1 Questi è i sacerdoti e i Leviti, i quali vennero con Zorobabel figliuolo di Salatiel, e Iosue: Saraia, Ieremia, Esdra,	1 Now these are the priests and the Levites, that went up with Zorobabel the son of Salathiel, and Josue: Saraia, Jeremias, Esdras,
2 Amaria, Melluc, Attus,	2 Amaria, Melluch, Hattus,
3 Sebenia, Reum, Merimut,	3 Sebenias, Rheum, Merimuth,
4 Addo, Genton, Abia,	4 Addo, Genthon, Abia,
5 Miamin, Madia, Belga,	5 Miamin, Madia, Belga,
6 Semeia e Ioiarib, Idaia, Sellum, Amoc, Elcia,	6 Semeia, and Joiarib, Idaia, Sellum, Amoc, Helcias,
7 Idaia; questi sono i prìncipi de' sacerdoti, e li fratelli loro nelli dì di Iosue.	7 Idaia. These were the chief of the priests, and of their brethren in the days of Josue.
8 Questi sono li Leviti: Iesua, Bennui, Cedmiel, Sarebia, Iuda, Matania; sopra li inni, loro e li loro fratelli;	8 And the Levites, Jesua, Bennui, Cedmihel, Sarebia, Juda, Mathanias, they and their brethren were over the hymns:
9 e Becbecia, e anco Anni e' fratelli suoi, ciascuno nello officio suo.	9 And Becbecia, and Hanni, and their brethren every one in his office.
10 Iosue generò Ioacim, e Ioacim generò Eliasib, ed Eliasib generò Ioiada.	10 And Josue beget Joacim, and Joacim beget Eliasib, and Eliasib beget Joiada,
11 E Ioiada generò Ionatan, e Ionatan generò Ieddoa.	11 And Joiada beget Jonathan, and Jonathan beget Jeddoa.
12 Nel tempo di Ioacim erano questi i sacerdoti e principi delle famiglie; di Saraia, Maraia; e di Ieremia, Anania;	12 And in the days of Joacim the priests and heads of the families were : Of Saraia, Maraia: of Jeremias, Hanania:
13 e di Esdra, Mosollam; di Amaria, Ioanan;	13 Of Esdras, Mosollam: and of Amaria, Johanan:
14 di Milico, Ionatan; di Sebenia, Iosef;	14 Of Milicho, Jonathan: of Sebenia, Joseph:

22 I Leviti nel tempo di Eliasib e Ioiada e Ioanan e Ieddoa, scritti prìncipi delle famiglie, e sacerdoti nel regno di Dario di Persia.	22 The Levites the chiefs of the families in the days of Eliasib, and Joiada, and Johanan, and Jeddoa, were recorded, and the priests in the reign of Darius the Persian.
23 I figliuoli di Levi principi delle famiglie, scritti nel libro delle parole di Dio, e persino al tempo di Ionatan, sono i figliuoli di Eliasib.	23 The sons of Levi, heads of the families were written in the book of Chronicles, even unto the days of Jonathan the son of Eliasib.
24 E li principi delli Leviti, Asebia, Serebia e Iosue figliuolo di Cedmiel, e li fratelli suoi per la sorte sua, acciò che laudasseno e confessasseno secondo il comandamento del re David uomo di Dio, e osservassono egualmente per l' ordine.	24 Now the chief of the Levites were Hasebia, Serebia, and Josue the son of Cedmihel: and their brethren by their courses, to praise and to give thanks according to the commandment of David the man of God, and to wait equally in order.
25 E i custodi delle porte, e anco delle antiporte, erano Matania, Becbecia, Obedia, Mosollam, Telmon, Accub.	25 Mathania, and Becbecia, Obedia, and Mosollam, Telmon, Accub, were keepers of the gates and of the entrances before the gates.
26 Questi furono nel tempo di Ioacim, i figliuoli di Iosue figliuolo di Iosedec, e nel tempo di Neemia duca, e di Esdra sacerdote e cancelliere.	26 These were in the days of Joacim the son of Josue, the son of Josedec, and in the days of Nehemias the governor, and of Esdras the priest and scribe.
27 Nella consacrazione del muro di Ierusalem feceno venire i Leviti di tutti i luoghi suoi in Ierusalem, acciò che facesseno la consacrazione in gaudio, in riferire grazie, nel cantico, nei cimbali, nei salterii e nelle chitarre.	27 And at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites out of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, and to keep the dedication, and to rejoice with thanksgiving, and with singing, and with cymbals, and psalteries and harps.
28 Congregoronsi dunque i figliuoli de' cantori delli piani, li quali sono dintorno a Ierusalem, e delle ville di Netufati,	28 And the sons of the singing men were gathered together out of the plain country about Jerusalem, and out of the villages of Nethuphati,
29 e della casa di Galgal, e delle regioni di Geba e Azmavet; però che le ville constituironsi li cantori nel circuito di Ierusalem.	29 And from the house of Galgal, and from the countries of Geba and Azmaveth: for the singing men had built themselves villages round about Jerusalem.
30 E furono mondati i sacerdoti e i Leviti; e mondaro il popolo e le porte e il muro.	30 And the priests and the Levites purified, and they purified the people, and the gates, and the wall.
31 E feci ascendere i principi di Giuda sopra il muro, e ordinai due cori grandi di quelli che laudavano. E andorono dalla parte destra sopra il muro alla porta delle brutture.	31 And I made the princes of Juda go up upon the wall, and I appointed two great choirs to give praise. And they went on the right hand upon the wall toward the dunghill gate.
