1 Nel vigesimo settimo anno di Ieroboam re d' Israel, regnò Azaria (un' altra lettera dice Ozia) figliuolo di Amasia re di Giuda.	1 In the twenty and seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel began Azariah son of Amaziah king of Judah to reign.
2 E quando incominciò a regnare era di XVI anni; e quarantadue anni regnò in Ierusalem; e il nome della sua madre Iechelia di Ierusalem.	2 Sixteen years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned two and fifty years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jecholiah of Jerusalem.
3 E fece quello che piacea nel cospetto di Dio, sì come avea fatto Amasia suo padre.	3 And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Amaziah had done;
4 Ma li luoghi alti non disfece; anche il popolo sacrificava e offeriva lo incenso in li luoghi alti.	4 Save that the high places were not removed: the people sacrificed and burnt incense still on the high places.
5 E percosse Iddio il re; e fu leproso insino al di della sua morte, e abitava in una casa in disparte espedita. E Ioatan figliuolo del re governava il palagio, e facea giustizia al popolo della terra.	5 And the LORD smote the king, so that he was a leper unto the day of his death, and dwelt in a several house. And Jotham the king's son was over the house, judging the people of the land.
6 Tutto l'altro de' fatti del re Azaria (ovvero Ozia) e tutte le cose che fece, non sono elle scritte nelli libri de' fatti del tempo de' re di Giuda?	6 And the rest of the acts of Azariah, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
7 E dormì Azaria colli padri suoi, e fu sepolto con li suoi maggiori nella città di David; e regnò Ioatan suo figliuolo per lui.	7 So Azariah slept with his fathers; and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David: and Jotham his son reigned in his stead.
8 Nell'anno XXXVIII di Azaria (o vero Ozia) re di Giuda, regnò Zacaria figliuolo di Ieroboam sopra Israel in Samaria sei mesi.	8 In the thirty and eighth year of Azariah king of Judah did Zachariah the son of Jeroboam reign over Israel in Samaria six months.
9 E fece male nel cospetto di Dio, sì come avean fatto i padri suoi; e non si partì dai peccati di Ieroboam figliuolo di Nabat, il quale fece peccare Israel.	9 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, as his fathers had done: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.
10 E fece contro a lui congiurazione Sellum figliuolo di Iabes; e ferillo publicamente, e ucciselo, e regnò dopo lui.	10 And Shallum the son of Jabesh conspired against him, and smote him before the people, and slew him, and reigned in his stead.
11 Tutte l'altre cose di Zacaria, non sono loro scritte nelli libri de' fatti de' re d' Israel?	11 And the rest of the acts of Zachariah, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.
12 E questa fu la parola di Dio, la quale disse a Ieu: i tuoi figliuoli, insino alla quarta generazione (di te), sederanno sopra la sedia d'Israel. E così fu fatto.	12 This was the word of the LORD which he spake unto Jehu, saying, Thy sons shall sit on the throne of Israel unto the fourth generation. And so it came to pass.
13 Sellum figliuolo di Iabes regnò nel XXXVIIII anno di Azaria re di Giuda; e regnò uno mese in Samaria.	13 Shallum the son of Jabesh began to reign in the nine and thirtieth year of Uzziah king of Judah; and he reigned a full month in Samaria.
14 E levossi Manaem figliuolo di Gadi di Tersa; e venne in Samaria, e ferì Sellum figliuolo di Iabes in Samaria, e ucciselo, e regnò per lui.	14 For Menahem the son of Gadi went up from Tirzah, and came to Samaria, and smote Shallum the son of Jabesh in Samaria, and slew him, and reigned in his stead.
15 Tutti gli altri fatti di Sellum, e la sua congiurazione, per la quale egli puose agguati, non sono loro scritte nel libro de' fatti de' re d'Israel?	15 And the rest of the acts of Shallum, and his conspiracy which he made, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.
16 E allotta Manaem percosse Tapsa, e tutti quegli ch' erano in essa, e tutti i confini di Tersa, però che non gli aveano voluto aprire; e uccise tutte quelle femine che in essa erano pregne, e fendelle dinanzi.	16 Then Menahem smote Tiphsah, and all that were therein, and the coasts thereof from Tirzah: because they opened not to him, therefore he smote it; and all the women therein that were with child he ripped up.
17 Nel XXXIX anno di Azaria re di Giuda regnò Manaem figliuolo di Gadi sopra ad Israel X anni in Samaria.	17 In the nine and thirtieth year of Azariah king of Judah began Menahem the son of Gadi to reign over Israel, and reigned ten years in Samaria.
18 E fece male nel cospetto di Dio; e non si partì dai peccati di Ieroboam figliuolo di Nabat, il quale fece peccare Israel tutto il tempo suo.	18 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD: he departed not all his days from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.
19 Veniva Ful re degli Assirii in Tersa, e dava Manaem a Ful mille talenti (d' oro e) d' ariento, acciò che fosse in suo aiuto per fermare il suo regno.	19 And Pul the king of Assyria came against the land: and Menahem gave Pul a thousand talents of silver, that his hand might be with him to confirm the kingdom in his hand.
