Jeremiah 28

1 And it came to pass in that year, in the beginning of the reign of Sedecias king of Juda, in the fourth year, in the fifth month, that Hananias the son of Azur, a prophet of Gabaon spoke to me, in the house of the Lord before the priests, and all the people, saying:	1 Im selben Jahr, im Anfang der Regierung Zidkijas, des Königs von Juda, im fünften Monat des vierten Jahres, sagte der Prophet Hananja, der Sohn Asurs aus Gibeon, im Haus des Herrn vor den Priestern und dem ganzen Volk zu Jeremia:
2 Thus saith the Lord of hosts the God of Israel: I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon.	2 So spricht der Herr der Heere, der Gott Israels: Ich zerbreche das Joch des Königs von Babel.
3 As yet two years of days, and I will cause all the vessels of the house of the Lord to be brought back into this place, which Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon took away from this place, and carried them to Babylon.	3 Noch zwei Jahre und ich bringe alle Geräte des Hauses des Herrn, die Nebukadnezzar, der König von Babel, von diesem Ort weggenommen und nach Babel gebracht hat, wieder an diesen Ort zurück.
4 And I will bring back to this place Jechonias the son of Joakim king of Juda, and all the captives of Juda, that are gone to Babylon, saith the Lord: for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.	4 Auch Jojachin, den Sohn Jojakims, den König von Juda, samt allen Verschleppten aus Juda, die nach Babel gebracht wurden, führe ich an diesen Ort zurück - Spruch des Herrn -; denn ich zerbreche das Joch des Königs von Babel.
5 And Jeremias the prophet said to Hananias the prophet in the presence of the priests, and in the presence of all the people that stood in the house of the Lord:	5 Der Prophet Jeremia antwortete dem Propheten Hananja vor den Priestern und vor dem ganzen Volk, das im Haus des Herrn stand.
6 And Jeremias the prophet said: Amen, the Lord do so: the Lord perform thy words, which thou hast prophesied: that the vessels may be brought again into the house of the Lord, and all the captives may return out of Babylon to this place.	6 Der Prophet Jeremia sagte: Ganz recht! Mag der Herr so tun. Der Herr erfülle deine Worte, die du verkündet hast, und bringe die Geräte des Hauses des Herrn und alle Verschleppten aus Babel zurück an diesen Ort.
7 Nevertheless hear this word that I speak in thy ears, and in the ears of all the people:	7 Doch höre das Wort, das ich dir und dem ganzen Volk in die Ohren rufe:
8 The prophets that have been before me, and before thee from the beginning, and have prophesied concerning many countries, and concerning great kingdoms, of war, and of affliction, and of famine.	8 Die Propheten, die vor mir und vor dir je gelebt haben, weissagten Krieg, Unheil und Pest gegen viele Länder und mächtige Reiche.
9 The prophet that prophesied peace when his word shall come to pass, the prophet shall be known, whom the Lord hath sent in truth.	9 Der Prophet aber, der Heil weissagt - an der Erfüllung des prophetischen Wortes erkennt man den Propheten, den der Herr wirklich gesandt hat.
10 And Hananias the prophet took the chain from the neck of Jeremias the prophet, and broke it.	10 Da nahm der Prophet Hananja das Jochholz vom Nacken des Propheten Jeremia und brach es entzwei.
11 And Hananias spoke in the presence of all the people, saying: Thus saith the Lord: Even so will I break the yoke of Nabuchodonosor the king of Babylon after two full years from off the neck of all the nations.	11 Vor dem ganzen Volk erklärte Hananja: So spricht der Herr: Ebenso nehme ich binnen zwei Jahren das Joch Nebukadnezzars, des Königs von Babel, vom Nacken aller Völker und zerbreche es. Der Prophet Jeremia ging seines Weges.
12 And Jeremias the prophet went his way. And the word of the Lord came to Jeremias, after that Hananias the prophet had broken the chain from off the neck of Jeremias the prophet, saying:	12 Nachdem nun der Prophet Hananja das Jochholz vom Nacken des Propheten Jeremia genommen und zerbrochen hatte, erging das Wort des Herrn an Jeremia:
13 Go, and tell Hananias: Thus saith the Lord: Thou hast broken chains of wood, and thou shalt make for them chains of iron.	13 Geh und sag zu Hananja: So spricht der Herr: Jochstangen aus Holz hast du zerbrochen, dafür aber musst du nun Jochstangen aus Eisen machen.
14 For thus saith the Lord of hosts the God of Israel: I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, to serve Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon, and they shall serve him: moreover also I have given him the beasts of the earth.	14 Denn so spricht der Herr der Heere, der Gott Israels: Ein eisernes Joch habe ich auf den Nacken aller dieser Völker gelegt; sie müssen Nebukadnezzar, dem König von Babel, untertan sein. [Sie werden ihm untertan sein und auch die Tiere des Feldes gebe ich ihm.]
15 And Jeremias the prophet said to Hananias the prophet: Hear now, Hananias: the Lord hath not sent thee, and thou hast made this people to trust in a lie.	15 Der Prophet Jeremia sagte also zum Propheten Hananja: Höre, Hananja! Der Herr hat dich nicht gesandt und du hast dieses Volk dazu verführt, auf Lügen zu vertrauen.
16 Therefore thus saith the Lord: Behold I will send thee away from off the face of the earth: this year shalt thou die: for thou hast spoken against the Lord.	16 Darum - so spricht der Herr: Siehe, ich schaffe dich vom Erdboden fort. Noch in diesem Jahr bist du tot; denn du hast Auflehnung gegen den Herrn gepredigt.
17 And Hananias the prophet died in that year, in the seventh month.	17 Im siebten Monat desselben Jahres starb der Prophet Hananja.
