1 (Salmo graduale). Quando il Signore fe' tornare dalla cattività quelli di Sionne ci pareva di sognar dalla gioia.	1 A Canticle in steps. When the Lord turned back the captivity of Zion, we became like those who are consoled.
2 Allora si riempi di sorrisi la nostra bocca e la nostra lingua di giubilo. Or si dirà fra le genti: « Il Signore ha fatte grandi cose per loro ».	2 Then our mouth was filled with gladness and our tongue with exultation. Then they will say among the nations: “The Lord has done great things for them.”
3 Sì, il Signore ha fatte grandi cose per noi, e noi siamo inondati di letizia.	3 The Lord has done great things for us. We have become joyful.
4 Fa tornare, o Signore, i nostri prigionieri come torrente nella terra australe.	4 Convert our captivity, O Lord, like a torrent in the south.
5 Quelli che seminano fra le lacrime mieteranno nella gioia.	5 Those who sow in tears shall reap in exultation.
6 Andavan andavano piangendo mentre gettavano il loro seme, ma tornando verran con festa? portando i loro manipoli.	6 When departing, they went forth and wept, sowing their seeds.
	7 But when returning, they will arrive with exultation, carrying their sheaves.
