BIBBIA VOLGARE	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 E fu fatta la parola di Dio (a me), e disse:	1 Again the word of the LORD of hosts came to me, saying,
2 Questo dice lo Signore delli esèrciti: io hoe amato Sion con grande amore, e ora l'hoe amata con grande indegnamento.	2 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; I was jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I was jealous for her with great fury.
3 Questo dice lo Signore delli esèrciti: io sono ritornato a Sion, e abiterò nel mezzo di Ierusalem; e Ierusalem sarà chiamata Città di verità; e il monte (della casa) del Signore delli esèrciti (sarà lo) Monte santificato.	3 Thus saith the LORD; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the LORD of hosts the holy mountain.
4 Questo dice lo Signore delli esèrciti: ancora abiteranno li vecchi, e l'uomo pieno d' anni nelle piazze di Ierusalem; e li uomini staranno colli bastoncelli in mano per la moltitudine delli dì.	4 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; There shall yet old men and old women dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, and every man with his staff in his hand for very age.
5 E le piazze della città saranno ripiene di fanciulli e di fanciulle, e trastullerannosi nelle sue piazze.	5 And the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in the streets thereof.
6 Questo dice lo Signore delli esèrciti: se parrà che sia malagevole nelli occhi delli antichi di questo popolo in quel tempo, or (non) sarà malagevole a me, [dice lo Signore delli eserciti]?	6 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If it be marvellous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, should it also be marvellous in mine eyes? saith the LORD of hosts.
7 [Questo dice lo Signore delli esèrciti]: ecco, io salverò lo mio popolo della terra d'oriente, e della terra di ponente.	7 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the west country;
8 E menorolli, e abiteranno nel mezzo di Ierusalem; e saranno a me in popolo, e io sarò a loro. Iddio, nella veritade e nella giustizia.	8 And I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.
9 Questo dice lo Signore delli esèrciti: sieno confortate le vostre mani di voi, i quali udite in questi di queste parole per la bocca de' profeti, nel dì che fu fondata la casa del Signore delli esèrciti, acciò che lo tempio fusse edificato.	9 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in these days these words by the mouth of the prophets, which were in the day that the foundation of the house of the LORD of hosts was laid, that the temple might be built.
10 E inanzi a quelli dì non aveano li uomini merito, e non era prezzo di bestiame; e niuno che entrasse e che uscisse avea pace per la tribulazione; e lasciai tutti li uomini, ciascuno contra il suo prossimo.	10 For before these days there was no hire for man, nor any hire for beast; neither was there any peace to him that went out or came in because of the affliction: for I set all men every one against his neighbour.
11 Ma ora io non farò secondo li dì che sono andati, alli rimanenti di questo popolo, dice lo Signore delli eserciti.	11 But now I will not be unto the residue of this people as in the former days, saith the LORD of hosts.
12 Ma sarà seme di pace; la vigna darà il suo frutto, e la terra darà li suoi germogli, e li cieli daranno la loro rugiada; e farò che li rimanenti di questo popolo possederanno tutte queste cose.	12 For the seed shall be prosperous; the vine shall give her fruit, and the ground shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these things.
13 E sarete; come eravate la maledizione nelle [genti, la] terra di Giuda, e la casa d' Israel, così salverò voi, e sarete benedizione; non temete; confortate le vostre mani.	13 And it shall come to pass, that as ye were a curse among the heathen, O house of Judah, and house of Israel; so will I save you, and ye shall be a blessing: fear not, but let your hands be strong.
14 Però che questo dice lo Signore delli esèrciti: com' io pensai d' affliggere voi, conciosia cosa che li vostri padri provocassono me ad ira,	14 For thus saith the LORD of hosts; As I thought to punish you, when your fathers provoked me to wrath, saith the LORD of hosts, and I repented not:
15 e io non ebbi misericordia; così convertito io pensai in questi dì di far bene a Ierusalem e alla casa di Giuda; non temete.	15 So again have I thought in these days to do well unto Jerusalem and to the house of Judah: fear ye not.
16 Queste sono le parole che voi farete; parli ciascuno verità col suo prossimo; e giudicate la verità e il giudicio di pace nelle vostre porte.	16 These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:
17 E niuno pensi male contro al suo prossimo nelli vostri cuori, e non amate lo giuramento bugiardo; però che tutte queste cose sono, le quali ho avuto in odio, dice lo Signore Iddio.	17 And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the LORD.
18 E fu fatta la parola del Signore delli esèrciti a me, e disse:	18 And the word of the LORD of hosts came unto me, saying,
19 [Questo dice lo Signore delli esèrciti]: lo digiuno del quarto dì, e lo digiuno del V dì, e lo digiuno del VII dì, e lo digiuno del X dì sarà [al] la casa di Giuda in godimento e in allegrezza e in ispeciali solennitadi; ma pure amate la veritade e la pace.	19 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts; therefore love the truth and peace.
20 Questo dice lo Signore delli esèrciti: perchè vengono li popoli, e àbitano in molte cittadi;	20 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; It shall yet come to pass, that there shall come people, and the inhabitants of many cities:
21 e vanno li abitatori l'uno all' altro, e dicono: andiamo, e preghiamo la faccia di Dio, e domandiamo lo Signore delli esèrciti; e anderovvi an ch' io.	21 And the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily to pray before the LORD, and to seek the LORD of hosts: I will go also.
22 E verranno molti popoli, e le genti robuste, per addomandare lo Signore delli esèrciti in Ierusalem, e per pregare la faccia sua.	22 Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the LORD.
23 Questo dice lo Signore delli esèrciti: in quelli dì, ne' quali piglieranno X uomini di tutte le lingue delle genti, e piglieranno l'orlo dell' uomo Giudeo, e diranno: noi andremo con voi; però che udimmo che il Signore è con voi.	23 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.
