Zacarías 6

BIBLIA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Alcé otra vez los ojos y tuve una visión: Eran cuatro carros que salían de entre dos montes; y los montes eran montes de bronce.	1 Again I raised my eyes, and this is what I saw: four chariots coming out between two mountains, andthe mountains were mountains of bronze.
2 En el primer carro había caballos rojos, en el segundo carro caballos negros,	2 The first chariot had red horses, the second chariot had black horses,
3 en el tercer carro caballos blancos, y en el cuarto carro caballos tordos.	3 the third chariot had white horses and the fourth chariot had vigorous, piebald horses.
4 Tomé la palabra y dije al ángel que hablaba conmigo: «¿Qué son éstos, señor mío?»	4 I asked the angel who was talking to me, 'What are these, my lord?'
5 El ángel respondió y me dijo: «Son los cuatro vientos del cielo que salen después de presentarse ante el Señor de toda la tierra.	5 The angel replied, 'They are the four winds of heaven now leaving, after attending the Lord of the wholeworld.
6 Donde están los caballos negros, salen hacía el país del norte; los blancos salen detrás de ellos y los tordos salen hacía el país del sur».	6 The black horses are leaving for the land of the north; the white are following them, and the piebald areleaving for the land of the south.'
7 Briosos salían, impacientes por recorrer la tierra. Les dijo: «Id, recorred la tierra». Y recorrieron la tierra.	7 They came out vigorously, eager to patrol the world. He said to them, 'Go and patrol the world.' Andthey patrol ed the world.
8 Y a mí me gritó y me habló así: «Mira, los que salen hacia el país del norte van a aplacar mi espíritu en el país del norte».	8 He called to me and said, 'Look, the ones going to the land of the north brought my spirit to rest on theland of the north.'
9 La palabra de Yahveh me fue dirigida en estos términos:	9 Then the word of Yahweh was addressed to me as fol ows,
10 «Haz una colecta entre los deportados: Jelday, Tobías y Yedaías; vienes aquel día y entras en la casa de Josías, hijo de Sefanías, a donde han llegado de Babilonia,	10 'Col ect silver and gold from the exiles, from Heldai, Tobijah and Jedaiah, then (you yourself go thesame day) go to the house of Josiah son of Zephaniah, who has arrived from Babylon.
11 tomas la plata y el oro, haces una corona, la pones en la cabeza del sumo sacerdote Josué, hijo de Yehosadaq,	11 Then, taking the silver and gold, make a crown and place it on the head of the high priest Joshua sonof Jehozadak.
12 y le hablas de esta manera: Así dice Yahveh Sebaot: He aquí un hombre cuyo nombre es Germen: debajo de él habrá germinación (y él edificará el Templo de Yahveh).	12 And say this to him, "Yahweh Sabaoth says this: Here is a man whose name is Branch; where he is,there will be a branching out (and he wil rebuild Yahweh's sanctuary).
13 El edificará el Templo de Yahveh; él llevará las insignias reales, se sentará y dominará en su trono; habrá un sacerdote a su derecha, y consejo de paz habrá entre ellos dos.	13 Yes, he is the one who wil rebuild Yahweh's sanctuary; he wil wear the royal insignia and sit on histhrone and govern, with a priest on his right. Perfect peace wil reign between these two.
14 Será la corona para Jelday, Tobías y Yedaías, y para el hijo de Sefanías, un memorial de gracia en el Templo de Yahveh.	14 And the crown wil serve Heldai, Tobijah, Jedaiah and the son of Zephaniah as a memorial of favour inYahweh's sanctuary.
15 Y los que están lejos vendrán y reedificarán el Templo de Yahveh. Sabréis entonces que Yahveh Sebaot me ha enviado a vosotros. Así será si de verdad escucháis la voz de Yahveh vuestro Dios».	15 And those now far away wil come and work on the building of Yahweh's sanctuary." 'Then you willknow that Yahweh Sabaoth has sent me to you. It wil happen if you diligently obey the voice of Yahweh yourGod.'
