Psalms 113

1 Praise the Lord, ye children: praise ye the name of the Lord.	1 Hallelujah! Praise, you servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD.
2 Blessed be the name of the Lord, from henceforth now and for ever.	2 Blessed be the name of the LORD both now and forever.
3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same, the name of the Lord is worthy of praise.	3 From the rising of the sun to its setting let the name of the LORD be praised.
4 The Lord is high above all nations; and his glory above the heavens.	4 High above all nations is the LORD; above the heavens God's glory.
5 Who is as the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high:	5 Who is like the LORD, our God enthroned on high,
6 and looketh down on the low things in heaven and in earth?	6 looking down on heaven and earth?
7 Raising up the needy from the earth, and lifting up the poor out of the dunghill::	7 The LORD raises the needy from the dust, lifts the poor from the ash heap,
8 That he may place him with princes, with the princes of his people.	8 Seats them with princes, the princes of the people,
9 Who maketh a barren woman to dwell in a house, the joyful mother of children.	9 Gives the childless wife a home, the joyful mother of children. Hallelujah!
