1 Cantique des montées. J’élève mon regard vers les monts: d’où me viendra le secours?	1 A song of ascents. I raise my eyes toward the mountains. From where will my help come?
2 Mon secours est dans le Seigneur qui a fait le ciel et la terre.	2 My help comes from the LORD, the maker of heaven and earth.
3 - Ne laissera-t-il pas broncher ton pied, ne pourrait-il sommeiller, celui qui te garde?	3 God will not allow your foot to slip; your guardian does not sleep.
4 - Mais non, il ne sommeille pas, il ne dort pas, le gardien d’Israël.	4 Truly, the guardian of Israel never slumbers nor sleeps.
5 Le Seigneur te protège et te garde à son ombre, il est là à ta droite.	5 The LORD is your guardian; the LORD is your shade at your righthand.
6 Les coups de soleil, de jour, ne seront pas pour toi, ni les sorts de la lune à la nuit.	6 By day the sun cannot harm you, nor the moon by night.
7 Le Seigneur te gardera de tout mal, il veillera sur ton âme.	7 The LORD will guard you from all evil, will always guard your life.
8 Le Seigneur te garde à l’aller, au retour, dès maintenant et jusqu’à la fin.	8 The LORD will guard your coming and going both now and forever.
