SMITH VAN DYKE	NEW JERUSALEM
1 تسبيحة لداود‎. ‎ارفعك يا الهي الملك وابارك اسمك الى الدهر والابد‎.	1 [Hymn of Praise Of David] I shal praise you to the heights, God my King, I shal bless your name forever and ever.
2 ‎في كل يوم اباركك واسبح اسمك الى الدهر والابد‎.	2 Day after day I shal bless you, I shal praise your name for ever and ever.
3 ‎عظيم هو الرب وحميد جدا وليس لعظمته استقصاء‎.	3 Great is Yahweh and worthy of al praise, his greatness beyond al reckoning.
4 ‎دور الى دور يسبح اعمالك وبجبروتك يخبرون‎.	4 Each age will praise your deeds to the next, proclaiming your mighty works.
5 ‎بجلال مجد حمدك وامور عجائبك الهج‎.	5 Your renown is the splendour of your glory, I wil ponder the story of your wonders.
6 ‎بقوة مخاوفك ينطقون وبعظمتك احدث	6 They will speak of your awesome power, and I shal recount your greatness.
7 ذكر كثرة صلاحك يبدون وبعدلك يرنمون	7 They will bring out the memory of your great generosity, and joyfully acclaim your saving justice.
8 الرب حنّان ورحيم طويل الروح وكثير الرحمة‎.	8 Yahweh is tenderness and pity, slow to anger, ful of faithful love.
9 ‎الرب صالح للكل ومراحمه على كل اعماله‎.	9 Yahweh is generous to al , his tenderness embraces all his creatures.
10 ‎يحمدك يا رب كل اعمالك ويباركك اتقياؤك‎.	10 Al your creatures shall thank you, Yahweh, and your faithful shall bless you.
11 ‎بمجد ملكك ينطقون وبجبروتك يتكلمون	11 They shal speak of the glory of your kingship and tell of your might,
12 ليعرفوا بني آدم قدرتك ومجد جلال ملكك‎.	12 making known your mighty deeds to the children of Adam, the glory and majesty of your kingship.
13 ‎ملكك ملك كل الدهور وسلطانك في كل دور فدور	13 Your kingship is a kingship for ever, your reign lasts from age to age. Yahweh is trustworthy in allhis words, and upright in al his deeds.
14 الرب عاضد كل الساقطين ومقوم كل المنحنين‎.	14 Yahweh supports al who stumble, lifts up those who are bowed down.
15 ‎اعين الكل اياك تترجى وانت تعطيهم طعامهم في حينه‎.	15 Al look to you in hope and you feed them with the food of the season.
16 ‎تفتح يدك فتشبع كل حيّ رضى‎.	16 And, with generous hand, you satisfy the desires of every living creature.
17 ‎الرب بار في كل طرقه ورحيم في كل اعماله‎.	17 Upright in al that he does, Yahweh acts only in faithful love.
18 ‎الرب قريب لكل الذين يدعونه الذين يدعونه بالحق‎.	18 He is close to al who cal upon him, all who call on him from the heart.
19 ‎يعمل رضى خائفيه ويسمع تضرعهم فيخلصهم‎.	19 He fulfils the desires of al who fear him, he hears their cry and he saves them.
20 ‎يحفظ الرب كل محبيه ويهلك جميع الاشرار‎.	20 Yahweh guards all who love him, but al the wicked he destroys.
21 ‎بتسبيح الرب ينطق فمي. وليبارك كل بشر اسمه القدوس الى الدهر والابد	21 My mouth shall always praise Yahweh, let every creature bless his holy name for ever and ever.
