1 E come avea aperto il settimo sigillo, fatto è silenzio in cielo, quasi mezza ora.	1 And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.
2 E vidi sette angeli li quali stavano nel conspetto di Dio; e sònoli date sette trombe.	2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.
3 E venne uno altro angelo, e stette dinanzi l'altare, abente un torribolo d'oro; e sonogli dati molti incensi, acciò ch' elli dèsse delle orazioni di tutti li santi sull' altare d'oro, il quale è dinanzi al trono di Dio.	3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.
4 E il fumo delli incensi delle orazioni de' santi delle mani d' angelo ascendè avanti a Dio.	4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.
5 E l'angelo tolse il torribolo (d' oro), ed empillo di fuoco dell' altare, e mandollo in terra; e sono fatti tuono e voce, e corruscazione e terremoto grande.	5 And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.
6 E sette angeli, li quali avevano sette trombe, si prepararono per sonar le trombe.	6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
7 E il primo angelo sonò la tromba; e fatto è tempesta e fuoco, mescolando di sangue, e fu messo in terra; e la terza parte della terra fue bruciata, e la terza parte di arbori fu arsa, e ogni erba verde fu bruciata.	7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
8 E il secondo angelo sonava la tromba; e come uno monte grande, ardente di fuoco, è messo nel mare; e la terza parte del mare fatta è sangue;	8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;
9 e la terza parte delle creature, le quali avevano l'anime nel mare, e la terza parte delle navi sono pericolate.	9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.
10 E il terzo angelo sonò la tromba; e cascò del cielo una grande stella, ardente come facella, e cascò nella terza parte de' fiumi, e nelle fontane delle acque.	10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;
11 E il nome della stella è Assenzio, ed è fatta la terza parte delle acque amara per l'assenzio; e molti uomini sono morti per le acque, per che fatte sono amare.	11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.
12 E il quarto angelo sonò la tromba; e la terza parte del sole è percossa, e la terza parte della luna, e la terza parte delle stelle, per tal modo che si oscurarebbe la loro terza parte di quelli; e non luceva la terza parte del dì, e similmente della notte.	12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.
13 E vidi, e udii una voce d' una aquila che volava per mezzo del cielo, colla voce grande dicente: guai, guai, guai a quelli àbitano nella terra, delle voci che restano de' tre angeli che debeano sonar la tromba.	13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!
