1 ¡Aleluya! Alef. ¡Dichoso el hombre que teme a Yahveh, Bet. que en sus mandamientos mucho se complace!	1 Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.
2 Guímel. Fuerte será en la tierra su estirpe, Dálet. bendita la raza de los hombres rectos.	2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
3 He. Hacienda y riquezas en su casa, Vau. su justicia por siempre permanece.	3 Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
4 Zain En las tinieblas brilla, como luz de los rectos, Jet. tierno, clemente y justo.	4 Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
5 Tet. Feliz el hombre que se apiada y presta, Yod. y arregla rectamente sus asuntos.	5 A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.
6 Kaf. No, no será conmovido jamás, Lámed. en memoria eterna permanece el justo;	6 Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.
7 Mem. no tiene que temer noticias malas, Nun. firme es su corazón, en Yahveh confiado.	7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.
8 Sámek. Seguro está su corazón, no teme: Ain. al fin desafiará a sus adversarios.	8 His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.
9 Pe. Con largueza da a los pobres; Sade. su justicia por siempre permanece, Qof. su frente se levanta con honor.	9 He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.
10 Res. Lo ve el impío y se enfurece, Sin. rechinando sus dientes, se consume. Tau. El afán de los impíos se pierde.	10 The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.
