to sanctify the people with his own blood.
13 Stoga iziđimo k njemu izvan tabora noseći njegovu muku	13 Let us go to him, then, outside the camp, and bear his humiliation.
14 jer nemamo ovdje trajna grada, nego onaj budući tražimo.	14 There is no permanent city for us here; we are looking for the one which is yet to be.
15 Po njemu dakle neprestano prinosimo Bogu žrtvu hvalbenu, to jest plod usana što ispovijedaju ime njegovo.	15 Through him, let us offer God an unending sacrifice of praise, the fruit of the lips of those whoacknowledge his name.
16 Dobrotvornosti i zajedništva ne zaboravljajte jer takve su žrtve mile Bogu!	16 Keep doing good works and sharing your resources, for these are the kinds of sacrifice that pleaseGod.
17 Poslušni budite svojim glavarima i podložni jer oni bdiju nad vašim dušama kao oni koji će polagati račun; neka to čine s radošću, a ne uzdišući jer vam to ne bi bilo korisno.	17 Obey your leaders and give way to them; they watch over your souls because they must give anaccount of them; make this a joy for them to do, and not a grief -- you yourselves would be the losers.
18 Molite za nas! Uvjereni smo doista da imamo dobru savjest i u svemu se želimo dobro ponašati.	18 Pray for us; we are sure that our own conscience is clear and we are certainly determined to behavehonourably in everything we do.
19 Usrdnije vas pak molim: učinite to kako bih vam se što brže vratio.	19 I ask you very particularly to pray that I may come back to you all the sooner.
20 A Bog mira, koji po krvi vječnoga Saveza od mrtvih izvede velikoga Pastira ovaca, Gospodina našega Isusa,	20 I pray that the God of peace, who brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd ofthe sheep, by the blood that sealed an eternal covenant,
21 osposobio vas za svako dobro djelo da vršite volju njegovu, činio u nama što je njemu milo, po Isusu Kristu, komu slava u vijeke vjekova. Amen.	21 may prepare you to do his wil in every kind of good action; effecting in us al whatever is acceptableto himself through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
22 Molim vas, braćo, podnesite ovu riječ ohrabrenja: ta samo vam ukratko napisah!	22 I urge you, brothers, to take these words of encouragement kindly; that is why I have written to youbriefly.
23 Znajte: naš je brat Timotej oslobođen. Ako uskoro stigne, s njime ću vas pohoditi.	23 I want you to know that our brother Timothy has been set free. If he arrives in time, he will be with mewhen I see you.
24 Pozdravite sve svoje glavare i sve svete! Pozdravljaju vas ovi iz Italije.	24 Greetings to al your leaders and to al God's holy people. God's holy people in Italy send yougreetings.
