Isaiah 60

1 Arise, be enlightened, O Jerusalem: for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.	1 Σηκωθητι, φωτιζου? διοτι το φως σου ηλθε, και η δοξα του Κυριου ανετειλεν επι σε.
2 For behold darkness shall cover the earth, and a mist the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.	2 Διοτι ιδου, σκοτος θελει σκεπασει την γην και ζοφος τα εθνη? επι σε ομως θελει ανατειλει ο Κυριος και η δοξα αυτου θελει φανερωθη επι σε.
3 And the Gentiles shall walk in thy light, and kings in the brightness of thy rising.	3 Και τα εθνη θελουσιν ελθει εις το φως σου και οι βασιλεις εις την λαμψιν της ανατολης σου.
4 Lift up thy eyes round about, and see: all these are gathered together, they are come to thee: thy sons shah come from afar, and thy daughters shall rise up at thy side.	4 Υψωσον κυκλω τους οφθαλμους σου και ιδε? παντες ουτοι συναθροιζονται, ερχονται προς σε? οι υιοι σου θελουσιν ελθει μακροθεν και αι θυγατερες σου θελουσι τραφη εις τα πλευρα σου.
5 Then shalt thou see, and abound, and thy heart shall wonder and be enlarged, when the multitude of the sea shall be converted to thee, the. strength of the Gentiles shall come to thee.	5 Τοτε θελεις ιδει και χαρη, και η καρδια σου θελει εκπλαγη και πλατυνθη? διοτι η αφθονια της θαλασσης θελει στραφη προς σε? αι δυναμεις των εθνων θελουσιν ελθει προς σε.
6 The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries of Madian and Epha: all they from Saba shall come, bringing gold and frankincense: and shewing forth praise to the Lord.	6 Πληθος καμηλων θελει σε σκεπασει, αι δρομαδες του Μαδιαμ και του Γεφα? παντες οι απο Σεβα βελουσιν ελθει? χρυσιον και λιβανον θελουσι φερει? και θελουσιν ευαγγελιζεσθαι τους επαινους του Κυριου.
7 All the flocks of Cedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nabaioth shall minister to thee: they shall be offered upon my acceptable altar, and I will glorify the house of my majesty.	7 Παντα τα προβατα του Κηδαρ θελουσι συναχθη προς σε? οι κριοι του Νεβαιωθ θελουσιν εισθαι εις χρησιν σου? θελουσι προσφερθη επι το θυσιαστηριον μου ευπροσδεκτοι, και εγω θελω δοξασει τον οικον της δοξης μου.
8 Who are these, that fly as clouds, and as doves to their windows?	8 Τινες ειναι οι πετωμενοι ως νεφη και ως περιστεραι εις τας θυριδας αυτων;
9 For, the islands wait for me, and the ships of the sea in the beginning: that I may bring thy sons from afar: their silver, and their gold with them, to the name of the Lord thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he hath glorified thee.	9 Αι νησοι βεβαιως θελουσι προσμεινει εμε και εν πρωτοις τα πλοια της Θαρσεις, δια να φερωσι μακροθεν τους υιους σου, το αργυριον αυτων και το χρυσιον αυτων μετ' αυτων, δια το ονομα Κυριου του Θεου σου και δια τον Αγιον του Ισραηλ, διοτι σε εδοξασε.
10 And the children of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister to thee: for in my wrath have I struck thee, and in my reconciliation have I had mercy upon thee.	10 Και οι υιοι των αλλογενων θελουσιν ανοικοδομησει τα τειχη σου, και οι βασιλεις αυτων θελουσι σε υπηρετησει? διοτι εν τη οργη μου σε επαταξα, πλην δια την ευνοιαν μου σε ηλεησα.
11 And thy gates shall be open continually: they shall not be shut day nor night, that the strength of the Gentiles may be brought to thee, and their kings may be brought.	11 Και αι πυλαι σου θελουσιν εισθαι παντοτε ανοικται? δεν θελουσι κλεισθη ημεραν και νυκτα, δια να εισαγωσιν εις σε τας δυναμεις των εθνων και να εισφερωνται οι βασιλεις αυτων.
