1 ED Eliasib, sommo sacerdote, e i suoi fratelli sacerdoti, si levarono su, ed edificarono la porta delle pecore; essi la santificarono, e posarono le sue porte; e la santificarono, fino alla torre di Cento, e fino alla torre di Hananeel.	1 Then Eliasib the high priest arose, and his brethren the priests, and they built the flock gate: they sanctified it, and set up the doors thereof, even unto the tower of a hundred cubits they sanctified it unto the tower of Hananeel.
2 Ed allato a lui edificarono gli uomini di Gerico; e allato a loro edificò Zaccur, figliuolo d’Imri.	2 And next to him the men of Jericho built: and next to them built Zachur the son of Amri.
3 Ed i figliuoli di Senaa edificarono la porta de’ pesci; essi le fecero i suoi palchi, e posarono le sue porte, i suoi serrami, e le sue sbarre.	3 But the fish gate the sons of Asnaa built: they covered it, and set up the doors thereof, and tire locks, and the bars. And next to them built Marimuth the son of Urias the son of Accus.
4 Ed allato a loro ristorò Meremot, figliuolo di Uria, figliuolo di Cos; ed allato a loro ristorò Mesullam, figliuolo di Berechia, figliuolo di Mesezabeel; ed allato a loro ristorò Sadoc, figliuolo di Baana.	4 And next to him built Mosollam tile son of Barachias, the sell of Merezebel, and next to them built Sadoc the son of Baana.
5 Ed allato a loro ristorarono i Tecoiti; ma i principali d’infra loro non sottomisero il collo al servigio del lor Signore.	5 And next to them the Thecuites built: but their great men did not put their necks to the work of their Lord.
6 E Gioiada, figliuolo di Pasea, e Mesullam, figliuolo di Besodia, ristorarono la porta vecchia. Essi le fecero i suoi palchi, e posarono le sue porte, i suoi serrami, e le sue sbarre.	6 And Joiada the son of Phasea, and Mosollam the son of Besodia built the old gate: they covered it and set up the doors thereof, and the locks, and the bars.
7 Ed allato a loro ristorarono Melatia Gabaonita, e Iadon Merenotita, con que’ di Gabaon, e di Mispa, presso al seggio del governatore di qua dal fiume.	7 And next to them built Meltias the Gabaonite, and Jadon the Meronathite, the men of Gabaon and Maspha, for the governor that was in the country beyond the river.
8 Ed allato ad esso ristorò Uzziel, figliuolo di Harhoia, con gli orafi; ed allato a lui ristorò Hanania, ch’era de’ profumieri. E Gerusalemme fu lasciata come era, fino in capo del muro largo.	8 And next to him built Eziel the son of Araia the goldsmith: and next to him built Ananias the son of the perfumer: and they left Jerusalem unto the wall of the broad street.
9 Ed allato a coloro ristorò Refaia, figliuolo di Hur, capitano della metà della contrada di Gerusalemme.	9 And next to him built Raphaia the son of Hur, lord of the street of Jerusalem.
10 Ed allato a loro, e dirimpetto alla sua casa, ristorò Iedaia, figliuolo di Harumaf; ed allato a lui ristorò Hattus, figliuolo di Hasabneia.	10 And next to him Jedaia the son of Haromaph over against his own house: and next to him built Hattus the son of Hasebonia.
11 Malchia, figliuolo di Harim, ed Hassub, figliuolo di Pahat-Moab, ristorarono un doppio spazio, ed anche la torre de’ forni.	11 ,11Melchias the son of Herem, and Hasub the son of Phahath Moab, built half the street, and the tower of the furnaces.
12 Ed allato a loro ristorò Sallum, figliuolo di Lohes, capitano dell’altra metà della contrada di Gerusalemme, con le sue figliuole.	12 And next to him built Sellum the son of Alohes, lord of half the street of Jerusalem, he and his daughters.
13 Ed Hannun, e gli abitanti di Zanoa ristorarono la porta della valle; essi la fabbricarono, e posarono le sue porte, i suoi serrami, e le sue sbarre; ed insieme mille cubiti del muro, fino alla porta del letame.	13 And the gate of the valley Hanun built, and the inhabitants of Zanoe: they built it, and set up the doors thereof, and the locks, and the bars, and a thousand cubits in the wall unto the gate of the dunghill.
14 E Malchia, figliuolo di Recab, capitano della contrada di Bet-cherem, ristorò la porta del letame; egli la fabbricò, e pose le sue porte, i suoi serrami, e le sue sbarre.	14 And the gate of the dunghill Melchias the son of Rechab built, lord of the street of Bethacharam : he built it, and set up the doors thereof, and the locks, and the bars.
15 E Sallum, figliuolo di Col-hoze, capitano della contrada di Mispa, ristorò la porta della fonte; egli la fabbricò, e la coperse, e posò le sue porte, i suoi serrami, e le sue sbarre; e insieme il muro dell’acquidotto di Sela, verso l’orto del re, e fino a’ gradi, che scendono dalla Città di Davide.	15 And the gate of the fountain Sellum the son of Cholhoza built, lord of the street of Maspha: he built it, and covered it, and set up the doors thereof, and the locks, and the bare, and the walls of the pool of Siloe unto the king's guard, and unto the steps that go down from the city of David.
