1 Por lo cual yo, Pablo, el prisionero de Cristo por vosotros los gentiles...	1 For this cause, I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ, for you Gentiles;
2 si es que conocéis la misión de la gracia que Dios me concedió en orden a vosotros:	2 If yet you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me towards you:
3 cómo me fue comunicado por una revelación el conocimiento del Misterio, tal como brevemente acabo de exponeros.	3 How that, according to revelation, the mystery has been made known to me, as I have written above in a few words;
4 Según esto, leyéndolo podéis entender mi conocimiento del Misterio de Cristo;	4 As you reading, may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ,
5 Misterio que en generaciones pasadas no fue dado a conocer a los hombres, como ha sido ahora revelado a sus santos apóstoles y profetas por el Espíritu:	5 Which in other generations was not known to the sons of men, as it is now revealed to his holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit:
6 que los gentiles sois coherederos, miembros del mismo Cuerpo y partícipes de la misma Promesa en Cristo Jesús por medio del Evangelio,	6 That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body, and co-partners of his promise in Christ Jesus, by the gospel:
7 del cual he llegado a ser ministro, conforme al don de la gracia de Dios a mí concedida por la fuerza de su poder.	7 Of which I am made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God, which is given to me according to the operation of his power:
8 A mí, el menor de todos los santos, me fue concedida esta gracia: la de anunciar a los gentiles la inescrutable riqueza de Cristo,	8 To me, the least of all the saints, is given this grace, to preach among the Gentiles, the unsearchable riches of Christ,
9 y esclarecer cómo se ha dispensado el Misterio escondido desde siglos en Dios, Creador de todas las cosas,	9 And to enlighten all men, that they may see what is the dispensation of the mystery which hath been hidden from eternity in God, who created all things:
10 para que la multiforme sabiduría de Dios sea ahora manifestada a los Principados y a las Potestades en los cielos, mediante la Iglesia,	10 That the manifold wisdom of God may be made known to the principalities and powers in heavenly places through the church,
11 conforme al previo designio eterno que realizó en Cristo Jesús, Señor nuestro,	11 According to the eternal purpose, which he made, in Christ Jesus our Lord:
12 quien, mediante la fe en él, nos da valor para llegarnos confiadamente a Dios.	12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.
13 Por lo cual os ruego no os desaniméis a causa de las tribulaciones que por vosotros padezco, pues ellas son vuestra gloria.	13 Wherefore I pray you not to faint at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.
14 Por eso doblo mis rodillas ante el Padre,	14 For this cause I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15 de quien toma nombre toda familia en el cielo y en la tierra,	15 Of whom all paternity in heaven and earth is named,
16 para que os conceda, según la riqueza de su gloria, que seáis fortalecidos por la acción de su Espíritu en el hombre interior,	16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened by his Spirit with might unto the inward man,
17 que Cristo habite por la fe en vuestros corazones, para que, arraigados y cimentados en el amor,	17 That Christ may dwell by faith in your hearts; that being rooted and founded in charity,
18 podáis comprender con todos los santos cuál es la anchura y la longitud, la altura y la profundidad,	18 You may be able to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth, and length, and height, and depth:
19 y conocer el amor de Cristo, que excede a todo conocimiento, para que os vayáis llenando hasta la total Plenitud de Dios.	19 To know also the charity of Christ, which surpasseth all knowledge, that you may be filled unto all the fulness of God.
20 A Aquel que tiene poder para realizar todas las cosas incomparablemente mejor de lo que podemos pedir o pensar, conforme al poder que actúa en nosotros,	20 Now to him who is able to do all things more abundantly than we desire or understand, according to the power that worketh in us;
21 a él la gloria en la Iglesia y en Cristo Jesús por todas las generaciones y todos los tiempos. Amén.	21 To him be glory in the church, and in Christ Jesus unto all generations, world without end. Amen.