12 For the nation and the kingdom that will not serve thee, shall perish: and the Gentiles shall be wasted with desolation.	12 Διοτι το εθνος και η βασιλεια, τα οποια δεν ηθελον σε δουλευσει, θελουσιν αφανισθη? ναι, τα εθνη εκεινα θελουσιν ολοκληρως ερημωθη.
13 The glory of Libanus shall come to thee, the Ar tree, and the box tree, and the pine tree together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary: and I will glorify the place of my feet.	13 Η δοξα του Λιβανου θελει η ελθει εις σε, η ελατος, η πευκη και ο πυξος ομου, δια να στολισωσι τον τοπον του αγιαστηριου μου? και θελω δοξασει τον τοπον των ποδων μου.
14 And the children of them that afflict thee, shall come bowing down to thee, and all that slandered thee shall worship the steps of thy feet, and shall call thee the city of the Lord, the Sion of the Holy One of Israel.	14 Και τα τεκνα των λυπησαντων σε θελουσιν ελθει υποκλινοντα προς σε? και παντες οι καταφρονησαντες σε θελουσι προσκυνησει τα ιχνη των ποδων σου? και θελουσι σε ονομαζει, Η πολις του Κυριου, Η Σιων του Αγιου του Ισραηλ.
15 Because thou wast forsaken, and hated, and there was none that passed through thee, I will make thee to be an everlasting glory, a joy unto generation and generation:	15 Αντι του οτι εγκατελειφθης και εμισηθης, ωστε ουδεις διεβαινε δια μεσου σου, θελω σε καταστησει αιωνιον αγαλλιαμα, ευφροσυνην εις γενεας γενεων.
16 And thou shalt suck the milk of the Gentiles, and thou shalt be nursed with the breasts of kings: and thou shalt know that I am the Lord thy Saviour, and thy Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.	16 Και θελεις θηλασει το γαλα των εθνων και θελεις θηλασει τους μαστους των βασιλεων? και θελεις γνωρισει οτι εγω ο Κυριος ειμαι ο Σωτηρ σου και ο Λυτρωτης σου, ο Ισχυρος του Ιακωβ.
17 For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver: and for wood brass, and for stones iron: and I will make thy visitation peace, and thy overseers justice.	17 Αντι χαλκου θελω φερει χρυσιον και αντι σιδηρου θελω φερει αργυριον και αντι ξυλου χαλκον και αντι λιθων σιδηρον? και θελω καταστησει τους αρχηγους σου ειρηνην και τους επιστατας σου δικαιοσυνην.
18 Iniquity shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction in thy borders, and salvation shall possess thy walls, and praise thy gates.	18 Δεν θελει πλεον ακουεσθαι βια εν τη γη σου, ερημωσις και καταστροφη εν τοις οριοις σου? αλλα θελεις ονομαζει τα τειχη σου Σωτηριαν και τας πυλας σου Αινεσιν.
19 Thou shalt no more have the sun for thy light by day, neither shall the brightness of the moon enlighten thee: but the Lord shall be unto thee for an everlasting light, and thy God for thy glory.	19 Δεν θελει εισθαι πλεον εν σοι ο ηλιος φως της ημερας, ουδε η σεληνη δια της λαμψεως αυτης θελει σε φωτιζει? αλλ' ο Κυριος θελει εισθαι εις σε φως αιωνιον και ο Θεος σου η δοξα σου.
20 Thy sun shall go down no more, and thy moon shall not decrease: for the Lord shall be unto thee for an everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.	20 Ο ηλιος σου δεν θελει δυει πλεον ουδε θελει λειψει η σεληνη σου? διοτι ο Κυριος θελει εισθαι το αιωνιον σου φως, και αι ημεραι του πενθους σου θελουσι τελειωθη.
21 And thy people shall be all just, they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hand to glorify me.	21 Και ο λαος σου θελουσιν εισθαι παντες δικαιοι? θελουσι κληρονομησει την γην διαπαντος, ο κλαδος του φυτευματος μου, το εργον των χειρων μου, δια να δοξαζωμαι.
22 The least shall become a thousand, and a little one a most strong nation: I the Lord will suddenly do this thing in its time.	22 Το ελαχιστον θελει γεινει χιλια? και το ολιγοστον ισχυρον εθνος? εγω ο Κυριος θελω επιταχυνει τουτο κατα τον καιρον αυτου.
