1 Tu autem loquere, quae decentsanam doctrinam.	1 ואתה דבר את הנאה ללקח הבריא
2 Senes, ut sobrii sint, pudici, prudentes, sani fide, dilectione, patientia.	2 שיהיו הזקנים משלים ברוחם ומכבדים וצנועים ובריאים באמונה ובאהבה ובסבלנות
3 Anus similiter in habitu sanctae, non criminatrices, non vino multo deditae,bene docentes,	3 וכן הזקנות תהי הנהגתן כאשר נאוה לקדש לא תהיינה מלשינות ולא נכבשות לסבוא יין כי אם מלמדות טוב
4 ut prudentiam doceant adulescentulas, ut viros suos ament,filios diligant,	4 ומישרות את הצעירות לאהב את בעליהן ולאהב את בניהן
5 prudentes sint, castae, domus curam habentes, benignae,subditae suis viris, ut non blasphemetur verbum Dei.	5 ולהיות צנועות וטהרות צופיות הליכות ביתן וטבות ונכנעות לבעליהן למען לא יחלל דבר האלהים

14 qui dedit semetipsum pro nobis, ut nosredimeret ab omni iniquitate et mundaret sibi populum peculiarem, sectatorembonorum operum.	14 אשר נתן את נפשו בעדנו לגאלנו מכל עול ולטהר לו עם סגלה הזריז במעשים טובים
