Salmi 14

BIBBIA VOLGARE	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Salmo di David. Signore, chi abiterà nel tuo tabernacolo? ovver chi si riposerà nel tuo [santo] monte?	1 [For the choirmaster Of David] The fool has said in his heart, 'There is no God.' Their deeds arecorrupt and vile, not one of them does right.
2 Colui che entra (nel tabernacolo) sanza macula e fa la giustizia;	2 Yahweh looks down from heaven at the children of Adam. To see if a single one is wise, a single oneseeks God.
3 colui che parlerà la verità con il cuore suo, e non ha adoperato inganno con la lingua sua; nè anco fece male al prossimo suo, nè indusse obbrobrio contro al prossimo suo.	3 Al have turned away, all alike turned sour, not one of them does right, not a single one.
4 Il maligno è ridotto a niente inanzi a lui; e Iddio glorifica colui che il teme.Colui che giura al prossimo suo, e non l' in ganna;	4 Are they not aware, all these evil-doers? They are devouring my people, this is the bread they eat, andthey never call to Yahweh.
5 colui che non diede la sua pecunia ad usura, e non ricevette dono sopra (la cagione) dello innocente (per opprimerlo); colui che ha fatto queste cose, non sarà mosso in eterno (e sarà sempre beato).	5 They wil be gripped with fear, where there is no need for fear, for God takes the side of the upright;
	6 you may mock the plans of the poor, but Yahweh is their refuge.
	7 Who wil bring from Zion salvation for Israel? When Yahweh brings his people home, what joy forJacob, what happiness for Israel!
