1 A canticle for David himself, when the house was built after the captivity. Sing ye to the Lord a new canticle: sing to the Lord, all the earth.	1 (Di David, quando gli fu restituito il suo dominio). Il Signore regna! Esulti la terra, si rallegrino le molte isole.
2 Sing ye to the Lord and bless his name: shew forth his salvation from day to day.	2 Una densa nube lo circonda, la giustizia e l'equità son la base del suo trono.
3 Declare his glory among the Gentiles: his wonders among all people.	3 Il fuoco gli va dinanzi e abbrucia tutto all'intorno i suoi nemici.
4 For the Lord is great, and exceedingly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.	4 Lampeggiano i suoi fulmini sull'universo, la terra trema al vederli
5 For all the gods of the Gentiles are devils: but the Lord made the heavens.	5 I monti si struggono corno cera davanti al Signore, davanti al Signore tutta la terra.
6 Praise and beauty are before him: holiness and majesty in his sanctuary.	6 I cieli hanno annunziata la sua giustizia e tutti i popoli han veduta la sua gloria.
7 Bring ye to the Lord, O ye kindreds of the Gentiles, bring ye to the Lord glory and honour:	7 Si vergognino tutti gli adoratori di statue, o quelli che ventano i loro idoli. Adoratelo voi tutti, o angeli suoi.
8 bring to the Lord glory unto his name. Bring up sacrifices, and come into his courts:	8 Udì Sionne e ne ebbe allegrezza, ed esultarono le figliole di Giuda per ragione? dei tuoi giudizi, o Signore.
9 adore ye the Lord in his holy court. Let all the earth be moved at his presence.	9 Perchè tu sei l'Altissimo Signore sopra tutta la terra, sovranamente esaltato sopra tutti gli dèi.
10 Say ye among the Gentiles, the Lord hath reigned. For he hath corrected the world, which shall not be moved: he will judge the people with justice.	10 Voi che amate il Signore, odiate il male. Il Signore custodisce le anime dei suoi santi e le libera dalle inani del peccatore.
11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad, let the sea be moved, and the fulness thereof:	11 E' spuntata la luce pel giusto e la gioia pei retti di cuore.
12 the fields and all things that are in them shall be joyful. Then shall all the trees of the woods rejoice	12 Rallegratevi nel Signore, o giusti, e celebrate la memoria della sua santità.
13 before the face of the Lord, because he cometh: because he cometh to judge the earth. He shall judge the world with justice, and the people with his truth.
