1 Cantique. D'Asaph.	1 Unto the end. For the wine and oil presses. A Psalm to the sons of Korah.
2 O Dieu, ne reste pas muet, plus de repos, plus de silence, ô Dieu!	2 How beloved are your tabernacles, O Lord of hosts!
3 Voici, tes adversaires grondent, tes ennemis lèvent la tête.	3 My soul longs and faints for the courts of the Lord. My heart and my flesh have exulted in the living God.
4 Contre ton peuple ils trament un complot, conspirent contre tes protégés	4 For even the sparrow has found a home for himself, and the turtle-dove a nest for herself, where she may lay her young: your altars, O Lord of hosts, my king and my God.
5 et disent: "Venez, retranchons-les des nations, qu'on n'ait plus souvenir du nom d'Israël! "	5 Blessed are those who dwell in your house, O Lord. They will praise you from age to age.
6 Ils conspirent tous d'un seul coeur, contre toi ils scellent une alliance:	6 Blessed is the man whose help is from you. In his heart, he is disposed to ascend
7 les tentes d'Edom et les Ismaélites, Moab et les Hagrites,	7 from the valley of tears, from the place which he has determined.
8 Gébal, Ammon, Amaleq, la Philistie avec les gens de Tyr;	8 For even the lawgiver will provide a blessing; they will go from virtue to virtue. The God of gods will be seen in Zion.
9 même Assur s'est joint à eux, il prête main-forte aux fils de Lot.	9 O Lord, God of hosts, hear my prayer. Pay attention, O God of Jacob.
10 Fais d'eux comme de Madiân et de Sisera, comme de Yabîn au torrent de Qishôn;	10 O God, gaze upon our protector, and look upon the face of your Christ.
11 ils furent détruits à En-Dor, ils ont servi de fumier à la glèbe.	11 For one day in your courts is better than thousands elsewhere. I have chosen to be lowly in the house of my God, rather than to dwell in the tabernacles of sinners.
12 Traite leurs princes comme Oreb et Zéeb, comme Zébah et Calmunna, tous leurs chefs,	12 For God loves mercy and truth. The Lord will give grace and glory.
13 eux qui disaient: A nous l'empire sur les demeures de Dieu!	13 He will not withhold good things from those who walk in innocence. O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man who hopes in you.
14 Mon Dieu, traite-les comme une roue d'acanthe, comme un fétu en proie au vent.
15 Comme un feu dévore une forêt, comme la flamme embrase les montagnes,
16 ainsi poursuis-les de ta bourrasque, par ton ouragan remplis-les d'épouvante.
17 Couvre leur face de honte, qu'ils cherchent ton nom, Yahvé!
18 Sur eux la honte et l'épouvante pour toujours, la confusion et la perdition,
19 et qu'ils le sachent: toi seul as nom Yahvé, Très-Haut sur toute la terre.
