Zaccaria 3

BIBBIA VOLGARE	NEW JERUSALEM
1 E lo Signore] mostrò a me Iesù, lo grande sacerdote, che stava inanzi all' angelo di Dio; e Satan stava dalla sua parte diritta per darli avversitade.	1 He then showed me the high priest Joshua, standing before the angel of Yahweh, with Satan standingon his right to accuse him.
2 E lo Signore disse a Satan: dia lo Signore riprensione in ie, Satan, e riprenda te, il quale elesse Ierusalem; or non è questo tizzone (liberato e) tratto fuori del fuoco?	2 The angel of Yahweh said to Satan, 'May Yahweh rebuke you, Satan! May Yahweh rebuke you, sincehe has made Jerusalem his choice. Is not this man a brand snatched from the fire?'
3 E Iesù era vestito di vestimenta sucide (e brutte), e istava inanzi alla faccia dell' angelo.	3 Now Joshua was dressed in dirty clothes as he stood before the angel.
4 Il quale rispuose, e disse a coloro i quali istavano inanzi alla sua faccia: togliete da lui le sozze vestimenta. E disse a lui: io ho (tolte e) levate da te le tue malvagitadi, e hoe vestito te delle vestimenta da mutarsi.	4 The latter then spoke as fol ows to those who were standing before him, 'Take off his dirty clothesanddress him in splendid robes
5 E disse: ponete la mitria pura e netta sopra lo capo suo. E posergli la mitra monda sopra il capo suo, e vestirolo di vestimenta; e l'angelo del Signore stava.	5 and put a clean turban on his head.' So they put a clean turban on his head and dressed him in cleanclothes, while the angel of Yahweh stood byand said, 'You see, I have taken your guilt away.'
6 E certificava a Iesù, e diceva:	6 The angel of Yahweh then made this declaration to Joshua,
7 Questo dice lo Signore Iddio: se tu sarai andato per le mie vie, e averai custodita la mia guardia, tu veramente giudicherai la mia casa e guarderai li miei cammini, e darò a te li ambulatori di questi che stanno ora qui presenti.	7 'Yahweh Sabaoth says this, "If you walk in my ways and keep my ordinances, you shal govern myhouse, you shal watch over my courts, and I wil give you free access among those in attendance here.
8 Odi, Iesù sacerdote, tu e li tuoi amici, i quali àbitano inanzi a te, però che sono uomini posti in segno delle cose che debbono venire; e però ecco, io adducerò lo mio servo nascente.	8 'So listen, High Priest Joshua, you and the colleagues over whom you preside -- for they are an omenof things to come -- for now I shal bring in my servant the Branch, and I shal remove this country's guilt in asingle day.
9 Però che, ecco la pietra la quale io diedi inanzi a Iesù; e sopra una pietra sono VII occhi; ecco, io scolpirò la sua scolpitura, disse lo Signore delli esèrciti, e torrò via in uno dì la malvagitade della sua terra (in quello di).	9 For this is the stone which I have put before Joshua, a stone on which are seven eyes; and I myselfshall cut the inscription on it -- Yahweh Sabaoth declares."
10 E in quello di, dice lo Signore delli esèrciti, l'uomo chiamerà lo suo amico sotto la vigna e sotto lo fico.	10 On that day -- Yahweh Sabaoth declares -- invite each other to come under your vine and your figtree." '
