NEW JERUSALEM	Biblia Tysiąclecia
1 On the first day of the week, at the first sign of dawn, they went to the tomb with the spices they hadprepared.	1 W pierwszy dzień tygodnia poszły skoro świt do grobu, niosąc przygotowane wonności.
2 They found that the stone had been rol ed away from the tomb,	2 Kamień od grobu zastały odsunięty.

4 As they stood there puzzled about this, two men in bril iant clothes suddenly appeared at their side.	4 Gdy wobec tego były bezradne, nagle stanęło przed nimi dwóch mężczyzn w lśniących szatach.
5 Terrified, the women bowed their heads to the ground. But the two said to them, 'Why look among thedead for someone who is alive?	5 Przestraszone, pochyliły twarze ku ziemi, lecz tamci rzekli do nich: Dlaczego szukacie żyjącego wśród umarłych?

12 Peter, however, went off to the tomb, running. 18 Then one of them, called Cleopas, answered him, 'You must be the only person staying in Jerusalemwho does not know the things that have been happening there these last few days.'	18 A jeden z nich, imieniem Kleofas, odpowiedział Mu: Ty jesteś chyba jedynym z przebywających w Jerozolimie, który nie wie, co się tam w tych dniach stało.
19 He asked, 'What things?' They answered, 'Al about Jesus of Nazareth, who showed himself aprophet powerful in action and speech before God and the whole people;	19 Zapytał ich: Cóż takiego? 32 Then they said to each other, 'Did not our hearts burn within us as he talked to us on the road andexplained the scriptures to us?'	32 I mówili nawzajem do siebie: Czy serce nie pałało w nas, kiedy rozmawiał z nami w drodze i Pisma nam wyjaśniał?
33 They set out that instant and returned to Jerusalem. There they found the Eleven assembled togetherwith their companions,	33 W tej samej godzinie wybrali się i wrócili do Jerozolimy. Tam zastali zebranych Jedenastu i innych z nimi,

50 Then he took them out as far as the outskirts of Bethany, and raising his hands he blessed them.	50 Potem wyprowadził ich ku Betanii i podniósłszy ręce błogosławił ich.
51 Now as he blessed them, he withdrew from them and was carried up to heaven.	51 A kiedy ich błogosławił, rozstał się z nimi i został uniesiony do nieba.
52 They worshipped him and then went back to Jerusalem ful of joy;	52 Oni zaś oddali Mu pokłon i z wielką radością wrócili do Jerozolimy,