32 E andò dopo loro Osaia, e la metà de' prìncipi di Giuda,	32 And after them went Osaias, and half of the princes of Juda,
33 e Azaria ed Esdra e Mosollam, Giuda e Beniamin e Semeia e Ieremia;	33 And Azarias, Esdras, and Mosollam, Judas, and Benjamin, and Semeia, and Jeremias.
34 e de' figliuoli de' sacerdoti delle tube, Zacaria, il figliuolo di Ionatan, il figliuolo di Semeia, il figliuolo di Matania, il figliuolo di Micaia, il figliuolo di Zecur, il figliuolo di Asaf,	34 And of the sons of the priests with trumpets, Zacharias the son of Jonathan. the son of Semeia, the son of Mathania; the son of Michaia, the son of Zechur, the son of Asaph,
35 e li suoi fratelli, Semeia e Azareel, Malalai, Galalai, Maai, Natanael e Iuda e Anani, instrumenti nelli cantici di David uomo di Dio; ed Esdra cancelliere dinanzi di loro nella porta del fonte.	35 And his brethren Semeia, and Azareel Malalai, Galalai, Maai, Nathanael, and Judas, and Hanani, with the musical instruments of David the man of God: and Esdras the scribe before them at the fountain gate.
36 E contra di loro salirono nelli gradi della città di David, nella salita del muro sopra la casa di David, e insino alla porta dell' acque verso oriente.	36 And they went up over against them by the stairs of the city of David, at the going up of the wall of the house of David, and to the water gate eastward:
37 E il secondo coro riferendo grazie andava all' incontro, e io (andava) dopo lui; e la metà del popolo andava sopra lo muro, e sopra la torre dei forni, e persino al muro latissimo,	37 And the second choir of them that gave thanks went on the opposite side, and I after them, and the half of the people upon the wall, and upon the tower of the furnaces, even to the broad wall,
38 e sopra la porta di Efraim, e sopra la porta antica, e sopra la porta de' pesci, e sopra la torre Ananeel e la torre di Emat, e sino alla porta degli animali; e stettero nella porta della guardia.	38 And above the gate of Ephraim, and above the old gate, and above the fish gate and the tower of Hananeel, and the tower of Emath, and even to the flock gate: and they stood still in the watch gate.
39 E stettero due cori di quelli che laudavano nel tempio di Dio; e io, e la metà delli magistrati meco.	39 And the two choirs of them that gave praise stood still at the house of God, and I and the half of the magistrates with me.
40 E li sacerdoti Eliachim, Maasia, Miamin, Michea, Elioenai, Zacaria, Anania nelle tube,	40 And the priests, Eliachim, Maasia, Miamin, Michea, Elioenai, Zacharia, Hanania with trumpets,
41 e Maasia e Semeia ed Eleazar e Azzi e Ioanan e Melchia ed Elam ed Ezer. E li cantori cantarono con voce consonante, e Iezraia preposito.	41 And Maasia, and Semeia, and Eleazar, and Azzi, and Johanan, and Melchia, and Elam, and Ezer. And the singers sung loud, and Jezraia was their overseer:
42 E sacrificarono in quel dì grande quantità di animali, e rallegroronsi; però che Iddio gli avea data una grande letizia; e anco le sue mogliere e li suoi figliuoli ebbero molto gaudio, e fu udita quella letizia [di Ierusalem] dalla lunga.	42 And they sacrificed on that day great sacrifices, and they rejoiced: for God had made them joyful with great joy: their wives also and their children rejoiced, and the joy of Jerusalem was heard afar off.
43 E numerorono in quel dì (e costituirono) gli uomini sopra il gazofilacio', dove si custodiva il tesoro e quelle cose che insieme colli sacrificii erano offerte, e per le primizie e decime, acciò che i prìncipi della città introducessero per lo mezzo di costoro in ornamento del referire delle grazie, che faceano i sacerdoti e i Leviti; però che Giuda avea grande gaudio nella presenza de' sacerdoti e de' Leviti.	43 They appointed also in that day men over the storehouses of the treasure, for the libations, and for the firstfruits, and for the tithes, that the rulers of the city might bring them in by them in honour of thanksgiving, for the priests and Levites: for Juda was joyful in the priests and Levites that assisted.
44 E custodirono la osservanza del suo Dio, e la osservanza della purgazione; e i cantori e i portieri secondo il comandamento di David feceno, e di Salomone suo figliuolo.	44 And they kept the watch of their God, and the observance of expiation, and the singing men, and the porters, according to the commandment of David, and of Solomon his son.
45 Però che nel tempo di David e di Asaf dal principio erano costituiti (e ordinati) i prìncipi de' cantori, di quelli che laudavano e confessavano a Dio nelli suoi versi.	45 For in the days of David and Asaph from the beginning there were chief singers appointed, to praise with canticles, and give thanks to God.
46 E tutto Israel, nel tempo di Zorobabel e nel tempo di Neemia, davano le parti sue alli cantori e alli portieri per ciascuno dì; e santificavano li Leviti, e li Leviti santificavano li figliuoli di Aaron.	46 And all Israel, in the days of Zorobabel, and in the days of Nehemias gave portions to the singing men, and to the porters, day by day, and they sanctified the Levites, and the Levites sanctified the sons of Aaron.
