1 In fine, per quelli che saranno commutati, [David].	1 For the leader. A psalm of David; a song.
2 Fammi salvo, Iddio; però che entrorono l'acque insino all' anima mia.	2 God will arise for battle; the enemy will be scattered; those who hate God will flee.
3 Son sommerso insino al luto del profondo; e non è sostanza. Per che nel profondo del mare sommersemi la tempesta.	3 The wind will disperse them like smoke; as wax is melted by fire, so the wicked will perish before God.
4 M' affaticai gridando; sono fatto rauco; vennero a meno li occhii miei, sperando nell' Iddio mio.	4 Then the just will be glad; they will rejoice before God; they will celebrate with great joy.
5 Quelli che mi hanno odiato senza cagione sono moltiplicati sopra li capelli del mio capo. Gli miei nemici, che mi hanno perseguitato ingiustamente, sono confortati; allora rendeva quelle cose che non ho tolto.	5 Sing to God, praise the divine name; exalt the rider of the clouds. Rejoice before this God whose name is the LORD.
6 Tu sai, Iddio, la mia insipienza; da te non sono ascosti li miei delitti.	6 Father of the fatherless, defender of widows-- this is the God whose abode is holy,
7 Non si vergognino in me quelli che te aspettano, Signore, Signore delle virtù. Quelli che ti chiedono, Iddio d' Israel, non si confonderanno sopra di me.	7 Who gives a home to the forsaken, who leads prisoners out to prosperity, while rebels live in the desert.
8 Però [che] per te ho sostenuto la ingiuria; la confusione ha coperta la mia faccia.	8 God, when you went forth before your people, when you marched through the desert, Selah
9 Io sono fatto straniero da' miei fratelli, e come pellegrino da' figliuoli di mia madre.	9 The earth quaked, the heavens shook, before God, the One of Sinai, before God, the God of Israel.
10 Il zelo della tua casa mi ha inghiottito; e gli vituperii delli tuoi riprovatori cascorono sopra di me.	10 You claimed a land as your own, O God;
11 E in digiuno io ho coperta l'anima mia; e a me è fatto in vituperio.	11 your people settled there. There you poured abundant rains, God, graciously given to the poor in their need.
12 E mi puosi il cilicio per vestimento; e a loro son fatto in proverbio.	12 All you people so numerous,
13 Quelli che sedevano nella porta parlavano contra di me; e contra di me cantavano gli beventi il vino.	13 b) Every household will share the booty,
14 Ma io a te, Signore, mando la mia orazione; egli è il tempo della riconciliazione, Iddio. Esaudi me nella molta tua misericordia, nella verità della [tua] salute.	14 c) its wings covered with yellow gold."
15 Levami dal luto, acciò non mi profondi; libera me dalli miei odianti, e dalli profondi delle acque.	15 When the Almighty routed the kings there, the spoils were scattered like snow on Zalmon.
16 Non mi sommerga la tempesta delle acque, e il profondo non m' inghiottisca; e il pozzo non stringa la sua bocca sopra di me.	16 You high mountains of Bashan, you rugged mountains of Bashan,
17 Esaudi me, Signore, per che benigna è la tua misericordia; e risguarda in me secondo la moltitudine delle tue miserazioni.	17 You rugged mountains, why look with envy at the mountain where God has chosen to dwell, where the LORD resides forever?
18 E non rimuovere la faccia dal servo tuo; per che son tribulato, velocemente esaudi me.	18 God's chariots were myriad, thousands upon thousands; from Sinai the Lord entered the holy place.
19 Attendi all' anima mia, e liberala; per gli miei nemici libera me.	19 You went up to its lofty height; you took captives, received slaves as tribute. No rebels can live in the presence of God.
20 Tu sai il mio improperio, e la mia confusione, e la mia reverenza.	20 Blessed be the Lord day by day, God, our salvation, who carries us. Selah
21 Tutti che mi trìbulano sono nel tuo cospetto; il mio cuore ha aspettato l' improperio e la miseria. E aspettai chi meco si contristassero, e non furono; e non trovai chi me consolasse.	21 Our God is a God who saves; escape from death is in the LORD God's hands.
22 E per mio cibo mi dettero il fiele; e abbeverorono la mia sete coll' aceto.	22 God will crush the skulls of the enemy, the hairy heads of those who walk in sin.
23 Sia fatta loro mensa dinanzi a loro in lacciuolo, e in retribuzioni e in scandalo.	23 The Lord has said: "Even from Bashan I will fetch them, fetch them even from the depths of the sea.
24 Accechinsi loro occhi acciò non vedano; e loro spalle sempre siano piegate.	24 You will wash your feet in your enemy's blood; the tongues of your dogs will lap it up."
25 Spargi sopra loro l'ira tua; siano appresi dal furore della tua ira.	25 Your procession comes into view, O God, your procession into the holy place, my God and king.
26 La loro abitazione sia fatta deserta; e non vi sia chi abiti ne' loro tabernacoli.	26 The singers go first, the harpists follow; in their midst girls sound the timbrels.
27 Imperò che hanno perseguitati quelli che hai percosso; e hanno aggiunto sopra il dolore delle mie ferite.	27 In your choirs, bless God; bless the LORD, you from Israel's assemblies.
28 Giungi la iniquità sopra loro iniquità; e non entrino nella tua giustizia.	28 In the lead is Benjamin, few in number; there the princes of Judah, a large throng, the princes of Zebulun, the princes of Naphtali, too.
29 Siano scancellati del libro de' viventi; e con li giusti non siano scritti.	29 Summon again, O God, your power, the divine power you once showed for us.
30 Io son povero e dolente; la tua salute, Iddio, mi ha ricevuto.	30 Show it from your temple on behalf of Jerusalem, that kings may bring you tribute.
31 Loderò il nome di Dio con cantico; e magnificherollo colla lode.	31 Roar at the wild beast of the reeds, the herd of mighty bulls, the lords of nations; scatter the nations that delight in war.
32 E a Dio piacerà più che il vitello giovincello, producente le corne e le ugne.	32 Exact rich tribute from lower Egypt, from upper Egypt, gold and silver; make Ethiopia extend its hands to God.
33 Vedano li poveri, e rallegrinsi; cercate Iddio, e viverà l' anima vostra.	33 You kingdoms of the earth, sing to God; chant the praises of the Lord, Selah
34 Perche (etiam) il Signore ha udito li poveri; e non ha guardato li suoi nemici.	34 Who rides the heights of the ancient heavens, whose voice is thunder, mighty thunder.
35 Lodino quello li cieli e la terra, il mare e tutti loro rettili.	35 Confess the power of God, whose majesty protects Israel, whose power is in the sky.
36 Imperò [che] Dio farà salva Sion; ed edificheransi le città di Giuda. E ivi abiteranno, e acquisteranno quella per eredità.	36 Awesome is God in his holy place, the God of Israel, who gives power and strength to his people. Blessed be God!
37 Il seme de' suoi servi possederà quella; e in quella abiteranno quelli che amano il nome suo.
