1 [For the choirmaster Psalm Of David] Listen, God, to my voice as I plead, protect my life from fear ofthe enemy;	1 Zborovođi. Psalam. Davidov.
2 hide me from the league of the wicked, from the gang of evil-doers.	2 Poslušaj, Bože, moje žalbe glas; od strašna dušmanina život mi čuvaj!
3 They sharpen their tongues like a sword, aim their arrows of poisonous abuse,	3 Štiti me od mnoštva opakih, sakrij od bjesnila zlotvora
4 shoot at the innocent from cover, shoot suddenly, with nothing to fear.	4 koji bruse jezike k’o mačeve, otrovne riječi izbacuju kao strijele,
5 They support each other in their evil designs, they discuss how to lay their snares. 'Who wil see us?'they say,	5 da iz potaje rane nedužna, da ga rane iznenada ne bojeć’ se ničega.
6 'or wil penetrate our secrets?' He wil do that, he who penetrates human nature to its depths, thedepths of the heart.	6 Spremni su na djelo pakosno, snuju kako će kradom zamke staviti i govore: »Tko će nas vidjeti?«
7 God has shot them with his arrow, sudden were their wounds.	7 Snuju zlodjela, smišljene osnove kriju: pamet i srce čovječje bezdan su duboki.
8 He brings them down because of their tongue, and al who see them shake their heads.	8 No Bog ih ranjava strijelom, odjednom ih rane prekriju.
9 Everyone wil be awestruck, proclaim what God has done, and understand why he has done it.	9 Vlastiti jezik propast im donosi, kimaju glavom oni što ih vide:
10 The upright wil rejoice in Yahweh, wil take refuge in him, and al the honest wil praise him.	10 svi se boje, Božje djelo slave i misle o onom što on učini.
	11 Pravednik se raduje u Jahvi, njemu se utječe, i kliču svim srcem čestiti.
