1 Alleluia. Sì, è bello inneggiare al nostro Dio; è dolce innalzare a lui la lode.	1 Hallelujah! How good to celebrate our God in song; how sweet to give fitting praise.
2 Il Signore ricostruisce Gerusalemme, raduna i dispersi d'Israele.	2 The LORD rebuilds Jerusalem, gathers the dispersed of Israel,
3 Egli risana i contriti di cuore e fascia le loro ferite.	3 Heals the brokenhearted, binds up their wounds,
4 Egli conta il numero delle stelle, tutte le chiama per nome.	4 Numbers all the stars, calls each of them by name.
5 Grande è il nostro Dio, immensa la sua potenza, incalcolabile la sua sapienza.	5 Great is our Lord, vast in power, with wisdom beyond measure.
6 Il Signore sostiene gli umili, ma abbassa fino a terra gli empi.	6 The LORD sustains the poor, but casts the wicked to the ground.
7 Cantate al Signore con azione di grazie, con la cetra inneggiate al nostro Dio.	7 Sing to the LORD with thanksgiving; with the lyre celebrate our God,
8 Egli copre il cielo di nubi, prepara la pioggia per la terra, fa germogliare i monti con erba.	8 Who covers the heavens with clouds, provides rain for the earth, makes grass sprout on the mountains,
9 Dà al bestiame il cibo, ai piccoli del corvo che gridano a lui.	9 Who gives animals their food and ravens what they cry for.
10 Non tiene conto del vigore del cavallo, né si compiace delle gambe dell'uomo.	10 God takes no delight in the strength of horses, no pleasure in the runner's stride.
11 Egli si compiace di quanti lo temono, di quanti sperano nella sua misericordia.	11 Rather the LORD takes pleasure in the devout, those who await his faithful care.
12 Glorifica il Signore, Gerusalemme, loda il tuo Dio, o Sion;	12 Glorify the LORD, Jerusalem; Zion, offer praise to your God,
13 poiché ha rinforzato le sbarre delle tue porte, in mezzo a te ha benedetto i tuoi figli.	13 Who has strengthened the bars of your gates, blessed your children within you,
14 Egli rende sicuri i tuoi confini, ti sazia con fior di frumento.	14 Brought peace to your borders, and filled you with finest wheat.
15 Invia sulla terra il suo comando, corre veloce la sua parola:	15 The LORD sends a command to earth; his word runs swiftly!
16 dà la neve, simile a lana, sparge la brina, simile a cenere;	16 Thus snow is spread like wool, frost is scattered like ash,
17 egli getta la sua grandine, simile a briciole; dal suo gelo si formano le acque.	17 Hail is dispersed like crumbs; before such cold the waters freeze.
18 Manda la sua parola e le dissolve, fa soffiare il suo alito e scorrono le acque.	18 Again he sends his word and they melt; the wind is unleashed and the waters flow.
19 Annunzia la sua parola a Giacobbe, i suoi decreti e i suoi giudizi a Israele.	19 The LORD also proclaims his word to Jacob, decrees and laws to Israel.
20 Non ha fatto questo con nessun'altra nazione, non ha fatto conoscere a loro i suoi giudizi. Alleluia.	20 God has not done this for other nations; of such laws they know nothing. Hallelujah!
