1 And again, he entered into the synagogue. And there was a man there who had a withered hand.	1 Entró de nuevo en la sinagoga, y había allí un hombre que tenía la mano paralizada.
2 And they observed him, to see if he would cure on the Sabbaths, so that they might accuse him.	2 Estaban al acecho a ver si le curaba en sábado para poder acusarle.
3 And he said to the man who had the withered hand, “Stand up in the middle.”	3 Dice al hombre que tenía la mano seca: «Levántate ahí en medio».
4 And he said to them: “Is it lawful to do good on the Sabbaths, or to do evil, to give health to a life, or to destroy?” But they remained silent.	4 Y les dice: «¿Es lícito en sábado hacer el bien en vez del mal, salvar una vida en vez de destruirla?» Pero ellos callaban.
5 And looking around at them with anger, being very saddened over the blindness of their hearts, he said to the man, “Extend your hand.” And he extended it, and his hand was restored to him.	5 Entonces, mirándoles con ira, apenado por la dureza de su corazón, dice al hombre: «Extiende la mano». El la extendió y quedó restablecida su mano.
6 Then the Pharisees, going out, immediately took counsel with the Herodians against him, as to how they might destroy him.	6 En cuanto salieron los fariseos, se confabularon con los herodianos contra él para ver cómo eliminarle.
7 But Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the sea. And a great crowd followed him from Galilee and Judea,	7 Jesús se retiró con sus discípulos hacia el mar, y le siguió una gran muchedumbre de Galilea. También de Judea,
8 and from Jerusalem, and from Idumea and across the Jordan. And those around Tyre and Sidon, upon hearing what he was doing, came to him in a great multitude.	8 de Jerusalén, de Idumea, del otro lado del Jordán, de los alrededores de Tiro y Sidón, una gran muchedumbre, al oír lo que hacía, acudió a él.
9 And he told his disciples that a small boat would be useful to him, because of the crowd, lest they press upon him.	9 Entonces, a causa de la multitud, dijo a sus discípulos que le prepararan una pequeña barca, para que no le aplastaran.
10 For he healed so many, that as many of them as had wounds would rush toward him in order to touch him.	10 Pues curó a muchos, de suerte que cuantos padecían dolencias se le echaban encima para tocarle.
11 And the unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell prostrate before him. And they cried out, saying,	11 Y los espíritus inmundos, al verle, se arrojaban a sus pies y gritaban: «Tú eres el Hijo de Dios».
12 “You are the Son of God.” And he strongly admonished them, lest they make him known.	12 Pero él les mandaba enérgicamente que no le descubrieran.
13 And ascending onto a mountain, he called to himself those whom he willed, and they came to him.	13 Subió al monte y llamó a los que él quiso; y vinieron donde él.
14 And he acted so that the twelve would be with him, and so that he might send them out to preach.	14 Instituyó Doce, para que estuvieran con él, y para enviarlos a predicar
15 And he gave them authority to cure infirmities, and to cast out demons:	15 con poder de expulsar los demonios.
16 and he imposed on Simon the name Peter;	16 Instituyó a los Doce y puso a Simón el nombre de Pedro;
17 and also he imposed on James of Zebedee, and John the brother of James, the name ‘Boanerges,’ that is, ‘Sons of Thunder;’	17 a Santiago el de Zebedeo y a Juan, el hermano de Santiago, a quienes puso por nombre Boanerges, es decir, hijos del trueno;
18 and Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James of Alphaeus, and Thaddeus, and Simon the Canaanite,	18 a Andrés, Felipe, Bartolomé, Mateo, Tomás, Santiago el de Alfeo, Tadeo, Simón el Cananeo
19 and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.	19 y Judas Iscariote, el mismo que le entregó.
20 And they went to a house, and the crowd gathered together again, so much so that they were not even able to eat bread.	20 Vuelve a casa. Se aglomera otra vez la muchedumbre de modo que no podían comer.
21 And when his own had heard of it, they went out to take hold of him. For they said: “Because he has gone mad.”	21 Se enteraron sus parientes y fueron a hacerse cargo de él, pues decían: «Está fuera de sí».
22 And the scribes who had descended from Jerusalem said, “Because he has Beelzebub, and because by the prince of demons does he cast out demons.”	22 Los escribas que habían bajado de Jerusalén decían: «Está poseído por Beelzebul» y «por el príncipe de los demonios expulsa los demonios».
23 And having called them together, he spoke to them in parables: “How can Satan cast out Satan?	23 El, llamándoles junto a sí, les decía en parábolas: «¿Cómo puede Satanás expulsar a Satanás?
24 For if a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom is not able to stand.	24 Si un reino está dividido contra sí mismo, ese reino no puede subsistir.
25 And if a house is divided against itself, that house is not able to stand.	25 Si una casa está dividida contra sí misma, esa casa no podrá subsistir.
26 And if Satan has risen up against himself, he would be divided, and he would not be able to stand; instead he reaches the end.	26 Y si Satanás se ha alzado contra sí mismo y está dividido, no puede subsistir, pues ha llegado su fin.
27 No one is able to plunder the goods of a strong man, having entered into the house, unless he first binds the strong man, and then he shall plunder his house.	27 Pero nadie puede entrar en la casa del fuerte y saquear su ajuar, si no ata primero al fuerte; entonces podrá saquear su casa.
28 Amen I say to you, that all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and the blasphemies by which they will have blasphemed.	28 Yo os aseguro que se perdonará todo a los hijos de los hombres, los pecados y las blasfemias, por muchas que éstas sean.
29 But he who will have blasphemed against the Holy Spirit shall not have forgiveness in eternity; instead he shall be guilty of an eternal offense.”	29 Pero el que blasfeme contra el Espíritu Santo, no tendrá perdón nunca, antes bien, será reo de pecado eterno».
30 For they said: “He has an unclean spirit.”	30 Es que decían: «Está poseído por un espíritu inmundo».
31 And his mother and brothers arrived. And standing outside, they sent to him, calling him.	31 Llegan su madre y sus hermanos, y quedándose fuera, le envían a llamar.
32 And the crowd was sitting around him. And they said to him, “Behold, your mother and your brothers are outside, seeking you.”	32 Estaba mucha gente sentada a su alrededor. Le dicen: «¡Oye!, tu madre, tus hermanos y tus hermanas están fuera y te buscan».
33 And responding to them, he said, “Who is my mother and my brothers?”	33 El les responde: «¿Quién es mi madre y mis hermanos?»
34 And looking around at those who were sitting all around him, he said: “Behold, my mother and my brothers.	34 Y mirando en torno a los que estaban sentados en corro, a su alrededor, dice: «Estos son mi madre y mis hermanos.
35 For whoever has done the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister and mother.”	35 Quien cumpla la voluntad de Dios, ése es mi hermano, mi hermana y mi madre».