20 E puose Manaem l'ariento sopra Israel, a tutti i possenti e ricchi, che ciascuno dovesse dare al re degli Assiri cinquanta sicli d'ariento; e ritornossi il re degli Assirii, e non dimorò in Tersa.	20 And Menahem exacted the money of Israel, even of all the mighty men of wealth, of each man fifty shekels of silver, to give to the king of Assyria. So the king of Assyria turned back, and stayed not there in the land.
21 Tutte le altre cose di Manaem, e tutto quello che fece, non sono loro scritte nel libro de' fatti del tempo de' re d'Israel?	21 And the rest of the acts of Menahem, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
22 E dormì Manaem colli padri suoi; e regnò Faceia suo figliuolo per lui.	22 And Menahem slept with his fathers; and Pekahiah his son reigned in his stead.
23 Nel quinquagesimo anno di Azaria (ovvero Ozia) re di Giuda, regnò Faceia figliuolo di Manaem sopra Israel in Samaria due anni.	23 In the fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah Pekahiah the son of Menahem began to reign over Israel in Samaria, and reigned two years.
24 E fece male nel cospetto di Dio; e non si partì dai peccati di Ieoroboam figliuolo di Nabat, il quale fece peccare Israel.	24 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.
25 E Facee figliuolo di Romelia fece [contro] a lui congiurazione, il quale era suo duca, e ferillo in Samaria nella torre della casa del re, appresso Argob e appresso Arie, e con esso lui cinquanta uomini de' figliuoli di coloro di Galaad; e ucciselo, e regnò per lui.	25 But Pekah the son of Remaliah, a captain of his, conspired against him, and smote him in Samaria, in the palace of the king's house, with Argob and Arieh, and with him fifty men of the Gileadites: and he killed him, and reigned in his room.
26 Tutte le altre cose di Faceia (che edificoe) e quello che fece, non sono loro scritte nel libro. de' fatti del tempo de' re d' Israel?	26 And the rest of the acts of Pekahiah, and all that he did, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.
27 Nel quinquagesimo secondo anno di Azaria (ovvero Ozia) re di Giuda, regnò Facee figliuolo di Romelia sopra Israel in Samaria XX anni.	27 In the two and fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah Pekah the son of Remaliah began to reign over Israel in Samaria, and reigned twenty years.
28 E fece male nel cospetto di Dio; e non si partì dai peccati di Ieroboam figliuolo di Nabat, il quale fece peccare Israel.	28 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.
29 Nel tempo di Facee re d' Israel venne Teglatfalasar re di Assur; e prese Aion, e Abel, la casa di Maaca, e Ianoe e Cedes e Asor e Galaad e Galilea e tutta la terra di Neftali; e portogli nella terra degli Assirii.	29 In the days of Pekah king of Israel came Tiglath-pileser king of Assyria, and took Ijon, and Abel-beth-maachah, and Jonoah, and Kedesh, and Hazor, and Gilead, and Galilee, all the land of Naphtali, and carried them captive to Assyria.
30 E Osee figliuolo, di Ela fece congiurazione, e puose insidie contro a Facee figliuolo di Romelia; e ferillo, e morio; e regnò per lui nel XX anno di Ioatam figliuolo di Ozia.	30 And Hoshea the son of Elah made a conspiracy against Pekah the son of Remaliah, and smote him, and slew him, and reigned in his stead, in the twentieth year of Jotham the son of Uzziah.
31 Tutte le altre cose che fece Facee, non sono loro scritte nel libro de' fatti del tempo de' re d' Israel?	31 And the rest of the acts of Pekah, and all that he did, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.
32 Nel secondo anno di Facee figliuolo di Romelia re d' Israel regnò Ioatam figliuolo di Ozia re di Giuda.	32 In the second year of Pekah the son of Remaliah king of Israel began Jotham the son of Uzziah king of Judah to reign.
33 Ed era di XXV anni quando incominciò a regnare; e XVI anni regnò in Ierusalem; la madre ebbe nome Ierusa figliuola di Sadoc.	33 Five and twenty years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jerusha, the daughter of Zadok.
34 E fece quello piacque nel cospetto di Dio, secondo tutto quello che fece Ozia suo padre.	34 And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD: he did according to all that his father Uzziah had done.
35 Ma i luoghi alti non tolse via; ancora sacrificava il popolo e offeriva l' incenso nei luoghi alti; egli edificò la porta altissima della casa di Dio.	35 Howbeit the high places were not removed: the people sacrificed and burned incense still in the high places. He built the higher gate of the house of the LORD.
36 Tutti gli altri fatti di Ioatam, e quel che fece, non sono loro scritti nel libro de' fatti de' re di Giuda?	36 Now the rest of the acts of Jotham, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
37 In quel tempo il Signore incominciò a mandare in Giudea Rasin re di Siria, e Facee figliuolo di Romelia.	37 In those days the LORD began to send against Judah Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah.
38 E Ioatam dormi colli padri suoi, e fu sepolto nella città di David con esso loro; e regnò Acaz suo figliuolo per lui.	38 And Jotham slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father: and Ahaz his son reigned in his stead.
