Ieremia 28

BIBBIA VOLGARE	NEW JERUSALEM
1 E fatto è in quello anno, nel principio del reame di Sedecia, re di Giuda, nel quarto anno e nel quinto mese; disse a me Anania, figliuolo di Azur, profeta di Gabaon, nella casa di Dio, innanzi alli sacerdoti e a tutto il popolo, dicente:	1 That same year, at the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fifth month of the fourthyear, the prophet Hananiah son of Azzur, a Gibeonite, spoke as follows to Jeremiah in the Temple of Yahweh inthe presence of the priests and of al the people,
2 Questo dice lo Signore delli esèrciti, Iddio d' Israel: io hoe tritato lo giogo dello re di Babilonia.	2 'Yahweh Sabaoth, the God of Israel, says this, "I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon.
3 Ancora due anni de' dì, [e io] farò riportare a questo luogo tutti li vasi [della casa] di Dio, i quali portò Nabucodonosor, re di Babilonia.	3 In exactly two years' time I shal bring back al the vessels of the Temple of Yahweh whichNebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from here and carried off to Babylon.
4 E Ioconia, figliuolo di Ioachim, re di Giuda, e tutta la transmigrazione di Giuda, i quali entrarono in Babilonia, io convertirò a questo luogo, dice Iddio; e triterò lo giogo [del re] di Babilonia.	4 And I shal also bring back Jeconiah son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah and al the exiles of Judah whohave gone to Babylon, Yahweh declares, for I shal break the yoke of the king of Babylon." '
5 E disse Ieremia profeta ad Anania profeta, dinanzi a tutti li occhi de' sacerdoti, e a tutto il populo che stava nella casa di Dio.	5 The prophet Jeremiah then replied to the prophet Hananiah in front of the priests and al the peoplepresent in the Temple of Yahweh.
6 E disse Ieremia profeta: amen, così faccia Iddio risuscitare tutte le tue parole le quali tu (parlasti e) profetasti, che siano recate le vasa nella casa di Dio, e tutta la transmigrazione di Babilonia a questo luogo.	6 'So be it!' the prophet Jeremiah said, 'May Yahweh do so! May he fulfil the words that you haveprophesied and bring al the vessels of the Temple of Yahweh and al the exiles back to this place from Babylon.
7 Ma odi questa parola, la quale io parlo nelli tuoi orecchi, e nelli orecchi di tutto il populo :	7 Listen carefully, however, to this word that I am now going to say for you and al the people to hear:
8 Li profeti, li quali profetarono dinanzi da me e dinanzi [da te] dal principio, e profetarono sopra molte terre, e sopra grandi regni (della terra), della battaglia e della afflizione e della fame.	8 From remote times, the prophets who preceded you and me prophesied war, disaster and plague formany countries and for great kingdoms;
9 Lo profeta il quale ha dovinato pace, quando la sua parola [verrà], sarà conosciuto profeta, lo quale mandò Iddio in verità.	9 the prophet who prophesies peace can be recognised as one truly sent by Yahweh only when his wordcomes true.'
10 E tolse Anania profeta la catena del collo di Ieremia, e ruppela.	10 The prophet Hananiah then snatched the yoke off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah and broke it.
11 E disse Anania nel conspetto di tutto il populo, dicendo: questo dice Iddio: così romperò io lo giogo dello re di Babilonia, dopo due anni de'dì, del collo di tutte le genti.	11 In front of al the people Hananiah then said, 'Yahweh says this, "This is how, in exactly two years'time, I shall break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and take it off the necks of al the nations." ' Atthis, the prophet Jeremiah went away.
12 E Ieremia profeta se n' andò nella via sua. E disse Iddio a Ieremia, poi che Anania tagliò la catena del collo di Ieremia profeta, dicendo:	12 After the prophet Hananiah had broken the yoke he had snatched off the prophet Jeremiah's neck,the word of Yahweh came to Jeremiah,
13 Va, e dirai ad Anania: questo dice Iddio: tu hai rotte le catene di legno, e farai quelle catene di ferro.	13 'Go to Hananiah and tell him this, "Yahweh says this: You have broken the wooden yokes only tomake iron yokes to replace them!
14 Però [che] questo dice lo Signore delli esèrciti, Iddio d' Israel: io hoe posto lo giogo di ferro sopra lo collo a tutte queste genti, acciò che servano allo re di Babilonia, e serviranno a lui; anche li ho date le bestie della terra.	14 For Yahweh Sabaoth, the God of Israel, says this: An iron yoke is what I now lay on the necks of althese nations to enslave them to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon. (They wil be enslaved to him; I have evengiven him the wild animals.)" '
15 E disse Ieremia profeta ad Anania: Iddio non ti mandò, e tu facesti confidare questo populo in bugia.	15 The prophet Jeremiah said to the prophet Hananiah, 'Listen careful y, Hananiah: Yahweh has not sentyou; and thanks to you this people is now relying on what is false.
16 Però questo dice Iddio: ecco io ti manderò dalla faccia della terra, e morrai in questo anno; tu hai parlato contro a Dio.	16 And so, Yahweh says this, "I am going to send you off the face of the earth: you wil die this year(since you have preached rebel ion against Yahweh)." '
17 E morio Anania profeta in quello anno, nel mese settimo.	17 The prophet Hananiah died the same year, in the seventh month.