16 Dopo lui Neemia, figliuolo di Azbuc, capitano della metà della contrada di Betsur, ristorò fin dirimpetto alle sepolture di Davide, e fino allo stagno fatto per arte, e fino alla casa de’ prodi.	16 After him built Nehemias the son of Azboc, lord of half the street of Bethsur, as far as over against the sepulchre of David, and to the pool, that was built with great labour, and to the house of the mighty.
17 Dopo lui ristorarono i Leviti, Rehum, figliuolo di Bani; ed allato a lui ristorò Hasabia, capitano della metà della contrada di Cheila, lungo la sua contrada.	17 After him built the Levites, Rehum the son of Benni. After him built Hasebias, lord of half the street of Ceila in his own street.
18 Dopo lui ristorarono i lor fratelli, Bavvai, figliuolo di Henadad, capitano dell’altra metà della contrada di Cheila.	18 After him built their brethren Bavai the son of Enadad, lord of half Ceila.
19 Ed allato a lui Ezer, figliuolo di Iesua, capitano di Mispa, ristorò un doppio spazio, dirimpetto alla salita dell’armeria del cantone.	19 And next to him Aser the son of Josue, lord of Maspha, built another measure, over against the going up of the strong corner.

21 Dopo lui Meremot, figliuolo di Uria, figliuolo di Cos, ristorò altresì doppio spazio, dall’entrata della casa di Eliasib, fino all’estremità di essa.	21 After him Merimuth the son of Urias the son of Haccus, built another measure, from the door of the house of Eliasib, to the end of the house of Eliasib.
22 E dopo lui, ristorarono i sacerdoti che abitavano nella pianura.	22 And after him built the priests, the men of the plains of the Jordan.
23 Dopo loro ristorarono Beniamino, ed Hassub, dirimpetto alla lor casa. Dopo loro, Azaria, figliuolo di Maaseia, figliuolo di Anania, ristorò presso alla sua casa.	23 After him built Benjamin and Hasub, over against their own house : and after him built Azarias the son of Maasias the son of Ananias over against his house.
24 Dopo lui, Binnui, figliuolo di Henadad, ristorò doppio spazio, dalla casa di Azaria fino alla rivolta, e fino al canto.	24 After him built Bennui the son of Hanadad another measure, from the house of Azarias unto the bending, and unto the corner.
25 Palal, figliuolo di Uzai, ristorò dalla rivolta, e dalla torre, che sporgeva infuori dall’alta casa del re, ch’era presso al cortile della prigione. Dopo lui ristorò Pedaia, figliuolo di Paros.	25 Phalel, the son of Ozi, over against the bending and the tower, which lieth out from the king's high house, that is, in the court of the prison: after him Phadaia the son of Pharos.
26 E i Netinei che abitavano in Ofel, ristorarono fino allato della porta delle acque, verso Oriente, e la torre sporta in fuori.	26 And the Nathinites dwelt in Ophel, as far as over against the water gate toward the east, and the tower that stood out.
27 Dopo loro, i Tecoiti ristorarono doppio spazio, d’allato alla torre grande sporta in fuori, fino al muro di Ofel.	27 After him the Thecuites built another measure over against, from the great tower that standeth out unto the wall of the temple.
28 I sacerdoti ristorarono d’appresso alla porta de’ cavalli, ciascuno dirincontro alla sua casa.	28 And upward from the horse gate the priests built, every man over against his house.
29 Dopo loro, Sadoc, figliuolo d’Immer, ristorò dirincontro alla sua casa. E dopo lui, ristorò Semaia, figliuolo di Secania, guardiano della porta orientale.	29 After them built Sadoc the son of Emmer over against his house. And after him built Semaia the son of Sechenias, keeper of the east gate.
30 Dopo lui, Hanania, figliuolo di Selemia, ed Hanun, sesto figliuolo di Salaf, ristorarono doppio spazio. Dopo loro Mesullam, figliuolo di Berechia, ristorò dirincontro alle sue camere.	30 After him built Hanania the son of Selemia, and Hanun the sixth son of Seleph, another measure: after him built Mosollam the son of Barachias over against his treasury. After him Melcias the goldsmith's son built unto the house of the Nathinites, and of the sellers of small wares, over against the judgment gate, and unto the chamber of the corner.
31 Dopo lui, Malchia, figliuolo di un orafo, ristorò fino alla casa de’ Netinei, e de’ mercantanti d’aromati, allato alla porta della carcere, e fino all’alta sala del cantone.	31 And within the chamber of the corner of the dock gate, the goldsmiths and the merchants built.
32 E fra l’alta sala del cantone, e la porta delle pecore, ristorarono gli orafi, ed i mercantanti di aromati
